Why is no one pointing out how clean that fall back into a push-up was at 4:20?
TJF Denver how come?
I was just to say how clean that was
That was crisp👌
So smooth
That’s Da Del coming out..lol..good to see you fam..
-E. Clanton
Good to see officers such as yourself when I was in our leadership was complete crap.
Josef Smith still is
2020 still is. Nothing changed and never will. Leadership for the most part is made by those guys that would be absolutely nothing in civilian life, so they stay in and run things their way, the shitty way. Good people stay in for 1 or 2 contracts.
Meh, its always easy to moan about leadership.
@@leporoso1986 exactly, never will, the bitching and moaning of the enlisted.
Just Subbed, and really like your videos! I'm a U.S.Army Airborne Infantryman Combat Veteran of the Panama Invasion and 1st Gulf War with the 82nd. Proud of my service, and proud to be a U.S. Army veteran. Thank you for your service in the U.S. Army.
Marcus Payne Thank you for your support and years of service!
I’m convinced this is about to kick my ass.
Finally a fitness test that makes sense. The prior was perfect for people made of skin and bone instead of replicating actual work conditions.
Yea the APFT basically incentivized soldiers to be skinny
Either APFT I crushed, it doesn’t make a difference. Stopping making excuses.
I'm currently a senior and high school and I've been thinking alot about joining the army, these videos motivate me more and more to join so hopefully one day we'll meet
Beltran Jesus Good luck on your future endeavors and glad I can be a source of motivation. I plan on posting more Army life videos in the future so stay tuned!
Do it it’s the the easiest job you’ll ever have.
EVERY TIME I SEE A DATE & TIME just before 2020 I think…. “ OH THATS JUST BEFORE ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE”. We can’t ever allow that to happen again
It was helpful to see the new test they’re incorporating in so thank you!
Timid Ghost Np! Looking back, I wish I could’ve elaborated on the experience more but, planning on making a second video for that.
Thank you for your service to our country. From an US Air Force veteran
Officer life looks so much sweeter than enlisted life. Great video
Because it is
You seem like a chill ass officer officers at my command seem too up about their self if you know what I mean like they’re too good to talk to anyone
Seems like a genuine, hard working good guy. Subscribed! 👍
Thanks for subscribing!
Keep up the great content, bro! Currently working as our Task Force S6 OIC. I see how much work our XO does every week so I commend you for what you’re doing. I know it’s not the easiest role. Keep achieving!! ✊🏾
Thanks for the support bro! S6 OIC isn’t an easy job either.
Christopher Graham / ESCAPE ATHLETICS 💯
Damn look at that huge bed, DAMN LOOK AT THAT SPACE!
Thank you for showing us "behind the scenes"...very interesting! THANK YOU for your service. God bless.
Wendy Huizer. Proud of my service and proud to be a U.S. army. Saludos desde Columbus GA. ✌
Much love brother!! From a US Marine!!!
you are clearly taking care of yourself so you can take care of your company. That's what leadership is all about.
Damn they added some stuff to rose field. Been 3+ years since I been out. Do not miss those barracks 🤣🤣
Sprint, drag, carry is way harder then it looks. They caught us with a surprise ACFT amongst this COVID Situation. I was yacking pretty good, by the 2 mile run my legs were jello. My 2 mile time went up around 2 min as well.
Thanks for this kind of vlog..i love watching like this
4:17 lead by example 😂👌🏻👌🏻
Your stationed at fort Lewis sir !! I think I’ve seen you a few times either at Mcveigh or soldiers field house . We should definitely get a session in sir !
Yeah, I’m at JBLM. Sure thing! Let me know when you’re free and we can definitely get a session or two in!
Kyle Burnett : 2nd Ranger Batt looking at the new PT test thinking “Okay Girls, stretching exercise before we get to our fitness routine.”
I see you out there sir.
Just ran into your channel and subbed. Keep up the work.

