Oil kings are far from budget switches
Added it as a point of reference
u forgot the akko jelly blacks
@@cupper_Tea Jelly Blacks fall in the clackier side
@@DookyLeighWOT cap
@@DookyLeighWOT there the thockyest switches that akko makes
i think the Akko CS Matcha Green was the thocciest
True but the ultimate blacks were nice
I would say the scratchiest
Yes
matcha greens always have had a pinging and scratching issue honestly they don't really compare to ocean blues and rose reds
What about KTT Reccazr Ku Orange?? Ever heard that? Only 0.24$ in my Country
Yellow is always a good switch but the Akko Matcha Green was chef's kiss.
Interesting. For me oil kings and surprisingly the Radiant reds. I should look into those as they are a good budget switch
Those are my favourites too. The Oil Kings are the smoothest by far. The Radiant Reds have a lovely low-frequency thock and they're quite smooth too. Amazing value with the Radiant Reds.
if you consider one dollar per switch budget then yeah oil kings are great
for that price it better thocc
Bro oil kings are not budget 😭, if you want to fill a 75 percent it’s gonna be like 80 dollars
i want oil kings so bad they’re just sooo expensive
when i heard the first one, i was like, how could it get even more thocky??
inr
the board is already thocky
do this with tactiles, I've been looking for a good tactile that feels and sounds good. So far this is the best way to see what a switches raw sound is just by looking at the difference of the previous switch!
Akko lavenders are a pretty good option if you’re looking for budget tactiles
Daamn. Didnt know the matcha greens sounded like that.
The Akko switches I tried really surprised me. The Radiant Reds are easily my favourite, considering their insanely low price point.
i need 2 more videos like this: one for creamy switches and on for tactiles
In my opinion, if you're just starting out or are on a budget jwick blacks are the best budget switching on the market
Они и звучат, как по мне, лучше всех)😊
the oil king syncs perfectly with the keyboard
That Jwick at the start sounds so nice, great video dude
Thank you!
Macha green
Been using the ultimate blacks for a couple of weeks now. Overall satisfied with how they sound and feel.
Glad you’re enjoying them! They’re not my favourite sound, but they do feel great.
I personally love the Akko Matcha Greens because I have them. They're awesome when lubed
They’re great switches!
Are they very loud? Can just in office environment? Whatd about akko red?
@@kisharnramadas8727depends on the office environment. They're still very audible even with dampening foam, but if your office is rather noisy (lot of people talking), I don't think they're too noticable
What board is that because all of those switches arent always that thocky
Same position too. *Chef's kiss*
Thockey keyboard sound scratch my brain
More switches tests?
you can make any of these switches thock or clack with the right case material, mounting style and keycap set. there is no such thing as the thockiest _switch_ by itself.
one was very scratchy
da greens sound the best and are cheap but im afraid their scratchy cus the press looks uneven
Ty bro u just saved me a bunch of money
Akko Green for sure
Are all of these switches not lubed or are they lubed
“budget” shows oil kings
loved the oil king… bit expensive tho
akko cs matcha green is just amazing to me
I change my from red to Milky Yellow pro for my Keychron K6. It is really different.
Matcha is crazy next cop for sure
Where do you buy those keycaps?
My finger got sore just from watching this
Are all of these switches lubed?
gateron yellow pro prelubed
Only the Yellow Pro and Oil Kings come prelubed
@@pizzaquadrat2275 I thought they were Factory Lubed?
@@shatmx7574isnt that the same
Hopefully this highlights that sound is 90% case
Akko CS Matcha Green is fave
Does anybody know where I can but the Akko CS Mathca Green switches at?
Tactile or Linear? Great production on the video btw!
These are all linear switches. Thank you!
Those greens, ooooahhhhh
Какая сила нажатия у первых переключателей?
Gateron milky yellows are the best for me, i don't care what everyone says, but I love those
they're so good for the price especially lubed they feel better than creams imo but they both can be over-lubed so easily
Matcha green:)
Scratchy
Pleas quite switches
If you listen carefully, you will hear spring ping and scratches from these switches, except the Oil King. Sometimes, I just hate my ears.
i was also wondering this. i dont know if its just me or if there was actually ping
I’ve got oil kings laying around and tbh. They’re not that great sounding. Hella smooth yeah but soundwise which is subjective, i prefer KTT kang whites
It’s the matcha green Akko for me
Everyone has different tastes!
