- This Zender widebody SEC is immaculate! The exterior styling is typical Zender, while the interior features a TV in the dash and speakers molded in between the rear seats. Zender is another automotive tuner from Germany that was doing incredible things with Mercedes back in the 1980s. We're very happy to have this in the collection as it will be an important piece for the museum.

I gotta give props to Patina I had no idea the Benz tuning scene in the late 80's early 90's went that deep to unearth a car like the Zender is nothing less then magical.

In a perfect world, u guys would open a additional section of the museum, with cars that Mercedes has collabed/worked on. How dope would that be? Im talking Pagani’s with the AMG engines, Mitsubishi AMG galant (even better: the brabus version) and the SLR McLaren for example. Would be awesome to see down the line. Loving the content
That interior on the Zender is just out of this world. Tan Bucket seats never looked better. Bolsters are just right, perforation on point and the door Cards with the Alcantara just exudes a 2000 ish modern style look.

My Father had a Black Mercedes 190e with a Zender Body kit on it.
I was only a small child about 6/7 years old and I can remember reading the Zender markings on the side skirts & front bumper. I loved that car and have NEVER seen another like it... It started my love for Mercedes.

Zender is/was located just a few kilometers away from my hometown. Right now, only the car dealer „Zender“ is still in business (in Mülheim-Kärlich, Germany), the tuning company ceased operations in 2008. I remember going there as a kid, when they were a Ferrari and Maserati dealership. A few years ago, they got their license for these brands revoked and are now a Hyundai and Kia Dealership. Sad to see the demise of such an iconic brand.

Much love to the Patina Collective from me in the U.K. I Lived in Germany for 5 years in the 80’s so these early tuner cars, AMG, Koenig Specials, Lorinser, Haaman and others I’ve loved for years. Keep going and in the future I hope you’ll be able to bring some of the museum on tour over here.
I always say this but even through all those incredible cars, the one that stands out is that green sec. Please do a special clip on that again.

Watching you guys build your collection is a throwback to the 80's picking up the lastest Car and Driver magazine with the Zender advertising in the back of the magazine. Cas TV gave you guys a big shout-out with your boy in England that picked up a bulletproof Benz for y'all.

My HEART has always been in 80's & 90's Benz, & I always knew the tuner scene was deep but didn't know exactly how deep. What the Patina Boys are doing is UNREAL. And Vico is always chillin hard! Reminds me to take it easy more! Respect!!
There are some Fantastic car collections on youtube like the tripple f , the Hamiltons etc but thi is by far my favorite car Collection on youtube . This channel alone has turned me into a 80s Mercedes tuners fan

Hi Andy - yes that WB Zender which you wrapped the whole coupe in black was epic. The rear rims were wearing 345 wide tires if i recall. What happened to that coupe?
@@krh007 sold it. Never seen another one come up for sale. I think this white one is from luke from benzworld before. This car i have the most regret selling such a special one it was.
