    I lost 50 pounds in 5 months on Keto with intermittent fasting and am back to 180 pounds. As a 62 yr. old man of 5 ft. 11 in. I look and feel much better. I plan on maintaining this lifestyle forever.

      How do you over come the constipation on keto or is it just me and my body can't do it. Tried for a month and was constipated through out. Did you have this problem? I gave up dairy that helped abit but still there.

      Long term keto lowers the bodies ability to use all the testosterone. More Plates More Dates talks about this. You need carbs, I'm just not sure how much.

      @@wajn4785 I started using apple cider vinegar with lemon juice and water after an episode of impaction constipation after I started keto ......traumatized and scared the heck out of me

      @@marklenhay5903 eat lot of raw veg salads with salt + limejuice/citric acid and vit C. If you are acidic use baking soda 1/2 tsp with water 4 - 6 times a day before or after food not during eating

    I had a heart attack Dec 3 2020 and now it March 13 2021 and I have been eating 1 meal a day and doing keto with the girlfriend and I lost 64.5lbs so far and I feel great. It's unbelievable the change in how I feel.

      I had a heart attack 3 weeks before you. Dr. told me specifically to stick with the Mediterranean diet, stay away from Keto (I even asked clean Keto?). I really dont trust many Dr's anymore. I am going to start a clean keto diet.

    My husband was diagnosed with diabetes 2 at the beginning of last year. Came away with tons of pills from the doc. We decided that he was not going to take any and start keto. One year after he is not a diabetic and the doc told him he did not need meds. The things is he never took the meds. We still eat low carb but not on strict keto.

      @@catrinaitaliano8755 Yes. We are keeping it up but he is now allowed 1 cheat day of carbs. He no longer eats sweets he was an addict, had 1 can of soda, cookies, icecream. None of that these days.

      Open to accepting evidence is good, but concluding that any evidence that corresponds with an anecdote is conclusive proof of a healthy diet is very, very dangerous. There are a myriad of reasons why this particular case showed the results it did.

Obviously a one person sample isn't going to convince anyone with questions but it is a start for a baseline in which someone may postulate a theory and seek funding for research, right? You're obviously not convinced. However, logically, one meal a day and fasting aren't that farfetched. Many, many animals don't eat each day. Humans have no always eaten each day, I'd assume, particularly in pre-civilixatipn before food storage and preservation became a known process.
      Then you have the mice studies showing the benefits of consuming less calories than you burn on molecular aging.
      Why does this surprise you?

      @@danielcisco Actually, it's the other way around. I had a chronic depression since I was 3 years old (yeah, long time), but since I started cutting carb my depression is gone. It only comes back when I intentionally or unintentionally eat carbs.

    I went carnivore last summer for about three months. I work in heavy construction and I dabbled in some power lifting, so I got pretty jacked and strong at about 5'7", 155 lbs, and 46 years of age. I was singling roofs 8 hrs a day, ate mostly liver, steak and eggs, and once a day. However, as the holidays progressed, I went off my dietary practices, ended up getting injured twice on my job, suffered depression, yada yada. Actually, the whole experience has lead me to ultimately loose my house through financial difficulty, long story short. But, I'm picking myself back up! I've been watching a lot of Mark Bell and Dr. Shawn Baker. Its inspirational. This video is inspiring, and I send out a thank you to all those people who work there ass off to give people like me some info. I've come back to my carnivore practice about a week ago, and my life and mind set is already improving. Thanks again.

    At the age of 50, I'm obese, my knee crackles when I got up. In just one day of 18:6 window, the pain decreased logarithmicaly. I was so amaze that I started to research why. I've found out that fasting reduces inflammation and induces autophagy. Now, I'm in an OMAD strategy and working to run a marathon for Moody church.

      If you are planning to run a marathon, maybe that’s what you’re doing already but if not, you may want to look into the zero carb or very low carb diet close to full carnivore, because eating plant matter can be deleterious to joints (among other things) as you get older. But beware ! I ran my first at age 44 and got addicted... working on #33 at the age of 63. Good luck and kudos for actually researching and pushing through!!!

