Something they never touched on but is probably the most important thing to successfully cannon rushing, is getting every mineral out of cancelling structures. Pay close attention to all the cancels that printf does in this series. First cannon going to complete? Cancel the protecting pylons. Front row cannon going to complete? Cancel the back row cannon. Then of course cancelling any structure before it is destroyed. This mineral income of cancellations is what allows the cannon rush to be so lethal, and the tech transition to start so early. Letting a pylon complete that is unnecessary, could be the difference between an easy win and a loss.
Sick advice from ketroc here! Spot on, it's funny actually on watching it back how many minute details there are that I should have asked him to elaborate on, the amount of finesse in these situations is pretty intense
For the wall off, what if the forge and pylon were switched, so if the zerg counters with banelings, you can place two gateways behind the pylon and make a solid non-pylon wall? Because we saw the cannon fall from the bane splash when the banes targeted the pylon in the gsl super tournament.
Yes, I was on 3 funday mondays back in the day. I was on both tempest funday mondays, and I was on the no anti-air funday monday (playing terran) -printf
I hate cannon rushes ... playing in Gold or now Platin League but I have to say, at this level of play. It's kind of an art already. But it would still fuck me up playing against it. :D

Unless if you're Florencio, the more resources you lose, the higher your chances of winning the game
This is my first exposure to Printf, I'm really impressed that he has good manners in game.
there was a series with him against puck in some NA small competition some time ago. He was wearing a t-shirt saying "never expand, never surrender"
We need a post-shield battery refresh :) .
yea I've been looking everywhere for one :D
interesting and disgusting
printf(" what about this printf?");

This is the Printf from way back when Day9 did funday monday, right? I think I remember seeing him get featured at least one time.

What if the Zerg gets a second base, and then uses drop overlords to carry drones to that second base?
could work, you'd have to sneak the drone out and not get caught because he'll probably just rush you there too.
A friend of mine told me about that. You always want one or two probes scouting other potential spots to expand
This is beautiful
The salt shown in some of the comments is entertaining.
Printf is goat. Really nice.
and the legend was born
aivNA avilo > aviNA avilo.
Fucking hell...
never imagined that there would be a guy like this XDD
He was probably inspired by the Icelandic genius Gaulzi!

Watching the exact same game 4 times... saying the same thing... painfully boring