James Mitchell Thanks man! Much appreciated
@@christophergrahamescapeath6218 Anytime sir.
Very good video, I’m almost 200lbs after starting my journey at 300lbs. Hitting the gym and doing a lot of running (especially during quarantine) to hit that enlistment standard for the army. My goal is to be physically ready by the end of August. Hoping to get 68W but I’ve been told your MOS is ultimately where ever they want to put you.
If you're enlisting, you get a choice in your MOS before you sign your contract. Period. If the MOS you want isn't available, or you don't have the required scores on ASVAB cumulative and subsections, then that particular job that you want might not be available to you, BUT you still should receive a list of available jobs that you qualify for, some of which might offer bonuses, student loan repayment, etc. Please don't allow a recruiter to try to tell you you don't have a choice in your MOS. If you're commisioning, then getting the branch that you want is, to an extent, out of your hands because "needs of the Army" and your ability to meet standards for certain branches.
Good stuff cuzzo !! Keep the videos rolling !
Dj Kelly Thanks for the support cuzzo!!!
congratulations for the content a hug from brazil
Such a calm guy
💪🏾🇺🇸💪🏾 Good shit LT.
Ok, former military and can’t quite see the test of endurance or full purpose. Deadlift is compatible for Artillery shells or lifting 350 lbs on a cart. Don’’t know what the ball tests unless throwing a bag of potatoes to the next fighting position. The sleeping push-up??? Weight drag...dragging an injured buddy, but in the standing open target position. The tear down the knees and hips” high impact run is still kept. It’s good to have scientists develop a test for combat personnel carrying 100lbs on their back or loggia sitting in a truck transporting cases of MREs all day. Great Job Army.
Yooo Wasssup big Cuzzo this is Javen I leave on Father’s Day for basic. Much love bro
What’s good cuzzo!!! Congrats on joining bro!! Hit me up when you get done with basic and let me know where they’re sending you after AIT. Good luck bro and let me know if you ever need anything.
Im getting old school NavaTheBeast vibes

Yepp! This place has been good to me so far!
way to go, Lieutenant Grham, let's link up at Sheridan's gym on Stryker Ave for some weightlifting...
Sure thing! Let me know when you’re free.
21 T-pushups, 1:59 sprint drag, 3 legs tucks, 13:29 2 mile, 250LBS deadlift, 6.7 meter ball toss MY ACFT SCORES

thank god i etsed last year. im getting ptsd lmfao
Except hes not the dusche bag and thinks he's a badass like navathebitch
This guy said Executive Officer....
That's all you need to know...
XO is a confusing term 😂
legit know nothing about army, what does that mean?
@@onlypamcakes The XO is the 2nd Officer in charge at the Company level, so a Captain is the Company Commander and the XO is usually a 1st Lieutenant.
Aztec715 abcd so he’s second in command in the company?
Luis Rosario if he’s the XO, that’s correct
Thank you for your services sir
Boutta be me this summer! Hella hyped but also really nervous
I gladly took my DD 214 2 years ago and was wondering if the current guys already have lower back issues for trying to max on deadlift and shoulders and elbows issues for uncontrolled ball throws.
My unit had some of the least athletic/unmotivated people who just ate and complained and they were wondering why they were always on ABCP and why the Army kicks out the good people.
Wow! It is amazing how well you did the PT tests. Now I know what my soldier goes through everyday. Thanks for all you do.
That cable row was to heavy for the other guy lol
Pretty Boy gotta start somewhere 🤷🏾♂️
Pretty Boy gotta start somewhere 🤷🏾♂️
Thank you for sharing your day
“ can’t skip leg day”...... proceed to skip leg day
To isn't English-- but it's in, Hawaiian ENG'LISH'--At place of, limits. TO'= you. You transitioned, for leg day.