    I've been on low carb for 18 months with the first 6 months strict keto since I was 49 years old. People said I looked sick and some thought I had cancer as I had lost 25kg in 10 weeks. My cholesterol, arterial calcium score and blood sugars are ideal. Its not so much about how you look, but ideally how you feel. If people don't like what they see, then they should take a look at themselves, as most of the people who thought I looked sick are obese. The one thing I love most about low carb is the mental clarity, no more brain fog and a feeling of well being or calmness. I'm sure most of you here feel the same way.

      True I also felt the mental clarity and focus. Also my eyesight improved after doing low carb. I used to have issues with seeing at long distance. Now it's not perfect but much better.

    What's common isn't normal. Being over 30% body fat is common but not normal. Being at 10-15% IS normal but unfortunately not common.

      Except that when women's body dat goes below 21%, menstruation stops and fertility drops, estrogen levels drop. These things need fat to be normal. Maybe this is one reason we need breasts and butts.

    Deanna, the astonishing mental clarity has been my experience as well with keto and IF. If I was like this in my 20’s, my life trajectory might have been completely different. I didn’t have the the ability to retain information the way I have now. It’s really amazing!

      I agree that more need testing to prove it works. I am just starting carnivore (really very low carb at the moment) and I would love to know where I am now and in five/ten years. I just cant afford this type of testing outside of medical need.

    Thank you for the video! I am a professional football (soccer) player, currently playing in the UK. This is so alien to most of the people I work with and I see it as my own "superpower". I don't rely on food any more and I just eat when I am hungry (doing OMAD Carnivore) and people don't understand how I don't get tired or how I can keep hitting PB's in the Gym without food. My dad has started doing Keto since he's had his heart attack a few years ago and has lost a around 10lb and is off some of the medication he was on immediatly after the heart attack. Thank you for sharing this video and it was particularly interesting to see the difference between your bodies and Raj's.

    What a wholesome doctor... He was so open to different ways of living, different lifestyle choices, and was very quick to praise the benefits that he saw. Particularly because he's SEEN with his own eyes over and over again what high performance humans look like, literally from the inside out.

      Kathleen Byers I started with a 16/8 fast while trying to do a clean keto diet. Added good fats like coconut oil, grass fed butter. I also cut back on vegetable oil and stuff with soy oil. Most importantly, I was consistent. It took about 6-7months before I didn’t have to take b/p meds.

    I started Keto and intermittent fasting (not strictly doing it) about 80 days ago, and my weight went from 140 kg (308 lbs) to 126 kg (277 lbs) and still going down. I have never felt better, my ADHD is almost gone, mental clarity is amazing! and my hunger is gone! for the 1st time in my life, i am not hungry every hour of the day! i just did a 42 hours fast (only water and black coffee) for the 1st time and i loved it. This is the only (dietary life style) that i felt comfortable doing and planning on staying on for the rest of life, God willing.

    Did OMAD for 6 months...lost a lot of weight that started several months before but the OMAD really changed me!! my friends statred telling me how I was " too thin" and looked sick....I bought into it and several expensive med tests later that said I'm healthy (at 74) ..I will take my very lean body!

    I was mostly meat at 75 years old and low carb a few years. I was surprised I added on noticeable muscle with changing up my activity. So I like this and really feel better at 76 now then I did at 70. ❤

      Meats (especially red meats) are high in creatine and creatine is highly recommended for the elderly to put on muscle and stop or slow down wasting.

      Hope you reach up to a hundred mate. My grandpa reached 108 years old before he passed in his sleep and believe or not, he can still walk and talk during that time! (albeit walk slowly). His mind was still sharp. His heart just stopped beating in his sleep. Before he died he said that he's going on the other side and he'll be waiting. (told us to be good grandchildrens). We cried a lot because we knew that granddad was saying his goodbyes. He kissed us all in the head and gave us lectures on how to be good people by loving and helping one another. Sorry sir, I'm just rambling here now haha I miss my grandpa.

      @@pauldolton9118 Running/sprinting. Almost any exercise Rep until failure. The objective is to Jack up that heart rate hard and fast. I like to wake up, start with light stretching than jump right into 100 pushups in one go and than right after, 100 sit-ups, no breaking.

