Hey I found *_cheaper_* versions of sneaker shields for y'all (link in description) *Also I forgot to mention that it's important to make sure your shoes fit! If you're done growing (over 22) then you shouldn't be buying your shoes 1/2 size up anymore 💪🏾*
I'm old school so newspaper is my go to. I got foot wear 5+ years old and people always notice my foot wear and ask me how I found foot wear that came out 5+ years ago and when I tell them there not new . They trip out. So rotation , newspaper and most important wear a shoe for its season or weather.
Great video as per usual. Wanted to mention that plastic shoe trees are not usually recommended because they don't absorb moisture. The shoe also retains moisture longer because the plastic impedes evaporation. Cedar shoe trees like the one you use are the only way to go. If they are not within budget then newspaper will do the trick. Thumbs up.
Too many RUclipsrs think it's about them and talk about random, irrelevant bollocks before getting to the point. This was a no no nonsense video, informative and ad free. Thanks. I'll subscribe.
Yup. Should not be wearing same pair more than once a week. Every day wear a different pair and the ones you got will last way longer. It’s an investment. I still have pairs that look pretty new and are almost 5 years old.
Great video. Loved how you can get shoehorns for less price and can retain the shape of the shoe when not wearing them. All in all an informative videos. Thanks !!!!
New subscriber here, love your mix of content! Never seen sneaker shields before, will look them up. Definitely gonna look for shoes with stiffer leather next time I'm shopping
Great tip on the distinction of soft and hard leather with the intent of minimizing wrinkles in shoes, and reviewing over the shoe trees, like it, King.
I see wrinkles and creases as diff. I find wrinkles add more character and no where near as harsh. Some even argue creases add character and tell a story. All part of the fun for maybe more rougher sneakrs like jordans etc but for my more smarter shoes I think look better without creases.
Shoe Horns | Yep 👍🏽 I bought a couple after your other video! Stuffing my shoes/sneakers while traveling | Brilliant - I roll all my underwear so it just makes sense! Thank You! 👍🏽😎
What's up Devan...new to your channel...real quick, what's the brand of white sneakers you have in the video? The ones you were putting in the black bag and the cedar product was removed from? Been looking for an all around white sneaker...those are fresh!
I've got a pair of Kiton leather sneaker and a pair of Erimengildo Zegna leather sneakers that are both over a year old, worn many time and look like new... All I use is a cedar wooden shoe tree..
Thanks man i buy the air force 1 low top n like a month n it out of shape ... i dont wanna even see them . I love it ... got cop me a next one n get this shoe shield...
Yeah I’ve tried the Sneakers Shields before own like 4 pairs they’re good to avoid creases but the con is that tend to split and break so that’s why i don’t buy them anymore. I use them on my retro Jordan’s that’s it other shoes that I tend to use on the daily I just don’t even bother putting them in. Just an FYI for anyone that’s is planning to buy some
Hi Devan! I would like to know if you have any tips on synthetic shoes that may not breathe as well as leather. I bought a pair off boots for the looks and the trapped heat is making me rethink it. -please and thank you!!
DevanOnDeck I’m wondering the same thing honestly. Just haven’t seen one of your vids pop up in my feed unfortunately. Guess it’s time to catch up with your vids.
i didnt know wood shoe trees deodarise sneakers. useful information also i dont recommend those spring shoe trees. the adjustable ones are best because the spring ones usually deform your sneakers overtime
Thanks for the video. A lot of good tips. There's a trick with how you make your laces ... could help some creases sometimes (there are some videos out there / or you can make one). Peaaaace
Thanks for these tips bro I really learned a lot on how to maintain the good quality of the shoes like a good looking new shoes every time I wear it. I love you bro. Thanks a lot.
Didn't realize that newspaper could've been an alternative to shoe trees, works for me, thanks! Ps- I'm contemplating the 'crease guard' and if it'll do any good for me
Thanks for the stuffing with clothes while traveling... I would take my shoe trees with me and they weighed too much,,, making my suit case heavy. Fav tip... thanks D👍
Subbed. Genuinely great content, straight to the point and dense with information! Also side note, though I'm being pedantic, do not make it a habit of putting your leather items in plastic bags. In the case of a travel it's fine, however for extended periods of time leather needs to be kept in breathable fabric.

My tip for avoiding the creases is to have lots of shoes.
Yup. Should not be wearing same pair more than once a week. Every day wear a different pair and the ones you got will last way longer. It’s an investment. I still have pairs that look pretty new and are almost 5 years old.
I like this dude. Very to the point, no wasting time. Never clicked subscribe so fast before

The shoe trees.. I've never thought of something like that. Most useful thing I learned today.
Great video. Loved how you can get shoehorns for less price and can retain the shape of the shoe when not wearing them. All in all an informative videos. Thanks !!!!

Never squat while wearing leather shoes
GeorgeAyodele u can squat with heels on the ground
Asian squat???
@@jessicaji575 Wasn't it called the Russian squat ? I can actually do it, still pretty hard.
@@thomaszohren8812 Yea i guess so, honestly "the slav squat" is my favorite way to say it tho.

Thanks for the great video! What’s the best thing to do with brand new leather & suede shoes. I imagine a repellent but anything else you recommend?
I see wrinkles and creases as diff. I find wrinkles add more character and no where near as harsh. Some even argue creases add character and tell a story. All part of the fun for maybe more rougher sneakrs like jordans etc but for my more smarter shoes I think look better without creases.

Good video, I like your style man.
One more fun important fact.
The cedar shoe trees absorbs the moisture from the leather after wearing your shoes.
You are 100% correct // I forgot to add that one lol
