No nades in the pack unfortunately. They really should have a dedicated grenade slot though. 2 pockets just isn’t enough when you got plot items, health, and grenades all going in them... I take to just tossing piles of items to where I’m headed constantly in case I need them 🤣
Grenades I only carry up to 2 if I feel like I really need them more than health. I used to carry a grub too but as far as I’ve seen so far there’s never been a health station that didn’t already have one in or near it so I use that pocket for something else now. Wish we could steal one of the combine grenade bandoliers.

The only thing keeping me from buying a vr headset is the price that comes with it. I don't know many people that have a quick couple hundred to a thousand dollars just laying around.
Yeah, same. If I had that kind of money I would've already had a better PC and gotten myself the most modern VR headset available. Alas, I've only got a couple dollars to my bank account's name :(.
At minimum, I got a pre-built omen from bestbuy on sale out of box for 1000 and spent the 400 on occulus rift s. It took a while but once I got the pc running it becomes "how loose are your morals on pirating". And I bet I could have done it cheaper if I bought the parts piece meal on cyber Monday and put it together myself

That's because it's Macedonian, not Russian. Macedonian uses Cyrillic but also has it's own unique letters and uses some Latin letters, too, including J and L. Macedonian still has some leftover quirks from Greek, so it isn't exactly the same as other South and East Slavic languages. Most of the translations will be the same or very similar, but the words you're saying aren't translatable are, but you're using the wrong language.

@@carstairstv4700 do you refer to just the words that use letters that aren't present in the Russian alphabet (to which NuclearRollton alluded in the 6th example they gave in their comment) or to all the words that can be seen in different signs and posters throughout the game? Because it's definitely not all Macedonian. Besides Macedonian, some of the signs have Russian words in them and I noticed at least one type of signs that are in Bulgarian (one of them can be seen in a Pewds' video [the 1st part of his playthrough], at 27:31: "Не пипай. Опасно за живота"). So it's not just one language, but a combination of a few languages. (I don't think you meant it's all Macedonian, though. Just making things clear here.)

Overwatch Nexus is actualy the building of Serbian national asembly, and belgrade has many french (renesaince) style buildings. Playing the game myself, I have consistently checked every bucket and open hazardous materials tub and I can tell you, there really isn't much to be found in any of them. I keep telling myself to stop wasting time checking every one when there's never anything in them, but I keep holding out hope that one day it'll happen!

Hey Jack, for the record, once you have closed your fist to select something to be pulled by the Gravity Gloves, even the slightest motion will send them flying towards you, so you don't have to yank your arm all the way back to get something. Try flicking your wrist or quickly turning your wrist over instead, it's nice and low profile and feels great!
Edit: Oh, another tip, you can see how much reserve ammo you have for your current weapon by looking at the back of your left hand; you already know that, of course. But you may not have known that that ammo counter will display how many resins you currently have if your right hand is empty. Okay, good hunting!

The whole City 17 is made in the style of eastern Europe as a whole. As far as I know, the designer himself is from Bulgaria. But in general, it is a mixture of many cities of the former USSR. Due to the architecture, it is impossible to say exactly where the events of the game take place. In HL2, the inscriptions in City 17 were mainly in Bulgarian, but in this game almost all the words are Russian.
If you have seen videos from other youtuber - there is a earth globe near the beginning of the game (Alyx room). And if you rotate it, is is marked area of Ukraine. USA is crossed with an X. Dont know why?
@@TheArtanis7 don't know exactly, but i think that US was completely destroyed to prevent further fighting against the Combine in seven hour war. The Combine found out about Earth after the incident in BM because of the portal storms, so maybe because of these storms America was in the area of invasion.
And actually marked area is not Ukraine, but Russia. But the architecturure of City 17 is more Bulgarian, Baltic and Ukrainian + commieblocks, which are in all cities of the ex-USSR (believe me, i'm from Belarus and live in one of these).

For me the issue is that shops in my country ramp up the prices significantly. For example oculus quest, a budget headset which I wanted to buy costs the same price as oculus S making it out of my price range

Hey, I know that this comment was a year ago but if you need a cheap option, I recommend the Oculus quest 2, you don't need a PC to run it but it's just as good as PCVR

@@mcarrowtime7095 Nope. Did get a minor upgrade to the pc though thanks to some friends. At a 1660 ti and a Ryzen 5 3600 now, everything else is still old. Drive is from 2012 lol.

I don't like how there are some "hidden" mechanics, that not many players figure out. Like that holding guns two-handed is WAY better for recoil/accuracy.... Other than that. This game is amazing. And I'm glad to see jack having fun with it. :)
it's not really a "hidden mechanic" it's just how you use guns
like same with the red dot, the dot has to line up with the target, that's how optics work

also the problem with vr is that besides headsets being too expensive in some countries you also need a beefy pc to run it at stable 60fps, because less than that and people will get fatigued and motion sickness. not only that but models being available is a big problem, i recently managed to solve the pc part by buying a desktop but then the headsets i found here are almost half the price of a 4k starter pc, and it's only the main brands like rift s and vive, and they are all used and some have screen problems already.
so its not like people dont wanna try it.

What I really appreciate about the gravity gloves so far is that not only are they a cool thematic tool that can be used in the game. It’s also really useful because it prevents the player from having to bend down or maneuver the controls weirdly to grab something. I really appreciate that!