@ Christopher Graham, I see you are Assigned to the 2nd ID, 1st LT. I did and Assignment at Joint Base Lewis McChord WA working with the ,2nd ID. I was a Army NCO Lanes Trainer Instructor with the 104th Training Division. My Unit was Training College University level ROTC Cadets through the LDAC Program. To earn there Officer Commissions as 2nd LT's. In the Total Army Components. Active and Reserve.
( I T ) Institutional Training. Was there 2011, 2012, ,2013. Got mobilized there. Washington State rained a lot.
BRUH THOSE ARE MY BARRACKS IN THE BACKGROUND
Headed to my first unit in a few days, and I’m taking over as the XO. Any tips/tricks that you could pass on would be greatly appreciated 🙏🏾
Khaleel Bremby Just rely heavenly on your PLs and PSGs to execute tasks. Never hesitate to ask questions, and be a team player. You will soon come to find out that the NCOs in your company will break their back to help you out any day of the week.
@@christophergrahamescapeath6218 Y'all just give the orders. The NCO core keeps everyone together. Take care of your enlisted and they will take care of you.
Paperwork, man. Keep that tight and you'll run a taut ship. Keep your men motivated.
And don’t treat your junior enlisted like shit. Theirs already enough asshole’s in the army don’t create new dickheads just because u have rank.. the cycle will never stop as junior enlisted add rank
liked and subscribed 😊 so helpful to see the new APFT. we haven't done it yet so it looks like I have a lot of work to do to prepare for it. how did you all prepare for it?
Garrick Jordan Thanks for your support. I mainly just practice the events associated with the test as well as focus on muscle groups that target what I will be using during the test. I plan to make a video on that soon.
@@christophergrahamescapeath6218 awesome! looking forward to your next video project.
Nice video man. I subscribed.
I wish you were in at my time, you would fit right in at OCS. A day in the life of an Army Private (Fort Benning - 2004):
Wake up in a paint peeled metal bunk with standard issue bedding (white sheets green blanket). Walk into the hall to see another rat scurry by as you enter the latrine labeled "shitter". Take a shower in the last remaining area not marked off by tape and a sign saying "health hazard". Go down stairs and walk across the grass to the chow hall. Get yelled at by first sergeant: "If you don't get off the god damn grass, private, I'm gonna send your happy ass to Iraq. And I promise you, it will not be a problem there!". Arrive at chow and eat a breakfast that is an equivalent to a plastic McDonald play set. Get yelled at for not eating fast enough. Watch your bunk mate nearly choke to death as the NCOs call him out for "not swallowing right". Spend the afternoon pulling grass from between the sidewalks until deployed. Get deployed. Get shot - and survive. Get yelled at for being such a bad soldier that you can't even die right. repeat until ETS.
Great video young man.
This is going to be me in a couple of months...I'm excited and nervous 😭

i like your hand release technique
Lmao this is Rose Field on Fort Lewis Main Post. Right across from the good ol 5-20
Alex Nguyen yeeeeeee
Yes! Stationed there from ‘16-‘18. Great time! Am now stationed in Japan.
Dang LT, y’all’s unit slackin on the standards for the acft
Ship out on Monday so ready
This PT test looks way better than the Navy PT test
Can anyone who is not a U.S. citizen by birth be a directly commissioned officer of armour crops or any crops in the U.S. Army?
Good workout sir
Glad the Army is actually factoring in and developing strength in their training protocols now instead of just running hundreds of miles with gear on.
I been looking to join after I graduate lots of inspiration in this video.
I graduated now I’m stationed in Washington .
Trap bar dead is fine. The ball throw is moronic and is going to be hard as hell to grade and move people through quickly, just replace it with power jumps for time or something. Or overhead presses. Pushups are great, no more garbage form allowed. Sprint drag carry is okay but I'm wondering why they're bothering with a 2 mile run afterwards. No problems with the knee tuck. All in all it is a MUCH better test of fitness than the old PRT but some garbage got tucked in there.
10/10
Great job
Awesome video do more!
