(sorry if you found this already) you need to set a material to the rest of the dice, and have a separate material for the indents on the dice to prevent this issue from happening.
Great tutorial. Quick and too the point. My 6 number came out looking like a line instead of dots though

TIP: if you see jagged lines on the rounding of your dices dont forget to shade smooth your it :)
Shade smooth, you mean: Ctrl + A > smooth?