      @@MiggsMultiple Carbs are amazing to fuel high intensity workouts. If you are an athlete looking for maximum performance, then eat carbs. They obviously are not harmful if your metabolism is healthy.
      But for people with metabolic problems, going low carb until your metabolism fixes itself can be a good idea. After that, eat carbs again.

    Vegan Diet did that a month, had migraines, bloating, constipation, low energy and felt like hot garbage. I did Keto for 3 months felt fantastic, had lots of energy, mental clarity of someone half my age.

      Wonder what you ate. If I eat processed carbs, I don't feel great either. Vegan for 7 years here and I only feel what you described if sugar is too high because it feeds the wrong bacteria in the gut. I eat clean plants, I feel clean and have low body fat. I don't need keto 👍

    I am eating the same as you guys (4 years keto/5 months carnivore, mostly OMAD) and am getting the same results at age 62. I train and work hard physically every day but keep it fun. Not a hint of injury or inflammation which were huge problems on high-carb plant-based.

    I was diagnosed with fatty liver 21cm
    After 3 months on keto and if

Worst case scenario if it makes you feel better boil some eggs. One egg raises you about thirty points. Your glucose.

    The healthiest thing for Deanna might be as simple as not reading social media comments and letting it affect her self esteem etc. The fact that the radiologist would have guessed her age at 16yrs based on muscle mass, organ health and bone density says tons.
    I wonder how important having more body fat really is for women, outside of trying to get pregnant. If you feel great and are healthy why change.
    If the concern is purely aesthetic, replenishing muscle glycogen and the subsequent water retention helps look a little softer/youthful/less defined without really adding any body fat, simply adding a bit of fruit or starchy carbs after 2-3 days of working out and eating low carb might be worth trying (hell, if you lift hard enough you could eat a normal dessert as a first meal - post workout, and your muscles will absorb it all as glycogen with minimal blood glucose/insulin elevation).
    Overall this is great evidence for a fasting & low carb lifestyle... Thank you both for doing this and sharing with the world.

      @@deannamutzeldc6314 Sorry to ask a personal question, but has your menstrual cycle ceased its normal function? This I hear is a common side effect of the super athletic female. It's not entirely natural, to my way of thinking. A woman's body fat is there to provide for growing babies. Running on 'super lean' is akin to running your car around on that last gallon of gas, perpetually.
      I had a bout of flu lately and lost about 4 pounds quite suddenly. I can still afford to lose maybe 15 pounds, but I'm not in a hurry about it, because you never know when you'll actually need to call on some reserve.

    Great video and incredibly informative. I’ve started my journey last year after putting on an additional 20 pounds on a frame that was already obese, from eating the recommended six meals a day. I’ve been playing with keto and IF and OMAD. I’ve lost over 40 pounds, improved my asthma, I haven’t had debilitating migraines after my body made the switch.     I was insulin dependent and my sugars were even with 180 units over 300 now after fasting and cutting almost all carbs and eating mostly meat and fat I've gone from 240lbs to 210lbs in a month or so and first week 250 sugars fasting next week 230 next week 184 this week 150 and after I eat, it goes down to 120. So on my way to being diabetes free! It works fasting and eating high protein foods and high fats. I still eat green veggies.

    I've been keto and OMAD for the last three years (I'm 63 years old). I eat mostly a lot of chicken (with skin), eggs, cheese, a fair amount of spinach, butter, olive and avocado oil and some sausage. That's not quite carnivore, but it certainly fixed a LOT of health issues for me. I've only recently started to properly exercise, about a half-hour a day of bodyweight resistance callisthenics. I am hoping to make that a permanent habit. Certainly, it would be good to increase the variety in my diet, but with me, it's highly budget dependant. I could probably get away with adding liver if I could find a source I could trust. I do add some supplements, mainly 4 grams of fish oil and 10,000+ IU of vitamin D with some vitamin K added daily.
    I also throw in the occasional 47 hour fast by skipping a meal here and there. I've been known to do 95 hour fasts as well (skipping three meals).
    My intent is to avoid dementia and load the dice to a better than even chance of making it to my nineties.

