- It's late autumn in our garden, and we can observe nature is getting ready for its well-deserved winter sleep. We still have some work to do, so we need to hurry to get everything ready before winter arrives. It's also time to plant some more things to make our garden even more beautiful in the next season :)

Guys, nice job on the roses. They need a fair amount of work to maintain, but are so beautiful in bloom. December is here and that means Christmas markets! Thanks for the video ❤❤
Thank you, Greg. We'll see how it goes with the roses 😊 Christmas markets and other christmassy things, yay 😊
I love all the fruit trees and plants!
We love them too. Hopefully they will grow quickly 😊
Tommy and Peter. Thanks for another great video. ❤
Thank you for watching, glad you liked it 😊
Guys, we love how much you take us to discover spectacular places like the Cyprus trip. We must confess that the place we like most is your garden, a true "paradise". Good apples! we don't say that an apple a day keeps the doctor away (una mela al giorno toglie il medico di torno) we are very doubtful, but obviously they are delicious. See you soon R and D
Aww, thank you 😊 The garden is our oasis, our home base where we can always return from our trips 💚
Great idea to fill a small hole with water before digging more. I'll remember that one.
Hi Gary, glad we could inspire you. It really helped 😉
I like the colors of fall too.
It can be a joy to look at 😊
Talking about roots there's a quote that says: "A plant needs roots in order to grow but when a man grows he unfolds his roots and feel at home in the world".
Raw apples are not my thing, only cooked. Only thinking about it, makes my teeth feel strange.
Guys, my turtles could make the trail for you in a few hours and for free. They are like Attila, where they pass the grass does not grow again. Lol.
Always' a pleasure to watch your videos. They are enjoyable and edible.
Many thanks, Liliana 😊 You should send your turtles here, but they need to be disciplined enough not to eat other stuff (no veggies for them), only the aggressive grass 😀
Watch this space for cooked apples next time 😉😁

Great. I can't wait. Kisses.
Just missing Bitzer and Shaun! 🐑
Love you two!
We have Tommy and Peter instead 😋 Thank you 😊
You guys are so productive. Thanks for sharing. ❤❤ Always a pleasure to watch.
Thank you, Andrew. Hopefully the hard work will pay off in the future 😊
The rose garden will be so pretty. Cant wait to see it grow
Thank you, Tom. We hope so 😊
Wow lovely couple your so lucky to have this beautiful garden enjoy the peace that it provide you
Thank you very much, Ednie 😉
Your so welcome lovely couple

An interesting and good video. The fall colors are really nice in your garden. The two of you are really have been harvesting which is great and will only get better as the shrubs and trees grow and mature. It's always a pleasure to watch your videos. Thank you for sharing. Enjoy seeing the mushrooms you are able to find in the wild. We get a fairly good crop around here, but I don;t know how to identify them. I do enjoy eating them. Take care. Stay warm. Tony
Many thanks, Tony 😊 We enjoy all the harvested goodies very much but the mushrooms are always a nice surprise because you can't just plant them or anything, you have to get lucky. Here mushroom hunting has a long tradition and a lot of people do it, so over time you learn to know the common ones. Families often go with kids to forests, it's like a nice hobby, nice activity to be outside in the fresh air 😊
You guys are great farmers!
Thanks, Shelley, we try 😁
You both battled to keep from laughing, so not just me.😆
It's just you 😋
Great job fellas..Lochness Scottish Highlands..
Thank you, Neil 😊
Howdy Guys!! With all the apples you grow, I'm surprised that you guys don't press some & make apple cider! Big Hugs & tugs from Kenny Ohio USA!!!
Hi Kenny, we tried making apple cider in this video (last year):
ruclips.net/video/-rhIhVOieg0/видео.html
It was quite a fail 😀 We prefer whole apples with all the nutrients and fiber anyway 😁
It's great to see you planting, you have the space and you'll be rewarded for the effort for sure. I always say it's one of the most important things to get done, it takes time for plants to grow, so the earlier the better.👍❤
Yes exactly, the earlier the better. They always say that the best time to plant the tree is a year ago, the second best time is now 😁😊
@@tommyandpeter, your place looks so serene and peaceful! I can imagine as well how tasty and juicy those apples 😍
Thank you very much 😊🙂
how lovely! thank you for the amazing video :) you guys are so cute together :) already so looking forward to seeing snow in your future videos!! much love from the part of california that hardly sees snow :))
Thank you, we are happy you liked the video 😊 Watch this space, snow is coming 😁 In the meantime if you'd like, you can take a look at this video of ours, it's our favorite snowy one, Christmassy 😉

