    Just curious; does anyone ride the Comet car towards the locomotive? I’m surprised they found a way to sandwich it in.

      @@davidng2336 No passengers, just used to get the train up to 28 axles for running on BNSF.

    Any idea if the engine was being operated by an Amtrak engineer or a BNSF one? I imagine it's quite the experience if you spent your whole career pulling freight trains and suddenly get to pull a passenger train.

      @@360Nomad Amtrak crews ran it both ways, only had a BNSF crew when they ran the engine up to where they were stuck at