      Butchers generally have liver for cheap. I buy it at Publix in the frozen aisle on the East Coast, they have grass fed liver for a really reasonable price, but organ meat is usually cheaper than other cuts because it isn't a popular thing to eat generally, so any butcher should be able to help you out

    Been doing this eating regiment along with working out 3-6 times a week (30-120 min/workout) for nearly 1 year. I've lost 30 lbs., gained a lot of muscle (don't know how much but can lift a lot more now than a year ago). I received my test results from my physical yesterday this morning. My BP is down from around 145/75 to 115/60. My LDL is down from 85 to 63, all metrics are well within normal to excellent ( a far cry from a year ago). I have not lost much weight in the past 2 months (maybe a pound or two) but I have been having to pull my belt tighter and tighter to keep my now oversized pants up. :) I also have been drinking a little apple cider vinegar every day and the best part, I just went through the first ever winter with absolutely no sickness. Everyone around me has had flu and colds on and off all year. I have not had so much as a sniffle. Not bad for a 56 year old male who hasn't always taken the best care of himself.

      @@Worteltaart why would you eat them? There's apparently nothing in them that's necessary, and precious little that's even desirable. The micro nutrients are barely assimilable, proteins are usually bound by lectins, we only need about 10% of the vitamin C that we are told we do, and there is good evidence that fiber is NOT a nutrient. The idea that plants are universally healthy and innocuous is incorrect. One could make your own argument in reverse. Why would one insist on consuming matter which is unlikely to be nourishing and is likely to have detrimental effects?

The plant isn't trying to nourish you, it wants to hijack your digestion! Just because it looks and smells good does not mean it is healthy food. Just because an animal can exist on a particular food for a period of time does not mean it is indicated or optimal nutrition. Most mammals, starting in a healthy state, can subsist on a suboptimal diet for quite a while, (that is a survival advantage) that doesn't mean they will be healthy. Why consume sub-optimal (at best) nutrients when the best is readily available?

Frozen mummified remains of pre contact Inuit show advanced coronary artery disease in their thirty's and forty's. It makes sense that diet has something to do with it, but there are probably genetic as well as social components. Which brings into question exactly how effective the diet would be on its own. And the fact that the "blue zone centenarians" would not eschew vegetables does not mean plant foods are optimal or even desirable. There was once a time when the US government recommended feeding sucrose to sick children. Just because they wholeheartedly believed they were doing the right thing didn't mean they were.

      yes in my early teens and through 2 children until my 40s i had approx 4% body fat and could eat anything all day if i wanted ( i did OMAD) not by design, but that was all the time i had to eat. I was at the gym every day (plus instructed a few aerobic classes) now in my 60 still exercising but have put on 20 kg over the last 10 yrs. Also dealing with brain bleed and stroke now, but still increasing my strength and watching what i eat now. We dont expect medical events in our lives when we are fit, but there you go!

    In November of 2019, I did strict keto until about April, of 2020, when our country was forced into isolation. I quickly lost 20 lbs. then got bored with being at home and started eating some bad carbs. I gained 10 back. I re-started keto in January this year and got back to the 20 lb. loss, plus about 10 more. In the past 2 months, I've added carbs, but the crazy thing is that my weight is staying the same. Several people have noticed the weight loss. I do OMAD and don't get hungry. It's the most successful diet I've been on in my life.

      I felt my testosterone going down on 2 years of kito and intermittent fasting. I stop intermittent regularly and started loosening up in my Kito, added bananas occasional carbs, and 3 meals a day, and now testosterone is back up. I feel better.

    Man, I am 60 days into Carnivore, I've loss 21 pounds, drastically reduced body inflammation, joint and low side body ache gone, acid reflux/gerd gone. I just eat and snack on meat until I am full everyday.

      Right on. Similar for me, I some times say i quit cake to save my feet. Tilts heads but diabetes takes lots of body parts. I don't miss cake.

    I've been doing kito/palio for a while, not so strict. Mainly cut sugar and bread, I have a 8 hour eating window and do occasional extended fasting. I've had great results, I haven't been this light since middle school. Bmi 20 bf 13% lost 55 lbs, and I've never felt so good.

