I just started driving, and driving at night is a huge difference from driving in daylight. I hate driving at night. This video helped me alot. Thank you and I really appreciate it.😀👍
Driving at night is hell. Especially when it's also raining. 😨😦
I'm scared the high beams freak me out
True that driving at night is a scary thing People here are very dark windows on the car 5% tint windows
@@youknowwhatflav9916 it’s worst with deer
True bro
Agree to that than its worst with some hot head person is on your ass and then when the time comes beeps like crazy and then just passes you. They can pass I’m trying to be safe not hit deers either
I hate traffic. I love driving at night.
Driving in the rain is worse night or day. I can't see the traffic lanes or turn indicators because the roads are wet and I'm left having to guess where they are.
It amazes me how many people don't turn their lights on when he sun goes down. Side note, I prefer driving at night because their is less traffic, and less morons to deal with.
I don't see to many people do that, but what i see a hell of a lot of people and I mean a lot of people don't put the blinker on when switching lanes... there's be way to many times people jump right in front of me no blinker .. it's so annoying and it pisses me off
Unless you are on the high/free way, driving at night is hell. I also preferred driving at night for that very reason until I went on the highway for the first time at night. Holy shxt. I felt very relieved to make it out alive. So terrifying
1. Slow down when driving at night. You are only able to see as far ahead as your headlights shine.
2. Clean the front windshield regularly to reduce glare.
this guy knows whats up
@@ancient_technique you doing drivers ed as well lmfao
It appears to be a growing trend in Trinidad and Tobago where drivers drive at night with only their park lights and fog (even though we don't have fog) light on. Despite warnings they continue and Police seem to go to bed around 10pm.
I performed an illegal U turn tonight because I couldn't see and ended up in the wrong lane with oncoming traffic. I feel so terrible.
Remember to clean the windscreen interior surface periodically. Polymerisation haze builds up as the dashboard reacts to UV.
I looked this up after driving from Seattle to Yreka, CA I left at 4pm and didn't get to CA till 2am. I was so nervous driving at night because the 5 fwy has no lights on the highway 😩but I made it
I am so glad this is Jim Angelo! such a relief at the end!
driving at night brings me back good memories when i used to drive hours to go see my girl and drive back home around 11 pm
Flashback in the late 00's
Driving at night sucks. I like and have learned from this video. it helped me to stay alive and protected.👍
Thank you for sharing.
Use an Anti Glare treatment on the windscreen such as proklear, will decrease glare and improves visibility. I was never keen on driving in night but after the anti glare application on the windscreen it is much comfortable.
I just got my license and I drove for the first time by myself at night . It wasn’t far but I was scared
it almost happen to me once but I wasnt making a U-Turn. I was driving off the bridge onto a divided highway and almost ended up in the wrong side then I realized and moved over kinda scary.
Thank you
Tank you
I hate driving at night.
i love driving at night lol
Damn i hate it too!
I like driving this late when I know where I'm going but not across states depending on gps
Lots of old people in Chicago drive their high beams on and night driving after work gave me headaches because the LEDs were binding me. I tinted my entire windshield to 35% ceramic tint and driving now is a joy. I’ll also tint my rear windshield.
I know I'ma sound like a nerd, but its illegal to tint your windshield
@@3MUPTonly a certain percentage and depends on the state
it used to be only during daytime in Texas, you could drive in the 70's from sunrise to sunset, now it also applies during night time.
0:38 NIGHT 65 signs used to be in place, not anymore, those "nights" are over.
Here is a tip... Get a car with xenon lights, better illumination. Just don't be an ass and blind people with your shiny lights...
Swapped my standard halogen lights for OEM xenons.
BTW: Anyone with a post 2000 german car, looking to do that swap. You probably need a Xenonsteuergerät, or the english translation - xenon control unit and a trip to the dealer to set up your new headlights.
Love my Mercedes benz clk 2.0 100kw with Xenon ;D
i love night drives but i sped through a stop sign by accident bc i couldn’t see how far i was. it was an open country road and that shit straight up spooked me… so i ain’t doing the country again. or anywhere without street lights.
There are many people out there who have a less advantage when driving during the night hours.
Tips!
1. Drive slow.
2. Use your headlights.
I always habe trouble at the stop lights at night. that's where my incident happened.
I beg to differ. Driving during rush hour is the most dangerous tine to drive, outside of severe weather conditions.
I MADE IT TO THE END OF THIS ASSIGNMENT LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I love driving past midnight 😂
It is finished
U'VE answered me : thanks so much ; my challenge was the high beams : 🤔
1:09 did they try to run over the deers? Lol 😂
Why is the proper course of action always to "slow down"? What that mentality does is slow everybody down in their commutes and ultimately male the road more dangerous. People braking randomly because they're scared because its dark is worse and more dangerous than just driving normally
So....just don;t be scared of unlighten road and hope for the best...right?
Axel Trainwagon I would rather slow down a little bit if I can't see very well than just hope for the best lol. I guess a straight road will be ok but curvy roads? shit no man.
Ok. I will drive faster and faster from today. Thank you Axel Trainwagon for your advice. I am gonna throw caution to the wind just watch me you.👍
Buy some silverstar Ultra headlight bulbs to help you see at night
Halogen bulbs are garbage. Leds are the way.
People in Trenton New Jersey dry with their highbeams on all the time they blind drivers regularly and they don’t care nighttime driving is a scary thing Use caution
I have astigmatism and drive for uber. I can't see for shit once the sun goes down and have to go home as soon as the sun sets. missing out on tons of money:(
Get glass3s or contacts
12 midnight..this is a first
ilike travel in the night
Something better that I was taught was buy your own squeegee and either decent glass cleaner or a spry bottle and put washer fluid in it. I never trust gas station squeegees because I have seen morons actually wash their cars with them and wipe off the quarter panels or gas cans after they spilled the fuel on them. You're better off with your own stuff. Plus clean the insides of the windows.
Why is he pretending to clean the windshield?
Xang day binh. Xe khong hu. Co nhieu nguoi di chung trong xe thi di duong dai ban dem rat thu vi. Troi mat me yen tinh. Hai ben duong toi thui chi co truoc dau xe co anh sang den. O trong xe moi nguoi tro chuyen. Thich nhu the !
driving suddenly is dicier
the field of vision is less
you cant percieve dips and rises as well
you can only see as far as your headlight shines
that makes it harder to see pedestrians cyclists animals obstacles in the road
It sucks probably I have to commute for school and the class is at night.
Any cyclist riding with no lights, no reflective vest with all dark colors, is asking for something bad to happen
you aren't driving safley at the beggining
night driving is ez
The only real dangers of night driving are the idiots who drive with no headlights and the drunks. Night driving is really no different than day driving, at least on highways or main city roads. Just use your mirrors like you normally would. Now, if you're driving on a long stretch of country road where there is really no street lights and lots of twists/turns then I could see that being a bit dangerous at night.
I'm driving at night today.. my first time I'm kinda scared :(
Did you live?
Phibes Lives they haven’t awnsered in 2 years...so rip xD
Rip
He posted this 11 years ago he posted 5 years later so he lived

I completely disagree...
I fucking hate night driving
Well maybe look at the road and not the fucking camera.
