Note on the rejected EU Constitution and Lisbon Treaty:
The people of France and the Netherlands rejected the proposed EU constitution in the 2005 referendums. Since all 27 Member States are required to ratify, the Constitution was dead, but this took a long time to sink in. After this, other countries cancelled a promised referendum and the EU Constitution was re-written as an "amending treaty" or a "reform treaty" and named "Treaty of Lisbon".
On the basis of this deceit, they claimed that no referendums are necessary on the Lisbon Treaty. Ireland was constitutionally required to hold a referendum and on the 12 June 2008 the people of Ireland gave a resounding No to Lisbon. Yet this vote is not being respected and the rule of law is being ignored. The EU leaders agreed at the June 19-20 EU Summit that ratifications must go on. Moreover, 26 Member States are being denied a referendum.
The Lisbon Treaty establishes a new "European Union" with joint citizenship - an EU "federal" State that is technically and politically empowered to centralize more power in Brussels. The treaty also stipulates the militarisation of the Union in order to 'police the world' just like the US does today.

Because almost no French do. I've been to Paris twice, a city where the locals gets offended when tourists doesn't speak French, and gets even more offended if you dare to ask if they speak English.

Well the first faliure of the EU is that there are too many languages...it can't possibly work.

@LightmanTruth It's 27 ppl fyi, it is appointed by the european council in respect of ep vote results and the ep decides whether or not they are installed. Also eu commission only has the right of initiative and council has to pass these (you know the one that has your -elected- ministers in it) And primary eu law treaties etc needs to be ratified and accepted by the national parliaments.So tell me, are you using ancient documents as a source or just making things up?

Since it's a collage, rather than anything else, it becomes awfully bland without music. The voice is audible - that's important. otherwise, there is enough demand for music by the younger generations that I've opted to keep the style... perhaps just change the genre of music. New genre coming in for my next vid - out next week.

For the sake of accuracy, he doesn't have a "château" in the south, it's a national summer residency for all the French presidents (exactly like Balmoral in Scotland for the British royal family).

I'm from Canada and don't know much about the EU. However, good on Ireland rejecting an infringement on the soveriegnty. We here in North America are concerned about the NAFTA agreement and it's affects on our countries when dealing with nations with no labour laws or human rights or undercut a middle class which was fought for long ago.
I have the read the Treaty, and I am concerned by the following:
1. My national parliament loses its supremacy in 54 areas of policy, many of which are very significant.
2. The Treaty has self-amending capabilities.
3. The Treaty militarises the E.U.
4. The Treaty creates a long-term President (Ok, the presidency might not necessarily be a position of great intrinsic power, but it will certainly become a symbolic role and with it will come a significant amount of patronage).

The rising of extreme right movements in France are the result of this policy. By overrulling the french, Sarkosy has made the demonstration that this european union is an ILLUSION of democracy. I certainly do not share all the views of Mr Farage, regarding free market for instance, but if we don't stop this QUICK, we'll end up with a USSR for the rich, by the rich, pupetted by the US markets.
