Hey there! I've watched nearly every single one of your videos from the last ~2 years with great enjoyment. One thing I found somewhat remarkable was how long it took you to adjust the volume for the intro for your videos to a reasonable level, It's very apparent that the volume was much louder in 2019 and earlier videos compared to 2020. It turned into a habit when I was watching some of your older videos that I would just instantly try to mute RUclips for the first few seconds of the video before the whole apartment started rumbling. About a week or so ago I noticed how the volume has been increased again to an unholy level, always much louder than the caster commentary, and I don't know what happened. Could you please take a second look at this and try to keep the intro volume about the same level as it has been for most of 2020 up until now? I have a decent set of stereo monitor speakers, and so It's possible that your sound system doesn't have the same low frequency response as mine does, which could explain why you're not noticing it as a problem. Would be very thankful if you could change this, considering you're probably the only RUclipsr right now where I'm watching every single new vid. Appreciate the work and videos as always!

I noticed that too, but for me it just doesn't sound like actual low frequency, it gets cut off at some point which is kinda sus (Haha Among Us joke).
Protoss gets done dirty in this game. Can you imagine a Protoss losing 30 workers then still overwhelming the enemy attack

26 drones killed and Rogue still manage to defend the immortal timing. I guess there’s nothing to say but a solid Zerg OP
this map pool really favored lurkers. the tight chokes made lurkers incredibly strong, turning zerg into terran with high cost efficiency. it killed any sort of ability to take good fights or pressure with groundtoss, which allowed the zerg to go up to their desired amount of drones safely, but the zerg doesn't really even need those drones because of how strong lurkers were in that map pool; you didn't need to overwhelm your opponent with eco, because a lurker army generally won any fights it needed to go against. it was a win condition, which put pressure on the toss to make a winning play.
parting's mistake here was trying to be active, take fights, micro, etc.. he needed to tech up sooner and just focus on turtling into skytoss in the same way you would against, say, a mech player, because you're basically guaranteed to lose any fight against lurkers in that map pool.

Second game, Parting needed colossus to go with those carriers. Hydras will always neutralize interceptors in those battles.
This makes me happy, really glad Rogue came back fro that 1-2, great plays!

That last game was a throw. He had void rays firing at overlords with their prismatic alignment like every fight, while lurkers were on the field and hydras weren’t

The last game was painful to watch. It's almost like PartinG forgot how to play as his Zealot / Archon / Immortal / Voidray push came in.

Unexpected, and a great trick to beat rouge, though i highly doubt he’ll fall to that again as it does seem like a one shot trick (not the cannon rush but trapping 5 workers)
@@GoblinUrNuts 1 drone so they forced to wall off just cancel or finish( cancel gives you minerals finish makes creep and deny more buildings and forces more cannons to finish) and go ravagers.
@@GoblinUrNuts you have a very good all in position there/good harass, if they expand, your ravagers can just bile down the cannon denying the hatch, if they expanded they wont have basically any amount of cannons at your nat, and then your ravagers will kill the cannons and plylons (leave anything that doesnt deny your nat for later) and after that kill the protoss or do HEAVY damage and expand behind it
@@GoblinUrNuts So, the thing is you’re not trying to save the hatch, you’re trying to just break their aggro incase of a 1 base follow up, and go for a VERY deadly push incase of a expand follow up. If they put too many cannons, their nexus will propably be later than your hatch, and your ravagers will kill them because cannons also delay tech. If they build a gateway, letting the hatch finish isnt a bad idea as it will spread creep which may deny their folloup proxy tech. If they just put a pylon in the middle where they cant wall, just pull drones cuz that’ll work and they suck anyway (prob below diamond mmr)
Oh man Parting got too confident there in game 5. I think he'd have won that if he just used the zealots with the immortals and also the archons separating from the immortals was kinda bad. But yeah, he probably wanted to get a better concave or something.
Lurkers are so frustrating
i dont think non protoss players realize how hard 1:48 is to pull off. definitely no one under 6500 mmr could and even at the gsl level it's 50/50. i've been there and i always lose because you need 3 things to happen perfectly:
1) you need a probe already at the wall to drop the pylon. by the time you scout it it's too late.
2) you need to move your units out of the way to not block your own pylon. this is where 99.9% of people fail cause the default movement is too slow.
3) you need to drop the pylon in time after moving your units in.

