She plays a cigar box guitar. It is basically what it says, a cigar box with a piece of wood to put the strings on and a pickup built in to the cigar box. This one has four strings and it's as bluesy as it gets. She has several very fine guitars, but I really love this box thingy.
I’ve been following her for a long time, since 2017 or so I think. She’s great I especially like her older stuff like this when she had a three piece band. It’s a bit more raw and unpolished which I like. New stuff is good too. But check out her show on 2-13-16 at The Cutting Room in NY. It was 🔥🔥🔥 I found her through watching Beth Hart who is also great.