Thanks! Will do!
I'm glad I don't have to do the ACFT. Although looks better then the APFT. What battalion you in over there IN JBLM?
christian libecki I’m in 1-23 IN over on main. Yeah the ACFT is a humbling event lol
YO YOU IN 5-20 OR 1-23?!? I used to be at 1-14 right across the field!
Infidel 556 I’m in 1-23. How did you like 1-14?
Can you do a video on exercises u did to train for the ACFT
vlone86 Yeah, I actually plan on making a video on that soon so stay tuned!
Was in basic with Smith
You know 3rd PLT don't don't go soft on anything #DogOfWar
Good job bro. You should try Brazilian jujitsu. You would be perfect for it
Aren’t you supposed to fully extend your arms laterally for the army acft hand release push ups. That’s what they made us do
That's crazy you're in the same BDE as me.
Whenever in a convoy with your PL, always remember you can’t spell LOST without LT
That's some high quality original humor right there, did you come up with that yourself? No? What's that? Everyone has made that joke for the last 20 years?
Just subbed.
14:16 is a pretty damn good running time. I guess he got good practice in civilian world 😂
Nice save at 4:19
Nice video! Most of my PT test were taken after a long work week or 30 days in the field. Many times we would get off at 1630 on a Friday and we would drink all night and get woken up at 0800 for a PT test on a Saturday. That’s a real PT test. Lol
For any fitness tips, Cabo just do calithe I s and get the same results as if I were in a gym like pull ups, oushups, squats, and stuff like that?
Was that the Regulars' Field?
You might want to invest in a weight belt, some gloves, and hooks. Protect yourself for longevity.
Wonder how it's going to turn out, I'm actually cooling back to the army after 1 year being in reserves.
I'm losing weight to live my dream in the Army, hopefully can make it in Ranger school
Wow really man? Army .... you can do better man.. I mean don’t get me wrong but the army shouldn’t be the sole reason to lose the weight... just join the Air Force or Navy.... be smart . I wouldn’t lie to you about this.
Join the army man air force you will stay fat fr
Ty Grant well that’s not true at all.... in the army there’s fat bodies too.... I get your an officer but the point is to send him to one of the best branches the one with the highest budget, best food and best accommodations.... Jc Pasley if you gonna waste your time and get strong or get big or get super athletic I suggest you do it for yourself and not a military branch that will break you the first chance it gets.... it’s a roll of a dice man you might get lucky then again you might not... but go air force or navy .... take it from me lol please
@@lemorelgambino9882 11 Bravo sir
Ty Grant yeah? That’s cool and all but sand hill is not for everyone. If someone’s gonna get the blue cord it should be to go to selection right after or ranger school. But anyways sir have good day you seem fit enough. 11 series or not we gotta admit there’s better MOS anything with combat in the name is garbage. If people want combat just go to SF..... words of wisdom. From random civilian.
I'm feeling the music on this video, what's the name of it?
How much do you weigh and what’s your height?
I’m about 185lbs and I’m 5’9” ... 5’10” on a good day lol
What are those hand release pushups? I thought you had to make a T with your hands/body in order for it to count
They were going by the old regulation. The current ACFT states you must do the "T" pushup.
ShowtimeMahomes yes correct, the ACFT was still in the trial phase. New standards and regulations does state you must now perform your pushups with a “T”
Day and life of the most easy job in the military. Wake up and give order that must be stressful. Meanwhile the enlisted do all the work, sleep in shitty barracks, get paid like shit, treated like shit. I find this funny all the time. All that work and deployment time I need in the Army. Trying to meet the point system to get promoted to the next. I went into the Navy this year. No point system just a test. A fucking test man
People don’t get the stress involved in shooting that first part of the video
Uh did I see push up reps bouncing off the ground with water slide back from? And they were being counted? Love some of the new event needless to say.
11:00 any comments about KATUSAs? :)
I say Hooah!