    Thanks for this video, I’m 64, Celiac and was doing Keto for two years and lost a lot of weight. I did Carnivore for 5 months and because of bad information switched back to Keto. Sweetheart, you have sold me 👍🏻 OMAD Carnivore now.

      @@chrisom4699 The information stated that you can’t live on meat and animal produce alone or indefinitely. The Carnivore Diet supposedly upsets your blood by increasing your Cholesterol, Blood Pressure, it depletes your minerals and in general causes long term damage. It only causes damage to Dr’s as they won’t be able to make money out of you anymore!!! 😉

      That's not how biology works. If people find a hyper low fat person unattractive it’s not because social normative standards it’s because thousands of years of biology have told them that somethings wrong with that person. people with extremely low body fat would do very poorly in extreme survival situations. they are far weaker than people with around 20% body fat. Preparing for missions in special operations we would try to bolster our body fat up to 18 or so percent before we left to increase our insulation and our ability to go without food. there’s probably also a perceived narcissism that comes with people obsessed with low body fat and attention that is repulsive to many people. Lastly, especially with human women, body fat in proper proportion is extremely attractive and if you remove that, something looks very unhealthy about the woman, from a reproductive health point of view. Enjoy whatever you like but it’s also reasonable to understand what people perceive and why.

      @@jay-by1se I totally agree. If she gets sick in any way, she has no fat depot to cover that and will quick get really bad. Going to lose all that muscle tissue really fast because it burns too much energy, you will need to recover. It is not healthy to have literally no fat at all in your body. When I had to have an appendix surgery as a kid, I was sitting on my bones after three weeks of hospital, my boyfriend lost 15kg of fat after a week of high fever (corona). How should someone cope with that without fat? Turn into a skeleton?

    This video was awesome, thank you! I admit to being one of your followers who was thrown off by the change in Deanna's appearance. I wondered if something had happened and the pursuit of healthy living had crossed a line at some point. You guys live your lives publicly which gives the public who "know you" a sense that it okay to question/share feedback publicly as well, even when the feedback isn't always positive. I'm sure that can get annoying and isn't always easy to shake off. I know some referred to anyone with doubts as "haters" but I question the accuracy of that description...confused, uninformed and concerned could also be accurate words to use. I think your family is amazing. This video taught me SO much and I'm thrilled to know I was wrong and I'm inspired to make some changes based on what I learned here.

    I'm on OMAD 2 months and my metabolism is so balanced I rarely get hungry, I mow 3/4 of an acre, exercise, and bike around town. Before that I was 18 /6 a day fasting for over a year. My daily meals are average for most people. Not loosing fat or muscle. Berberine and ACV before breaking fast.

    On keto and mostly omad I lost 42 pounds in six months, don’t feel at all deprived, stopped two BP medications with only one to go and although I drank little wine, even a little caused inflammation. I have more energy, muscle, clarity of thought and feel great. Easy lifestyle. I’m keeping it.

    This scanning tech is incredible. No more guessing, you get to stare at your insides. I believe it will help drive a revolution in nutrition. Meds will fall off as root causes are attacked via corrected nutrition. Love the accompanying music - it's progressive sound nicely matches the tech...

      I understand where the anorexic comments come from. If you just see her face you might jump to that conclusion. But then you should notice her bulging neck muscles and think otherwise ;-)
      It depends very much on how much of her body you can see.

      @David Mc Well, I'm Dutch and 45 so I wasn't around during the war, but I have seen pictures from concentration camps prisoners of course. I didn't say anything was wrong with her face. I said I can understand the comments if you just see her face. Her cheekbones stick out and her jaw bone has a sharp edge to it. That is normal if your bodyfat percentage is that low. However, if the rest of her body is covered you have no other visual clues. Then you can't see her muscles and some people might conclude anorexia.
      By the way, what made you think I'm a woman???

    The fat around the liver is easy to fix with Keto and intermittent fasting. I did that in three months. I mean I took the MRI 3 months later I started the KETO and I knew that I have a fatty liver from the previous MRI. So lots of benefits from doing Keto but you gotta do it right so that it becomes your lifestyle. You change that lifestyle and start eating junk food you will get all the problems back.

