Thanks for all the info....here in Florida we got lucky night fishing with an underwater light. I had a blast just netting them Got home an inked mess, but so very worth it...YUM.
Superb video boss , very profession crew , one of the best fishing vids for ppb , I been to Lonsdale bay for the last two trips , but got nothing , winter can be tough in that pocket , waiting for sep . By the way , is ur boat evolution 556 platinum? How does it work with offshore ? I saw u took it to cs to help cam , I have the same boat , but never take it to offshore , is it capable for offshore tuna ? And next time can you do a video for Kgw ? Great video and looking forward to see more
Hi Owen, Dan Lee's boat is a Evolution 550 cuddy, I believe. So the older model. I personally, would prefer not to take that particular boat offshore, unless the conditions were very good (5knts or less, small swell). My experience is that while it is very stable at rest, it lacks the deadrise to perform in adverse weather conditions. I am unfamiliar with your model (556) so I wouldn't be able to share an opinion on it's viability in offshore performance. All the best, and good luck on your next trip.
Ever since the pro fishermen were stopped from drag netting destroying the bottoms of the bays things are slowly coming back to normal but years ago the bay's bottom's were just a sea of mud because all the essential Weed was ripped out and destroyed buy the professional scollop fishing drag nets, we have to make sure that never happens again we have to protect both bay's from drag netting ever again.
