A fast meal everyone eats and from pantry . Is a chicken taco soup . Canned chicken, can of navy beans, can of corn or frozen, one can rotel with lime , up to 3-4 cups chicken broth . Heat through and top with cheese, sour cream and chips on top or on the side . That’s one family favorite. Also a good hat we call “finish it “ lunch or dinner . A loose term of charcuterie, things that are about gone ,nuts ,fruits lunch meats, olives, crackers ,cheese ,fresh veggies etc goes on a big platter and we eat it up .
My fav super easy meal is potstickers with rice. Costco sells these big bags of potstickers that already come with dipping sauce. You start the rice first which is done in 20 minutes and then make the potstickers in a pan on the stove. I try to add a quick frozen broccoli as a side but if you don't have any, there's veggies and meat in the potstickers themselves. My family LOVES this.
I get so excited when your videos come up!!! It’s like seeing a friend that just makes you feel good! My go to quick meal is a copycat version of the KFC famous bowl. In a 9X13 baking dish, I layer mashed potatoes, corn, brown gravy, shredded cheddar and cut up chicken tenders ( Tyson). Then bake until heated through in an oven set to 350*. Yum
I make a version of the KFC bowl. I often make mashed potatoes to freeze. When I am making gravy, I’ll make extra to freeze. And I always have grilled cut up chicken cubes in my freezer. It’s so easy to pull out these components, add a veggie and go.
Beef Taco salad, BLT (bacon lettuce tomato) sandwiches, sesame chicken broccoli and rice Trying out your pineapple chicken from another video. And just tried the frozen garlic hack! I’m having a baby in a few weeks and I’m trying to prep using some of your videos!! Thank you!
My five year old son's most common request is "hamburger helper". He's never had the one real kind from the box, but I labeled what I made "hamburger helper" once so that's what he calls it. I use whatever ground meat is on hand and possibly thawed (pork, beef, turkey, sausage), pasta, any kind of cream sauce (usually I make a super quick cheese sauce with a roux). Often I will put home canned or frozen vegetables right in the pot, and serve it all together. That's his favorite and soooo easy and cheap!
On green onions-put them in water on your counter! Cut off what you need, they keep growing back for weeks, and they stay SO fresh that way. We left for 4th of July weekend, and when we came back, some of my green onions were a couple of feet long and falling over!
My favourite quick meal at the moment must be my peanut tofu bowl. It's brown rice with crispy sesame tofu (from the airfryer), broccoli and an amazing quick peanut sauce! 😍
My quick and easy "go-to" meal is sour dough pizza. I always have my starter on the counter. I heat up my large cast iron skillet in 400 oven, drizzle with a little avocado oil, add a ladel or two full of starter. Spread around bottom and up the side. Toss in oven for 10 min. Then add my home made sauce, cheese , pepperoni or what ever veggie I may like to add. Sprinkle with It. seasoning and back in oven for 10 min. My family loves this. Another go to is Lisa Bass' sour dough skillet. Spaghetti and chili in the instant pot are my 5-10 min meal pulls when I am really in a bind for time
I love your new chapter feature. I reference your recipes and have to waste so much time finding what I needed to verify. This will help tremendously. Thanks
My quick go to meal for dinner is ground chicken with onions and peppers, black beans and a 1/4 cup of cooked wild rice once everything is cooked I add in salsa and top with grated cheese. The greatvthing is if my meat is still frozen I pop out of the package and into my IP and pressure cook for 5 minutes and then I flip it to saute to finish cooking the meat and cook the onions and peppers. I add homemade taco seasoning to the meat mixture while its on saute. I cheat and cook my rice in the microwave. I can usually have dinner ready in about 20 minutes with this meal. I grew up eating cabbage salad and so I made for my kids to and I continue to make it for me, my husband doesnt eat it. I use to always buy the whole cabbage when all the kids were still at home now I buy the bagged coleslaw mix and add extra grated carrot, red onion and real bacon crumbles, i season with garlic and herb seasoning and my dressing is miracle whip with a bit of milk to thin it out a bit and a teaspoon of ranch dressing. Im going to try ur dressing recipe for a change.