      Well yeah, but the same can be said for pretty much any healthy diet. I'm DEFINITELY a huge fan of Keto, but people can and are healthy when following certain other diets too. Ketovore just makes me feel mentally SO much better than any other diet and I never feel hungry.

    The ketogenic diet with if cured my bad nafl, lost 53 kgs n feel great. I started the carnivore diet a week ago and love it and feel great and feel as if i am 30 yrs old. Weight loss started again on the carnivore diet. I didnt plan to go on the carnivore diet, but actually 'felt' my body as if saying to me to progress to it. I am a 56 yr old woman.       Low-Fat Whole-Food Plant-Based eating is probably the best approach, to be frank... [Eschewing highly processed foods, oils, fats, sugars, in favor of whole plant-based foods with all the vitamins, minerals, protein, fiber, etc., intact.]
      Not to mention that filling up on calorie-dilute plants [fruits, veggies, beans, etc.] means there's less room for high-calorie and processed foods, thus keeping daily caloric intake generally lower versus far more densely concentrated calories in e.g. processed oils, sugars, animal fat, etc.

      To avoid the keto flu never drink anything out of plastic containers . Drink water out of glass bottles. I caught the keto flu Everytime I did keto except for this time around. I started drinking out of glass bottles about a month before I started keto and I bypassed the keto flu. The keto flu is caused by your body dioxins in the dioxins out of your body which comes from plastic. I don't even use plastic utensils

    I started my carnivore diet on February 6, with a 36 hour fast and weighing 275 pounds (6'3" and 63 years old). I clocked in this morning, March 16, at 249 pounds, and I feel great. I've lost a couple of inches in my waist, already, at least. To say I am happy is an understatement. And, the best part is, my cravings for junk food are gone, I enjoy what I am eating (all meats, and some fish, lots of chicken livers, and some cheese and eggs) and I really don't see why I can keep this up the rest of my life (when I cheat, it's just Keto stuff like I put some avocado on hamburger meat) . I'm excited about getting back to my college weight of 200 pounds as my goal.

      @Donald J. Trump yeah there certainly no reason to check your weight everyday. Because it does fluctuate up and down. It's like watching the stock market and watching your stocks go up and down and panicking over it. What's important is what happens over the next 6 months or year. But congratulations to you too!

      If you stay the course, you will go beyond 200 lbs, getting to very healthy body fat percents. I have lost over 40 lbs and kept it off. You should allow yourself a cheat day , I take mine on saturday, which is the day I allow myself to have some pizza and Italian food.

      That's awesome! I like how I can go all day without so much as a snack and feel just fine. No more desperate hunger or grain brain. This may seem small, but i noticed that the morning eye crust everyone seems to get had disappeared from my mornings. I have no need to rub my eyes and there's no more waking grogginess.

    This was an incredibly important video for me, thank you. About 7 years ago after a near-death experience (handful of widowmaker strokes and hundreds of TIAs for about 2 years) I was going to enter a Buddhist monastery. My age (I was approaching 50 at the time) and medical health disqualified me from the three monasteries I applied for.
    While initially, I was gutted, I realized that I could still dedicate my life to the dharma. So, I tried to live a lifestyle as close to a monk's as I could. I immediately became a vegetarian and then ate a monk's diet: one meal at midday, nothing else to eat.
    I've been athlete my entire life, I did combat sports, i.e. MMA, boxing, wrestling, Muay Thai, etc. as well as lifted weights - both Westside training and Dinosaur Training, i.e. kettlebells, clubbells, sand bags, dock chains, chopping wood, etc. Since I was 14 I've been doing this and now I am 53. I say all this to provide context: I weigh 195lbs, very muscular, 5'11" and while you can see my abs, since I was about 40 I've begun to get a little weight around my stomach. It just refuses to go.
    So, while that dispels the myth you can't maintain muscle mass eating once a day, I couldn't understand why that bit of insulin resistant fat on my stomach would persist.
    After I was discharged from the hospital in 2017 after almost a month of learning to get some of my ability to talk, write, count, tell time, stand, know where I was and what year it was, tell the difference between a fork and spoon, etc. I dove rabidly into getting my health back using all the training I had been doing all my life, but now with a different diet. I wanted to increase my understanding of health so I could improve it.
    I held fast to the vegetarian diet for religious reasons, but it didn't do much to improve my blood tests results in some areas. The past 6 months I've realized it's all the carbs and that there is no way around it. So, I have been considering the Keto diet to see if it would change anything.
    In 3 weeks I've lost 10 pounds and now you can see six of my abs and all of my lifts have gone up a little - I feel stronger. That was just using partial-Keto as I still have cupboards, freezer, and fridge full of fruits, vegetables, pasta, etc. Thursday, I'll take my BP.
    Another three weeks of partial-Keto (about 70% meat for my one meal) and I will compare this blood test, my BP, etc. with all of the ones from 2017 on. I've had literally dozens, maybe 50 or more. I will compare them with the most recent and make a decisionwhether to continue to be a vegetarian or make the switch fully.
    Sorry, that was a novel but I want you to know how powerful this video and your channel's content is, and I'm hoping that someone will read my story and get something beneficial from it.

