I noticed that the Air 2 S specs say that the drone shouldn't be operated below zero degrees celsisus (disappointing as the Air 2 was rated to minus 10 celsisus. How cold was it when you filmed the footage?

Not in the least bit excited for the 2S but way more excited to consider a DJI Pocket 3 with a 1 inch sensor since DJI tends to pair them together and leap frog them. In the order of Mavic Air/OSMO Pocket, Air 2/Pocket2. So lets hope for 2S/Pocket 3 to continue the tradition of sharing the same sensor. And with that Moaz screen competition, lets see if DJI will use that accessory port to include a flippy screen and a 1 inch sensor!!!!
The 10 bit 5.4K D-Log footage looks fantastic, some slight aliasing though but apart from that looks like 2x better than any DJI Mavic 2 Pro footage I've ever dealt with. No terrible sharpening artifacts but huge amounts of actual detail this time.
Will be ordered soon!

Morning Tom, once again a very informative and to the point video. I always enjoy how relaxed you are out and about. I do have a question, you touched on the ABSB and in the video you seen it operated. I thought it was functional only in the States?
3:42 I see you control your drone with your thumbs. Try using your fingers with your drone. You'll find that there is more control over time and you can still use your middle fingers for the zoom dial and the picture/record button. Love your content!

What good is 5.4k considering most monitors are at best limited to 4k. So you would never see the difference unless you were on a 8k monitor. Am I missing something?
Hi, but it gives you possibility to crop a bit in editing without loosing video quality.
Hey Tom, nice video but what about the CE label for Europe. I don't hear anything about that so I'm afraid this drone won't have a label so after January 1, 2023 it will fall into the A3 category and then you won't have much use for it.
And what about ADS-B for Europe, is that actually included or is that only for the American market like the Air 2?
No CE label. So it's pretty useless in Europe.

I saw somewhere that the MA2 batteries work in this. It would be awesome if the controller does as well. Anyone who can test this? I’d rather not have to spend another grand on a drone, when I can just buy it separately and use my existing controller, batteries, etc.

Processing seems to have changed entirely. Swapped the heavily filtered and oversharpened Mavic 2 Pro processing with actual detail and texture it seems.
Doesn't work with the Controller yet? You should mention that! Flying with your phone is a pain.

there is a firmware update for the smart controller to work with the New Mavic Air2S
@@pc-easy yes there are, the first Mavic, 1st MAir and the Spark
5 minutes less flight time than the Air 2 in parallel flight both with new batteries.
the 2 new front sensors + bigger camera sensor + ads-b sensor are power hungry and need high processing power which leads to more power consumption and heat - all in all lot less flight time
Smart controller is now supported even though a occusync 2 device. Good to know but why did they not support the goggles racing edition that also is based on ocusync 2 ?
My decisions: I got Mini 2, Air 2 and FPV drone ... and sold them all one after another to get rid of the below standard products.
I do not support dji who are unable to deliver legally and safe apps from the app store.
Xiaomi solved the issues in the US, dji did nothing and became a virus risk for us ... no app store offers the latest apps.
I do not buy .. but I ordered a fimi and a parrot disco instead. I can pile my money and wait while enjoying Mavic 2 Pro and goggles.

No side obstacle sensors, no C-classification for use within Europe. No, thanks.
