I would love it if you made like 30s long shorts that were focused solely on a single gorgeous movement. I say this because I want to enjoy and savor the beauty of these marvelous movements for as long as possible
If you work with electronics, then you would think otherwise. Not a single human being capable of making a smartwatch by hand. Even if you do somehow put one together, the programming needed literally can not exist without one of humans' greatest invention, the internet. The difference is that modern watches use modern technology and that it allows the possibility of mass production. Mechanical watches make things hard for themselves by using technology from hundreds year ago.

Lange & Söhne movements are in a league of their own; engraving, color of the metal, depth, the blueish AR coating combined provides a picture worth showcasing in a museum let alone the watch itself.
Yes but sometimes their movement looks a little boring because of that three quarters plate (or whatever that's called), but their chronograph watches and some others look amazing 😍
I'm a watchmaking student and the more i assemble, disassemble and handle all the small parts, the more i can't help but wonder just how the hell could they make these kind of technical masterpieces over 200 years ago? The Swiss should have let Seiko win the accurate mechanical watch contest back in the day. Then they woukd have not aggressively flooded the market with quartz mivement watches.
@mystic48209 That's what happens when corporations are haters. 😆 🤣 😆 the swiss didn't need to let them win. Seiko won fair and square. Europeans are haters by nature. If they can't win they will certainly make sure no one else will win.
When you work with your hands you can appreciate the craftsmanship and art work that went into these fine pieces of time making . beautiful and simply amazing.
That Breguet at the end is "only" around 37k. A lot of money, sure. But less than the aftermarket price for some Daytonas that do basically nothing. It's a great deal.
Great work as per usual King Teddy, like others here in your comment section I must agree and also request you make these micro shots of the movements as long as possible and also that you might start dedicating specific 8-10 minute feature length films on close ups of mechanical movements whilst annotating and providing knowledge and information God Bless and God Speed King.
Elaborate train sets get their movement from watch parts , I saw a train run by a stone quarry and workers were swinging pick axes all by watch parts that were under the set .
The watches with the following mechanical hand wind and automatic movements can be affordably bought: Seiko, Miyota, ETA, Selita, STP, Soprod, FTS AMERICHRON, and espicially SEAGULL (from china).

Find me another industry with this level of engineering perfection and precision! The finishing of watch parts too is highly under rated!
Particle physics
Automobiles
Ancient pyramid buildings lol

Amazing movements but that Breguet showing the movement guts in the face of the watch is breathtaking.
And the quartz killed all that art. 😂 😂😂

So happy as an owner of the Breguet Tradition 7097 to see it featured here!

Nice to see the RGM Pennsylvania Tourbillion seen in the same video as Breguets, Langes and FP Journes