Lovely video guys love your fruit trees ❤️
Thank you 😉 We love them too, hopefully they will grow nicely 😊
Time to make apple butter and freeze dry some
Maybe we'll make some 😊
❤️❤️❤️
I guess it was the reference to Mossy Bottom that brought me here but I'm glad that I found your channel. Your property looks lovely, you're hilarious, and you both do many of the same things we do here on our smallholding in Australia. We're going into Summer now which is our most difficult season, so I hope that I can bring all our new trees through the hot dry conditions. I'll enjoy watching some more of your vids, thanks for sharing them.
Thank you, glad you found us 😊 It must be so different in Australia but also similar at the same time! Good luck with your summer, it's never fun when everything is too dry. We also have to water a lot during summer, mainly newly planted shurbs and trees. Sometimes we are saved by some thunderstorms but rain in summer is very irregular and random.
@@tommyandpeter yes it's the trees we planted in the autumn that need special attention during that first summer. The past three summers here have been mild but this one is predicted to be hot and dry. How much land do you have there? I'm sure I'll discover that once I watch some more of your vids :)
In "English" units it should be 1.5 acres. There is a smaller yard surrounded by buildings and then as you walk through the barn, you appear in the garden with an old fruit orchard. Further back there is a big "field" (former field where they grew alfalfa) which we are transforming to a natural garden, planting trees and shrubs and so on. We also planted many shrubs along all property lines, creating a mixed hedge with various fruit shrubs. Everything is still kinda small and we can't wait for it to grow big 😁
Yes, we also plant a lot in autumn and then the first summer is the most ciritcal one...
@@tommyandpeter oh, it sounds as though you are basically the northern hemisphere version of us!! We bought our place in 2016, 4.2 acres. It was just raw land. We have since planted many trees, including apples, pears, Nashi, peach, nectarines, plums, cherry, as well as Oaks, elms, poplars, ash. We love them all! I just imagine the day when they grow to the point we can sit under them. Anyway, I shall stop annoying you now, very happy to have found you both. Take care, Rich.
You have a great variety of trees, sounds awesome! We also can't wait till everything grows bigger 😁
If you like, you can send me one of those containers of delicious-looking apples. By the way, do you know what kind they are? You really should get an American Garden Shovel. The design is so much better!!
Sending now, check your mail 😋😀 We only know the name of one of our varieties - yellow ones are Golden Delicious, but no idea what the other ones are.
What we use is a spade. We plan to upgrade but this one works fine, it's nice for digging holes with straight-down sides.
Good Luck with the roses.... but... I can see them struggling in the future because of the encroaching grass.
(Depending on type) Many require _Constant attention i.e. powders / sprays etc. These preventives add up to $$.
Regarding the Apples. buy some caramels to melt & 'dip' the apple slices in :)
We'll see how it goes with the roses. We have big ones in the yard, mostly yellow ones and they are beautiful. We just prune them in spring but otherwise we don't do anything with them.
No buying - when we would do that, we should make our own caramel 😊
🇲🇽👋. We can picture your property in 10 years. It'll be spectacular beyond words. busy 🐝🐝🐝😃. By the way do you have any other secret channels?😎. We love you guys🩷💕
Thank you, we are looking forward to all the plants being big, it should be amazing 😊 You never know with us and secret channels 😋
Lol, who named that mushroom, or is it just my filthy mind.😂
The internet didn't say where the name came from 😀
Just hope it wasn't named after what it could do to you.😂
Well, it's slippery, the name is accurate 😋
