I have been considering a wig or a topper and it's a big investment. Due to a medical condition the long wavy/curly hair people recognized me by has been rapidly thinning since I was 23 years old. I am now 46. Bosley. Serums, Toppik, root sprays, hair wax, it's never enough. The moment you're caught in the wind or a beautiful sunny day, you just see right through what you worked so hard to create. It's a painful thing, makes you feel vain and confused. It shouldn't matter but it does to me. Thank you for the advice, you seem very kind. Happily subscribing ❤
@@teelakovacs208 welcome! I’m happy to have you - I’ve been thinning for some time too and it’s not vain. Especially when your hair is something that you identify with. Happy to help anyway I can!
Thank you, this is so helpful. I have a straight wig with everything you mentioned but now I want to get a curly wig and those are the ones that seem really dense. Now I know what to look for. 😊
@@joyceberz can I ask which straight wig you have that you like? I’m wanting one but not sure if straight or wavy is my thing. And I like medium length.
Thank you so much! I’ve looked at this simmer elite and just can’t decide. I feel like I want to save my money for a human hair wig and I just don’t get anywhere making a decision.
It’s okay to be unsure! I constantly go back and forth between which wig I want to get. I did post a review of simmer elite a few months ago if that’s helpful! I’m happy to help either way ☺️
@@joshuaonofrei6984 hi there! I’m wearing simmer elite by Raquel Welch - I linked the style with a discount attached in the video description if you need it ☺️
Hi Brea, thank you for this video! I was wondering if you can say something about natural hair and synthetic hair. I always bought natural hair wigs, I tried a couple of synthetic but there were so incredibly fake-looking and I never wear them. If I understand correctly, the wig you are wearing here is synthetic but still very natural!
@@glorias1524 of course! I have both and I can tell you there are real and fake looking synthetic AND human hair wigs. Synthetics get a bad rep because of the shininess and hairline but I’ve found that if you pick colors with high lights in the front and dull the shine a bit they look just as real as human hair. Human hair has the potential to look real but large dark knots with a bad hairline can ruin a great wig and make it look fake. I hope that all makes sense! Happy to answer more questions if you have them.

@@GetWiggyWithBrea Any particular website? Where did you get the one on your head ? Also, I often wear my hair in a ponytail with no part. Is that possible.?
@ with with many wigs, you can pull the hair back into a low ponytail! I’ve done that with the wig that I currently am wearing in this video. Many ladies prefer the part because it makes it look a bit more natural. My preferred vendor is wigs.com because of their customer service and return policy. I’ll link the wig that I am wearing below, she is one of my all-time favorites! wigs.pxf.io/SimmerElite30off
It seems difficult to find low density wigs from the bigger (influencer-backed) wig companies. I know that I prefer low density wigs because they look more realistic on me and like my own hair.
I've found that if your hair is thinning like mine, any wig feels like a lot of hair but I've managed to find some really good low density styles that I wear really frequently. Happy to help you find something that suits you if you need it.
This is such a beautifully done and thorough review.👏🏼 I love the wig, it looks so gorgeous
@@jasmineclarityy THANK YOU! That is a huge compliment - and Simmer Elite is my favorite synthetic. I love her so much that I bought another one 😂
Finally, a beautiful, natural looking brunette! Hoping to see more videos! 🤍