Akko cs matcha greens were the best
ngl jwick blacks were the best imo
Matcha green or ultimate black
Do you have the same vid but creamy?
can you use the matcha greens on a red dragon k630?
yeah
Matcha green 😍
For me
1. Akko cs matcha green
2.Oil kings
3.milky yellow pro
damn bro should've added the hippos they are like 45$ for 110 and made by gateron too so some where in between
Stop Bro, not when my wife is home.
Use headphones while she’s asleep.
@@HarvindG These videos are why I’m in the bathroom for so long.
@@AbsolutelyCursed@ me next time
all akko but for me the silver
The matcha is real nice ❤
were the oil kings lubed? i wanna buy some but i dont know where from
They come prelubed from the factory. I got them from AliExpress.
@@HarvindG oh thanks that’s great!
@@loganwilson3265 No problem!
did you use a polycarbonate plate for this test
Gateron black ink v2s?
Are the akko jelly blacks more thocky than the matcha greens tho?
To my ears, no. But it’s very subjective
@@HarvindG how are the akko cream yellow v3 on a rk84 board? completely stock board, and wont be lubing them either
What keyboard is it and is it modded?
Akko v3 ?
But what’s the best for gaming and sound: reds all the way
Get banana spilts😤😤 pretty expensive but like bro
Are they lubed already or like right out the box? :D
out of box
Oil king is expensive swiches
JWICKS are mx favourite. They also feel quite a lot better to me than the akkos.
Gateron Pros are also good
but oil kings arent 0.93 per switch tho
“Budget switches but they get more thocky” *puts switch that costs more than some keyabords* 💀
Akko cs silver switch for me
I need to try those for sure
oil kings are not budget 😭
Baru tau akko green sethocky itu
Mmg thocky habis.
Gateron Ink v2 Yellow Box.
My question is why you are buying gateron oil kings for 90 cents a switch you can get them cheaper literally everywhere.
Ktt kang whites???
they all sound the same to me wtf
oil kings arent budget
For my personal budget, anything above 40 cents is not budget anymore. XD
But it is true, I can get 3-4 Matcha Greens for the price of one Oil K.
True is a sense, just tossed them in for comparison
Try aniya switches.
Did you mod any of the switches (lube etc)
Nope, all completely stock. The Oil Kings and Gateron Pros are prelubed from the factory though.
@@HarvindG not even the Akko cs are preludes?
Lubed
@@HarvindG wow, I bet prelubed matches are really good
@@EmuRust these were the older Akko CS switches that weren’t prelubed. I haven’t tried the new lubed ones, but I’m sure they’d sound and feel even better!
Machas
Kinda deceptive, imo most of the switches here except the OK are clackier. I mean it's shown that most boards with higher profile keycaps tend to sound more "deeper". Additionally you're using a kbd67 lite , which is a "Thocky keyboard". I have used all the switches in the videos with cherry profile and all sounded clacky except the OK.
YMMV. Of course, there are many variables that contribute to the sound, but this were the results with this particular build. I've tried the Radiant Reds on other keyboards with cherry profile keycaps and they sound much more thocky than the Oil Kings.
Which one would u reccomend i get?
It’s super subjective, everyone has different tastes. My favourite are the Oil Kings
More like
Use foam for every switch to sound like this
( hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh )
None, hated them all 😂
What do you like then
@@Zliarx Clicky switches.
What is thocc anyway
a deep sound for keyboards. the quite opposite of clicky switches
@@FluffyhairgeekI know, thocc is defined by different things tho
Thocc is life
@@Fluffyhairgeekyou can make keyboard sound both thock and click at the same time. I made one. Great combo!
Sounds the same
Why are your oil kings so much, they’re not even close to $.90+ a switch they’re prices at like $0.65 lol, your def getting scammed
Никакой разницы
first is w
The first
the keyboard sound is a combination of all its parts so this switch in this board might sound "thocky" but in a different board it might sound clacky.
Completely agree! It's very subjective, a lot of factors impact the final sound.
one of the most helpfull videos ive seen in a long time
All the switches are under 50 cents except for oil kings
What are those keycaps called or if it’s prebuilt what keyboard is it
Thank you, please CLACK switch sir 🙏🏻 i need more info about CLACK switch please 🙏🏻
Milky pro yellow and the matcha green
This video is so clean and creamy!
Thank you, I appreciate that!