    I'm about a month into keto/carnivore and the changes have been dramatic so far. My hunger control is what surprises me so much. Prior to starting, I HAD to eat every couple of hours. If I didn't, I almost went insane and could only think about food and how to get it, then I would get it and overeat like some starving monkey. This led to me getting to about 315 pounds. Since I started keto/carnivore, I'm now closer to 280 pounds and I tend to forget to eat. I eat maybe 2-3 times a day now and the meals have maybe 200-800 calories each. I've been sleeping a lot better. Prior, it would take me 2-4 hours just to fall asleep, then I would sleep lightly, and it would take 2-4 hours to "actually wake up" after waking up. I typically felt like crap the entire day. Now, I actually get tired at appropriate times, go to sleep easily, wake up easily (the last two weeks I've routinely woke up before my alarm went off), and have a bit more energy to work with. My joints hardly hurt anymore. Overall, I have been amazed. The positive changes have been so good that despite the extra cost to the food budget, I'm probably going to stick with it for the foreseeable future. I want a lean and healthy body, but even I would be eating more if I were as thin and lean as this lady. My only real worry about being THAT thin is what happens if you get sick? I once got sick with a type of flu and didn't eat for three weeks. I lost about thirty or so pounds during that event. If I were already super lean, that could have killed me. For the first time in some years, I can stand straight up, look down, and see my privates. For those starting keto, the keys I found are fat and salt. I had a hard time getting enough fat and salt the first week and it was rough. After I got that under control, it was much easier.

      I used to frequently have throat infection, but after intermittent fasting, I rarely fall ill. So I guess, probability of falling ill is less, and you should recover fast in case of illness. People manage to do 30 days water fast, so it's safe to say our body has enough to survive for a considerable period of time.

    Was At 220 pounds. I now weigh 150 pounds. Only protein and veggies with minimal berries. I feel better then I have in years. More active than I have been in years. My sugar addiction is finally under control.

    Compelling - first time I've seen you guys - you look great, outside and in. I was so sick I could barely keep down food - fatty liver, jaundice, 265lbs - started doing medical medium Liver Rescue, and just felt/digested better going all raw vegan.
    9mos later, lost 65lbs (no overt exercise, was just glad to be able to work again), depression and anxiety gone, feel great, sleep well, blood tests better and better.
    Like many others said in the comments, it would be great to see some noteable vegans scanned as well.
    Drug tests and financial interests should also be compared.
    Large scale long term studies would be even more scientifically sound and compelling.
    It's tough staring at death and looking for help in a world where so many people are willing to go to great lengths to con you, smile, and take your money.
    I'll keep doing what works for now - good looking video! Very curious to see what the future holds for keto.

    I have seen a similar scan of an Australian man who was on keto and his body scan shown there's has not much fat at all in his body. He's very athletic. It's quite amazing. He did a full body scan because he was refused an insurance policy from all insurance companies just because his cholesterol reading was high.
