Dude, fantastic guide. MW is the one spec in the game I've literally never tried at all. It just came to mind tonight that I should find out about it. It looks so cool! Like this whole new aspect of the game I've never discovered! I'm definitely going to give it a go with one of my monks.

One thing i noticed that is completely unrelated to healing btw: You can put your point from Improved Roll to Celerity, still giving you the 2nd charge, but with extra 5s cd reduction

i recently changed to a tank main but i can not let go of monk heal its just so much fun. So its my Alt now, and that guide really helped stay in touch with all the small details of the specc :)

I'm considering having my monk as my backup trifecta main to fill in tanking and I've dabbled in heading in general, never really got super into it, but I want to do Fistweaving, it seems really fun and passive. So thanks for this video! I'm hoping to really get into it and give it a go.
I did have one question, what's the range on the Essence Font? Also is Ancient Teachings good in raid? I'm assuming that the focal point for Fistweaving Monk is to heal the melee.
I highly recommend! I believe essence font is 30 yds. Fistweaving is the go to playstyle for raid. At the baseline you could just focus punching and kicking to do healing, and then get more advanced by weaving in renewing mists, tracking how many renewing mists you have and focusing on extending them with rising mists, then pump with vivify that will cleave on everyone with renewing mist!
@@LBNinja7 Okay excellent! I did test it out on a regular dungeon last night, my stats aren't ideal yet, but I'll get there. The build you have, is it good for both M+ and Raid?
@@hunthealthy1018 its only really good on cleave fights in raid, you can drop the 3 faeline talents to go secret infusion>celestial haste&mending proliferation and itll be a pretty solid raid build thats close to this one!
@@LBNinja7 okay, so you'd swap out FLS to trigger AT for Essence Font? I'm guessing that the build you're referring to is more suited for a ST fight?

while FLS is down you get 2 stacks of teaching from each TP. you can pair this with chi-ji and make EM cost 0 mana while just using one TP while inside FLS. So FLS TP Chi-ji then BoK then repeat TP+ BoK until chi-ji expires

It's refreshing to see such a clear and simple guide! Also, do you know if getting healing embelishments are always the best? Are there some viable damage alternatives, or is that too troll? :)
Personally I just went with healing darts and don't think much about it lol. Honestly they all kinda suck so if there's one that seems fun to you then go with it!

It seems like you ignored that Enveloping Mist is instantly casted while channeling Soothing Mist. Casting Soothing Mist and going into Enveloping Mist is far more efficient than hard casting Enveloping Mist alone. Set up Click-Casting for Soothing Mist and transition cleanly into both and it's much faster.
Additionally, casting Enveloping Mist will automatically produce a Renewing Mist, adding a renewing mist to your ticking pool of hots throughout the group you're healing. You can see an example of this at 6:30 - note Renewing Mist leaping off of the character when it's casted on yourself.
What are you using for add-ons or those bars? It looks so clean...

Great video, thanks so much. Just starting out leveling a MW was wondering if you had some good stat weights to use for pawn or a good way to determine stat weights as I progress. Pretty new to the game so just learning about how best to use these addons. Thanks again.
absolutely! So haste is pretty good right now because it just lets you press more buttons so you make less mistakes. When you are lower level, mastery heals a lot relatively, but as you get higher item level your other heals out weigh the mastery procs, so crit is better. If you find yourself dying very easily, give yourself a little vers, but its not too good healing wise at the moment. So i would go Haste main, then mastery until you get to about 390 ilvl then start trading some mastery for crit!

It does a lot of healing in 10.1, but still is outclassed by other hps specs that bring more utility for a raid unfortunately
@LBNinja7 i think there is always have a room for a Monk heal cus his healing buff. 6 % is LOT in a raid :) BTW thx for ur Guide. It was helpful for me

Omg i just realized that fist * weaving basically doesn't use the class's mastery almost at all UNLESS you with the ranged build which slays, absolutely dominates right now.
Yeah i mean you do use renewing mis often, as well as vivify. Also chiji uses it whenever ypu kick while its out, so it gets a surprising amount of value as a fistweaver

Love my monk, but really hate MW. Used to play a more range MW in BfA and liked it. Never liked fistweaving tho.
It has gotten a lot more fun with faeline stomp, since blackout kicks feels really impactful to press! But the ranged version is worse, but still very powerful!
You could try the casting build, its way more fun

As for the weakaura, i have a video on my entire UI, but if you just want the ancient teachings, make a progress bar, set the trigger to buff, then ancient teachings.