Hi!!!! A quick meal for us is lemon spaghetti with either shrimp or chicken! It’s similar to your ricotta version, but the sauce is just lemon zest, lemon juice and olive oil.
Our go-to is taco ring with hamburger I already browned and seasoned and froze, cheddar cheese and crescent rolls. 😋 And canned black beans that I season quickly. Top the taco ring with shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes and queso.
My fast meal is a skillet meal of smoked turkey sausage, canned potatoes, onions & cabbage. Besides garlic, salt & pepper, I add a few red pepper flakes for a touch of zing.
I make what I call tortellini soup. It’s ground beef, beef broth, any veggies you want, a huge bag of frozen tortellini, a half a bag of frozen spinach. I top with shredded parm
Love your videos? Do you by chance have a video on homeschooling? I would like to find out more about how to get started with that but no idea where to start.
A fast meal is Costco chicken, rice, veggie side and coleslaw or whatever salad we have…usually have this on Costco shopping day. Perogies, sausage and veggies is another one. Spaghetti and meat sauce with salad of course. BLT’s and raw veggies or Microwave bake potatoes, steamed veggies and pan fried fish. Burgers and homemade fries. Soup and grilled cheese or leftovers works too.
Years ago when I was working, I used to get this grilled chicken breast with onions on a bed of lettuce for lunch. It was so flavorful and quick. I’ve seen it made a thousand times, tried to recreate it a million times and have made hockey pocket pucks a zillion times. How do you make chicken breast that is not dry, stays moist and turns out right every time? (BTW, that’s my go to, hence the many fails).
A fast meal I altered to make it super fast is what we call NOT fish pie. Basically it's all the ingredients of fish pie all together, but not baked in the oven. I make boiled potatoes, but in smallish dice, so they cook super quick. I pop the eggs into this pot too when theresx10 mins left, then while the spuds are cooking I make a cheese sauce in the microwave in a larger Pyrex jug/bowl. When this is cooked I dump in the tuna, and stir, one the eggs and spuds are cooked drain, add spuds to tuna mix and peel eggs, add those, put a cup of frozen peas into this if you wish, the heat will heat them through. Serve up and sprinkle shredded cheese on top. I tend to use the liquid drained from the tuna as part of the milk portion of the cheese sauce. This adds far more flavour. End of.
Hi, i was wondering how you do your canned potatore. I was lookong thru your videes😅 but did bot see itl I A quick meal I do is barbecue beef sandwich with a side of veggies . Linda in Ohio . Love your channel.
Can you link the large white flat-ish bowl that you used to hold the chicken in recipe 1 and the sausage in recipe 2? I've been looking for something just like it. Love your channel, btw!
Just started my RUclips channel journey (it is something very new to me; I'm trying to be comfortable in front of the camera). But I love to cook & bake from scratch. So, do you have any quick advice? 🦋

I loved this “20 minute meals” video. Great ideas!
Refried beans is a great way to sneak in more beans! I mix it in with ground meat for tacos and my kids don’t notice it.

Salmon patties, green beans, mac & cheese. Super simple all come from the pantry if you’re in a pinch.
Your meals are consistently winners
Some kinda taco always works here. I just love all your videos. They all looked delicious.
Thats so cool 👏👏👏 I watch you and your girls plant that patio garden and was wondering how it was going. It looks fantastic 😊

I like breakfast for dinner (pancakes/waffles with eggs) or grilled cheese with canned soup.
Hi!!!! A quick meal for us is lemon spaghetti with either shrimp or chicken! It’s similar to your ricotta version, but the sauce is just lemon zest, lemon juice and olive oil.
My go to meal is rice mixed frozen veg mixed together with cooked sausage or cooked chicken, with a sweet chilly sauce and honey xx
Quesadillas using leftover cooked protein, vegetable and cheese is my go too quick meal.
That’s a great tip to rinse the canned chicken for fresher taste. I’m going to try that!
Eggs - whatever left over protein i have - good whole wheat toast, sometimes with jelly or apple butter.
Next time you cook the stuffed sausage try cooking it whole and let it cool slightly before cutting it into pieces. Looks delicious though