This game was a perfect example of how guarbage the protoss tech is. This is maybe the tenth game I have been watching in a row that immortals can't do a shit.

ASUS rog had so many reverse sweeps and near reverse sweeps. quite an exciting series.
14:49 - 15:13 it looks like he psi storms his own interceptors multiple times. Does psi storm not damage interceptors like with buildings? Or is that just some really questionable play?
It does. Human mistake
They do get hit by storm, but don't take much damage bc they're mechanical (iirc)
@@Algormortis9 Storm does the same damage to everything; they don't take too much damage because they move fast and leave the storm zone when they're out of shields.

Idk, so basically protoss got very lucky to move adept and see zerglings and it lead him to pull of perfect defense against all in, commentators say that protoss is strongly ahead now... But the game lasts for awhile yet and ends with actually close enough fight.

Holy shit that was the luckiest plays in a row. First he mispositions his probe, but rogue leaves a hole for one second that parting puts a pylon to wall of. Second, he was being drone drilled, just as he was sending a probe out to take a 3rd. Than that same probe goes in and makes a pylon wall. It was literally on the wall as he saw the rush. Granted those were great moves on the fly, but he cannot have been more lucky.
I mean, the cannon could only be attacked by 2 drones, so the drone pull there was a major mistake from rouge. (Cannon would kill like 5-8 drones before dying which isnt a bad trade.) his probe was outside not as a mistake, but because he didnt expect rouge to drone pull a semi walled cannon (its not a great move for a progamer level player). If he hadnt walled in the cannnon, he could use his probe to tag the drones, giving him the ability to 2 shot them rather than 3 so drone pull there really wasnt a good move. Then parting made it worse by walling it off (this isnt something that he made up on the fly, he propably just realized on the fly that he could do it since its something that can happen)
@@snowdrop9810 I have no idea what you said with your last sentence, but I agree that it was not a good move by rogue. But I do not know what his intention was, perhaps it was not to kill that cannon, but to stop further cannons from going up and killing the probe. Perhaps he was just buying time for his hatchery to finish so that creep can stop further buildings. Perhaps his plan was to soften the cannon, so a spine crawler or zergling follow up could take it away.
Also tagging the drones is not good idea, you should preserve your probe above all else.
@@oguzcanoguz5977 he’s parting, he can tag and not even take damage. Also rouge thought he could break the cannon i think (it just had little enough surface area for it to not be broken by a drone pull
@@snowdrop9810 And he is rogue, the former world champion, he can kill the probe trying to tag him. This line of arguing is nonsensical. Rogue probably did thought that he could break the cannon and I am not sure if he could to be honest. It seems like if you stack the drones properly, you can put 3 drones, which can kill the cannon depending on when they start attacking it. I also know for certain that he could have killed the cannon the moment parting trapped 4 drones inside. Because the moment they are trapped, you can use mineral walk stacking to attack the cannon as 4. Rogue was just not thinking about it, but partings block move could have actually backfired massively.
@@oguzcanoguz5977 issue here is, you cant get 3 drones to hit a cannon that has only 1 space of not walled off area. Only at most 2. You need 3 of them Very fast on the cannon or else the drones cant kill it. And also, you can NOT mineral stack to attack buildings, and you CAN NOT mineral stack outside a mineral pocket. And also, tagging WILL work because unless parting pulls a move from diamond leauge, its way harder to lose the probe than kill it. Also killing the probe would mean less drones fighting the cannon, and you can imagine how that would go. If he pulls more drones he also gets economically behind.