I know everyones playing melee, but I feel OP having a caster build. I am severely undergeared but healing 20s with ease. Makes me kinda sad actually to see everyone using the same build. I dont even have fealine stomp lol. I think people should pick more talents they actually enjoy and have an easier time to play with. I think atleast the casting mistweaving is superior and more fun. Fistweaving I dont enjoy at all. Tired of seeing people roasting me in m+ for playing something else than the standard everyone uses talents, even though I am excelling, both on mw monk and frost mage.

How about leveling? Would u heal while leveling?
I actually have been leveling another mistweaver on the side, and it feels great! Getting spinning crane kick so early lets you blast content, and being able to heal yourself makes bigger pulls easier. Id recommend it for dungeon leveling, but lean more toward ww or bm for questing leveling
This seems good on packs but it makes me wonder how do you deal with if you have no mobs in range or if someone in your team gets a dot or something that you need to preheal/pop defensive on them for? It seems very random heals and no controls basicly. Or if you have to run away with some ability lets say first boss in Ruby. How do you heal then
Same way ranged does. Fistweaver is actually much better at making sure the party always has renewing mists on them since rising sun kick applies them then extemds them, and vivify blasts cleave healing
The healing amounts over the dummy's is that through clique?
Yes! I clicked them to make their name show up, then hovered over their name and used heals and clique allowed that to work

Ah ok. My bad I think I asked the wrong question. Basically I want my healing numbers to show like yours do, above the dummy. I use MSBT at the moment i'm not sure if its a configuration on there or something else you use.

it is a command that should turn it back on!
How much Mastery do you have currently?
Currently 100%, looking to trade some of it for more crit!
@@LBNinja7 Same as mine, the reason i asked i becomes i mainly play with the ranged build which seems to benefit quite a lot from our Mastery but i also play the melee one at times because it's really fun, and now i realized how little our Mastery is being utilized there and it explains some difference in healing throughput.

What are the stats priorities for fistweaver in PvP? The same?
I dont have the most experience in pvp, so if you want the best answer i would ask Mystical! Hes a great creator that focuses pvp. I think it is vers>haste>crit=mast for pvp

Just not a fan of the melee healer build, rather use Jade State + Unison to make EM and Vivify instants and Heal more (Talents)
Then alternate Vivify and Eveloping mist, and build around the EV spread for Renweing Mists and Sheiluns Gift.
Solid Guide on this Build.

@LBNinja7 I tried it over the weekend, just rough since it doesn't feel like a set rotation more of a button mash, but yea I need to bring that into the rotation and play with ancient teachings more, this Build reminds me of the old Crane stance before the rework

Please my guy…. There is no reason to have such a big ui weakaura to shows abilities if you are going to have your bars be the size of half your screen… hide the non essentials or make your bars smaller. It will look much more “professional” as well.
Yeah i couldnt tell you why i dont hide the bars :p ive been wanting to do a complete ui rework but just been putting it off

What is that addon showing you the time for your ancient teachings
It is just a weakaura If you want it, I have a download for all of my weakauras, but if you want to make it:
new weakaura>progress bar>change the trigger to a buff> set the buff to Ancient Teachings
Holy pally should had gotten sometime similar to that ancient whatever talent. But instead of a hot healer they should had been an AOE healer which fits their mastery more & they just drop tons of stuff like consecration like abilities like how guardians do in GW2.
Yeah like Aura Mastery should make your consecration do 5x more healing while its active or something. Or as long as youre in your consecration, it does more healing. That would be dope and fit the mastery a lot more
