    Please tell me where you're headed on vacation and how long you intend on wearing your wig for? ☺I find 5 days of wear is my favourite because otherwise I go a little crazy with something being stuck to my head LOL. But, there has been times where I needed to keep my wig on for longer, which is how I know this method works like a charm! I hope it helps you guys too 🥹

      As a companion to this great video, can you do one about how to sleep, shower and style a wig you’re keeping on for days at a time? Plus also how to remove after? 😊 I spent a week in London this past spring and would love to know how to do all this for my next trip!

      It’s a no-no for synthetic wigs. Sleeping in your synthetic wigs will wear them out quickly. Human hair is better which is what she’s wearing. ❤

    Great tutorial Steph! Would this process for gluing be used on a bald head as well, or would you just glue directly onto the scalp without the nylon wig cap?

    • @WigsWithSteph
      @WigsWithSteph  19 дней назад +1

      @@paula-mw2ux thank you so much! 💕 I personally would just glue directly onto the scalp for a bald head 🤗 and in that case, I would only use the ghost bond glue at the front if you want it to stay for days, and not even bother with the Got2B.
      Unless you’re wanting a lesser intense glue down, one that will come off with water, you can use the Got2B in place of the Ghost Bond

    I guess I just want to know how to keep the lace front from itching. Sometimes the lace by the ear tabs itch. I want to be able to wear the wig w/o scratching, pulling and adjusting the lace front. I would love to be able to wear to work, to look more professional. I’ve learned to pull the tabs tighter, since my wigs slide up, small head and my sub occipital bones are very small, so doesn’t hold in place. Also, the one size fits all wig cap rides up also, silicone down or up. Any advice is greatly appreciated. 😊

    the center part of my wig wig looks to wiggy, I have a 40 dollar wig from Amazon. I can’t afford a 500 dollar wig. What should I do to be confident in a wig that looks too fake and what should I do to fix the wig?

    • @Ellegirle
      @Ellegirle 20 дней назад

      Depends on What about the wig makes it look fake. If it’s too shiny you can add a bit of powder to it, or if there’s too much hair you can pluck out hairs or get a lower density wig. Truthfully a $40 wig isn’t going to be great quality and there may not be much you can do to change that

    • @mariesmith1616
      @mariesmith1616 20 дней назад

      Unfortunately, the best thing would be to save some money or just ignore the wiggynes. Not all of us can afford very expensive wigs, so do the best with it.

      I bought a wig over $200 I still found it looked wiggy. I bought the color Champagne R but it was rooted n I found it looked like a wig.I developed Alpocecia areatea but I got it back .Your wig looked so natural

    • @Mexicobeanpole
      @Mexicobeanpole 20 дней назад

      It may be that it has too much hair on the top. If you’re not going to wear it the way it is, why not trying to pluck some of the hair in a “part”. The other is to get it thinned. Anyone with knowledge of cutting hair can use thinning sheets to make it look less bulky.
      Everytime I’ve felt a wig looked to wiggy it’s always been a density problem.

    • @shelmana
      @shelmana 20 дней назад +1

      If it is knots that you are concerned about you could use silicone scar tape in a flesh colour along the part line (search RUclips for reviews on this topic) and around the hairline foundation or a matt skin toned eye shadow can help. Make use of hair scarves and head bands. I have found the more I personalise with hair accessories and styling with hair ties and clips, the more realistic the wig tends to look. It's as if people think you can't style wigs, therefore it must be real hair.

      Yes, you can definitely wear it with a wig grip. Thats usually how I wear it when I’m not gluing it down. The glue is so that it will last through swimming, sleeping and showering and not budge. The glues adds the ultimate security. If you intend on taking your wig off every night, just wear your wig grip and don’t worry about the glue.
