Great series Mike. I will add a observation I had while fishing with cranks. Loosen the drag. Once you hook the fish, then tighten it up to bring in the fish. Thanks again for putting this out. Your enthusiast nature shows up in these videos.
I use 7 foot Quantum smoke rod with micro line guides, Quantum smoke S3 baitcaster with 7.3:1. I have 10lbs and 14lbs mono on my other reel. It is a great casting rod for crankbaits. Great information 👍
I use graphite million hi -strain 7 foot med Quantum smoke rod with micro line and Quantum smoke S3 baitcaster with Sufix siege mono 10lbs and 14lbs on my other reel
@@Cornelius798 Thank you. The reel weight only 6.9 oz. The rod is very light. I started using a baitcaster two years ago. I been using a Shimano spinning combo all my life. Since 96 I have a squash disk in my lower back and using the spinning combo I had to take breaks every half hour. Now I don't have to take as many breaks using the baitcaster
I love this series…Greetings from Germany 👍🎣😁
Good way to end this series!!! 👍🏻 Looking forward to other series you will be doing!!! Stay Safe & God Bless!!!

I had a lot of fun fishing my micro crank bait today but, i snagged my nice deep diving crank bait. Thank you Ike !
Keep up the good work bud! 👏
Like your videos dude. You get into it !
I personally like using glass crank rods, it seems to work really well for shock absorption and keeping those small trebles pinned.
Thank you Dude, good fishermen have great imaginations. Visualize what you are making your lure do.
Great information IKE. Thank you for sharing great series 😀 👍

Spoons and in line spinners have trebles do I need a special rod for those also ?
Pretty sure nobody is gonna answer but giving it a shot : does a 2 piece work to get the right action? Thinking of grabbing a medium glass rod
Maybe just a bad batch but 3 I’ve bought have snap the tips or guides come loose. I gave up on them.
How long does it take a deep diver to get to max depth?
I have many naughty things to say, but it’s 6am and it’s too early to bother
