He told me that the other Marines in my platoon of about 35 people were wrried and upset with me. How I had almost changed overnight into an asshole. He was essentially the delegate of the junior Marines and speaking for the rest of them. I took his advice to heart and I lightened up, became a better Sergeant and took care of my guys.
Randy, 1371 is the best MOS. 1974 to 1980. Then in 1989, with over 9 years broken time I re-upped into the USMC Reserves, 1989 to 1996. With a call up for active duty during Desert Storm, 1991. Semper Fi.

We worked normally for early runs 04:00 to 16:00 Getting out was the worst thing I ever did. If I have any tips for anyone still in make sure if you get hurt it gets documented. Plus Comms, Armory, Supply, Admin and Cooks to make it all work together to get the mission done. Meanwhile, I was living in an open squad bay with 60 other filthy animals fucking with each other all day and sleeping in a hole in the ground when we went to the field. Do you have any other sources of income or business? And what advice would you give for buying a house and car in the marine corps ? 😬

are you not allowed to clean the dirt or is that against the rules or marine core values to insure someone who gets assigned it deserves to be the one cleaning it? ie only when it goes in for routine maitenance is it allowed to be cleaned?
drew nelson, That gym is a 'unofficial" gym that the Marines in that particular unit have put together. So they can work out at their work site. You should see the actual base gyms at most of the Marine Corps bases. They are "state of the art".

Mark Atherton just about everything is available with a 70, your GT score is probably the most important but with a 70 on the ASVAB you probably have at least a 110 GT so you’re eligible for anything like Air Traffic Control, Intel or whatever else you wanna do
