Could you please do a video on how to make a serum that does not peel and why do some serums peel ? The Ordinary serums are notorious for unpleasant peeling after applying oils or creams after them, my only guess is that it may be because of the gums they use (tamarind and xanthan). On the other hand, Aroma-zone serums do not peel, and I notided that they only use hyaluronic acid as a thickener. But I don't wanna use it as a thickener. Please help with some professional insight =))
you are right, these gums do peel. Thats why hyaluronic acid is used as a thickener but in my country this chemical is so expensive that i vant use it as a thickener
@@Fiiscreativemoods yes, and adding to the price, i also don't ike using it as a thickener cause i follow up with other thing and creams containing more than enough hyaluronic acid already. so if you know any thivkener that does not peel, keep me informed)))

Gums--Don't--Peel (where'd u get that from)???
It's the ( ascorbic/aha/bha/ etc & retinol" that cause the skin to peel & depending on the % rate that is used in the formula.
Hyaluronic Acid helps to "hydrate" the skin & lock in moisture
@@jaunbonaysmith we're not talking about skin peeling ... we're talking about the serum turning into solid debri that rolls on your face when you put anything on top of it

Why do you have to put xanthan gum in at the end of the formula for a shower gel?
So the xanthan gum doesn't gel with the wate r before adding the other surfactants, which also contain water. If you do that, you'll end up with a gelled layer separate to the product.
