@@EllysEverydaySoapMaking you’re welcome ☺
I have learned everything about soap making from this lady! I am so grateful to you and can’t thank you enough
Thank you so much! I'm grateful for your generous feedback :)
She helped me get my liquid soap right. Most information that I’ve sourced was quite unclear to me.
Did you use fractionated coconut oil or 76 degree coconut oil?
@@aniqua.giirll same here I have learned to make soap for myself and my family without any mistakes because of her I am even thinking to open a small business in the future
Me too!
I typed this for myself, my own recipes book, but thought you might enjoy this:
75 g cocoa butter
300 g Olive oil 100%
225 rice bran oil
150 g Coconut oil
Mix in Crock pot cook on High.
Gloves
Goggles
100 g Sodium Hydroxide (Caustic Soda, lye solution)
200 g water (pr 100 g and 100 g ice)
Mix Pour caustic soda into the water (NEVER pour water onto Caustic Soda)
20 g tea tree Essential oils
10 g Eucalyptus oils or any oils you like
3 teaspoons French green clay
Blend.
Add in 50 g of aloe vera juice
MIX. Then turn crockpot into LOW.
1 Large stem of aloe vera, skin off, meat chopped up, blend up liquids.. gets 50 grams of liquids (leave overnight & fibers will float on top. Save The skin you can put on your face skin for a nice facial).
Turn pot ot LOW 15-20 min
54°-80° C
Mix, stir.
Spray water to keep the crusty.
77° C for 10 minutes.
Stop cooking. Remove pot off..
Cool off. Add in more essential oils.. test pH strips.
Pour into mold. Let cure for a month.
Thank you very much.
Thank you so much for writing all this out here.
Just one question:
What's being done with the fiber that floated to the top after leaving the blended aloe gel in the fridge?
Included? Not included? Used for something else, if so what?
Thanks again!
Thank you so much. 👍👍
Super ❤
What about the ph dear?
Homemade soaps are so much nicer than any store bought soap could ever be. There’s something refreshing and special about it that’s kind of ..good for the soul.
Softer skin. Relaxing scents that don’t smell “soapy”. It’s an experience.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
How nice to pull an ingredient from your garden for soap making.
I feel very lucky to be able to do so!
That ice water trick is really clever. Thank you 😊
Hi Elly, thank you for this great recipe. I'm living in Greece and we started producing olive oil three years ago. I once prepared a pure olive soap and found out that it's really easy - not rocket science at all. In my garden there's a lot of aloe vera growing wild and I'll certainly give your recipe a try.
A very warm greeting to Down Under! I used to travel your country in my twenties and I loved it!
Kali spera from Hellas, Claudia
Lovely! Thank you Claudia
@@siblingssibs5340 Hi, where are you from? I'm asking because of the shipping costs. I live in Greece.
@@siblingssibs5340 Is it possible to send via DHL?
I asked for the shipping costs at DHL. They charge 220€ for a package of 5kg. That's definitely too much.
@@siblingssibs5340 It is. I am sorry..
I had a horrible afternoon at work, so it was such a treat to come home to a video of yours. I have been wanting to make another aloe soap, so you have inspired me!

Nice very good explanation
I just made hot process soap this evening with a batch of cold process that I didn’t use enough lye in. It’s such a cool method! My soap wouldn’t come to trace and the next morning I realized I had used 130 grams of lye instead of 230. Thankfully this method helped me salvage it! Thanks for the great video!
