Brings back memories of me and my granny watching RH after I got off from work ...I recorded the show everyday!!!! Lord how I miss those days and my granny!!!!!
I never saw this show when it was on the air, but I decided to watch on a whim recently, and I have to admit I really enjoy it. Thanks for putting it on.
As the years went by I thought I imagined that Bernard Barrow's Irish brogue went in and out. I'm rewatching and I wasn't wrong. It became more pronounced in later years.
@@Lauren-pu6qu I remember that. But it seems to me that he spoke with more of an Irish brogue in later years. Just compare a clip from 1976 and 1983 and hear for yourself.
Nice touch when meave reached out to touch frank and pat the son / doctor knew frank couldnt be touched for fear of more injury...todays soaps wouldnt have the insight to do that....i miss when soaps were good!
Good god, that Jack actor need to dial it back. He's talking to Mary as if she has committed a heinous crime. Is that supposed to be how a crackerjack journalist talks?
My son was born the same year this show began. I remember folding diapers while I watched it. That's right, we ancients folded diapers, lol. I watched it a couple of years while I was able to stay home with my baby. Lost track of it when I went back out to work. Couldn't record things back in the olden days. Delia was such a bad girl, lol, so insecure and mnipulative,. Her machinations were fun to watch. She ALWAYS had secrets and schemes going.
I agree she looked like the girl on Green Acres that worked alongside their farm hand. Her name was one for either a boy or girl. I liked that actress, but for some reason, I simply couldn’t warm to this first actress portraying the character, Faith. In my opinion, the last Faith was the best of the 3.
I like Johnny’s face when Dr. Coleridge told him your son had a lot of cash on him. He had some show dough now where the hell did that show dough come from?
I like Ryan’s Hope the only thing is they show Frank with no injury on this head. And tater on they showed him in pjs he never would have gotten them on him.

Thank you RUclips I hooked on Ryan's hope again thanks for the upload 👍
I'm so happy I found this collection; I've been searching everywhere for RH episodes!
Mama is ON THE WAY. I love Maeve Ryan so much. Hysterics? No. Panic? No. Unfinished food prep? Oh well. Her boy needs her. BYE BYE APRON.
This show is amazing. What is it that draws us back to these older shows?
YES i love all RH,but the episodes with Kim,Rae and Seneca are really a must see.thanks.keep up the great work
do you have the 3rd episode?

Bernard Barrow was born in New York and the character Johnny Ryan was born and raised in New York.

@@amiblueful Maybe some of Maeve's rubbed off on him over the years☘
@Lauren-pu6qu Johnny's parents were Irish immigrants. His father was a NYC policeman killed in the line of duty.
Thanks so much for posting these early RH shows. I never had Soapnet so I could not watch them.
It’s going to be interesting watching 50 year old medicine.

Question... How much would you charge me for the entire series of Ryan's Hope..🙏
RIP Malachy McCourt aka Kevin the bartender. He passed away on March 11 2024 at the age of 92.

And yet she fell in love with him.

I am so glad this Faith didn't last long. She's awful. Just sayin'.

I can’t believe Jack is wearing a wig. Who the hell would it would’ve noticed that I didn’t. I thought that was his hair.
Delia pushed him
Delia has a thing for stairs, doesn't she?
Where are episodes 2 & 3?
I know. I really wish,,,
What ever happened to 3?
Come on we’re talking about Maeve. She’s a saint.
I like Ryan’s Hope the only thing is they show Frank with no injury on this head. And tater on they showed him in pjs he never would have gotten them on him.
No Maeve Roger is a snake. He’s not a good lad. He’s a great surgeon and other than that he’s despicable.
She didn't wash her hands after handling raw meat 🤮
she never washes her hands before or after handling food. Ryan's is an e-coli hotbed LOL
