Every time some ak rounds come back, dude with the saw keeps getting progressively more pissed off
Joshua Pontello well wouldn’t you if you were getting shot at ?
It’s his job to make sure that they don’t fire in the first place. No enemy shots = good time for the good guys

I bet that every dude commenting on this video with 'why are they shooting at nothing?' expects a radar and objectives in the upper corners

i would agree with you.. but at the end you hear them say.. "where do you think ther at"... so the didnt have a fucking clue

Sends 500 more rounds toward enemy. Enemy responds with 3 rounds. "Oh that's it, it's on". Sends 500 rounds toward enemy. Enemy responds with 2 rounds. "Now we're getting somewhere".
My exact thoughts, actually looks like a lot of aimless rapid fire.
@@e2320483 It's not uncommon to see this sort of thing at outposts. They set up an outpost, it pisses off the enemy, and they just send rounds their way from the side of some mountain, maybe they exchange for a little while, or maybe they move and do it again. The volleying rounds back and fourth can also sometimes be distractions for ambushes or other things. These guys are heroes never the less. I just thought it was kind of funny how uneven the volley distribution was.
god americans🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️
The squad designated marksmen should be a permanent position. Even with a semi-auto. The other side have hardened troops. This is harassing fire just to piss people off, over-react and to take cover. Not to go about business as usual.

Yeah all these people saying that they are shooting at nothing annoys the crap out of me
+Crazy Raccoon Same bro
Yeah it's nothing like the movies or the video games. Often firefights just consist of letting the enemy know you're there, ie; firing at and around where you assume they're hiding. That's just my impression from watching these type of videos. Combat might resemble something from the movies when house to house or close quarters fighting is occurring. Fortunately I know nothing about real combat haha

For everyone whos saying they are wasting ammo shooting at nothing, It's actually called suppressive fire. They know the talibans general location so they're keeping them pinned down while another squad is flanking, or they are waiting for an air strike. It's actually quite effective. Most combat is fought at a distance through suppressing the enemy. Basically, the taliban has eyes on them, up on a hill behind a bunch of trees so if the americans were to move foward, the taliban would have a huge advantage. Makes alot of sense if you think about it. But in my opinion, I think they are suppressing a little too much. A little bit of a controlled burst every few seconds would probably be just as effective, but I'm no soldier so idk.
someone Who understand it too
Well, most of that "surpressive fire" is actually the guys shooting at the Taliban, it's just that with all the dust and muzzle flashes and just the sheer distance, you can't get a good sight on the Taliban they're shooting at.
Clifton Crevier who cares what it's called

Josh haha right
The fact that you actually think they're at war proves you're one of them, it's called training and they are shooting blanks, kinda like paintball but with real guns or they're just shooting at nothing, First off do you really think they'd let you go to war with a damn helmet cam? no they wouldn't, second if this was real he would not be peeking out the way he is, I mean look at it? he'd be shot in the head before he could even shoot a single shot.
And if this is real myself being an ex Belgium ground soldier i'm shoked at the way they train the men, if you walked on with a god damn helmet cam you're Lt would shoot you himself, and no way is he trained to peek like that, you don't just peek your head out like that unless you're a moron. I mean look at the guy next to him hes just putting his gun out in the open and shooting without even aiming... The last i recall only medics and pilots can have a helmet cam. if you have a brain you'll know why.
DropZ lol troll
Guy they are cheering and saying things like "Yeah!".
In a real combat you are far too busy to cheer.
not true at all... have you seen the video where a soldier got his head grazed by a sniper bullet? he survived, and the squad was all laughing that he was so lucky... they do that out of nervousness and to divert attention away from fear.

As a Marine I'll tell you what they are doing is not stupid. It's called suppressive fire. Look it up
Bennett Smith Thank you for your service.
Suppressive fire from what is a few crack thumps over their heads. The gunner is firing way to quick.....with no real sight of the general enemy position.....ripping through ammo like ten men. If you listen to the crack thump the hadji are firing sporadically to waste the guys ammo.
i wonder if you have a sniper on that current situation, while your team are suppressing, the sniper were getting ready for the head or the chest. i'm just curious what's their move from that situation. there's a possibility but i don't know i'm not a military, i'm just a gamer.
Totally agree he is going through his rounds a bit quick for a sustained contact though, I understand at the start so you can get fire superiority but you really should be settling in to 3-5 round bursts after that. Still easy to say sitting on your lounge

There is ahead of you, a room with a door, you'd need one hand to open the door, and one to swing your sword, making you the best equipped for entering the room.

You don't need to see what you're shooting at this is what a lot of real battles are, it's not like video games where you have the ability to take risks and get close enough to zero in on someone. This is called suppressive fire and it is used to keep the enemies from shooting at you, think of it are you more likely to stick your head up when bullets are hitting all around you or when someone is waiting until they spot you to shoot. There is not the option to engage enemies on a one to one basis, it's shooting where there might be an enemy and hoping you hit them instead of the other way around.
So*
If you try to find the enemy you will get headshot , just spamming bullets to clear area

Much respect for these guys.
i cant even see the enemy in all combat vids that is in real life, respect to these guys
Where's an A10 when you need one?
Fusebear Entertainment being shot down.
Danger to close
Fusebear Entertainment Never there.
Fusebear Entertainment In close quarters like this missing a shot from an A10 can be devastating
Being “replaced” by a super duper magic jet that can take off vertically, is invisible to radar, can cruise at Mach 2.5, will outmaneuver an F-15, carries more ordinance into the fight, and dispenses free blowjobs and ice cream. I’m speaking of course of the F-35. I think if the military would lower their expectations and requirements to just a plane than can go fast, has many bombs, and still delivers BJs and ice cream (maybe just at discounted prices instead of free), the project wouldn’t be over-budget.
These men are brave and most importantly badass soldiers.

Excelente video 👏👏👏
the majority of people criticizing this are kids who don't know half of what they're talking about.
Criticizing war? Or what exactly?
Wu Tang Klan still ! They could act better !
Maybe, criticizing the fact he was trying fire after forgetting to load the belt once he cleared his jam. Just a slip I mean give the guy a break he is in a firefight. Aside from that there isn't much to criticize, marines doing their job, damn fine job at that. One thing that pisses me off is how hard it is to acquire targets, if they could have located them sooner the fight would be over quick.
Always
I am sorry english is not my native language could someone explain to me what are they doing and what are they saying?
Suppressing fire with a 12 gauge...my dude. 🇺🇸🚬
What?
I heard it too
@@fearthespear4242 twords the begging you can hear what sounds like a pump action shotgun.
Suppressing fire is more for just sound so enemy is forced to take cover
That pump shotgun was probably there in case any close quarters exchanges took place.
When I was younger I would love to see combat. Now seeing this. I thank god I never did. Kids, dads, brothers and sisters, have died. I think they should get paid way more. These men and any men or woman that seen combat and made it home are hero’s.
These guys out here at war and I’m laying here eating cereal watching it
that hill is hard to kill damn..
lol
www
You say it for What Are they shooting
Modern warfare is like this. Since it's hard to see the enemy with their new tactics, you just have to guess and shoot, often at maximum range.
It's been like this since WorldWarll.
