I got into R/C because firearms were too expensive of a hobby but wow I didn't know how much R/C would be but I have to say it more fun than going to the range because you got to pay for range time pay for ammo RC cars you just find a road with no traffic and you just drive see how fast you can go or drift but man it's an expensive hobby to get into but it's fun got the armor felony my very first one I've had it for maybe a month now I've had to change the tires get a new front bumper just having a little problem keeping it straight it won't run a straight line it wants go off to the left

I love your videos. I just bought my first limitless it all stock for now. 6s 2200kv. 34 tooth pinion and I can’t get the thing to stop. I’ve turned the brakes all the way up and it barely slows down when I hit the brakes. Thanks.
Thanks on that I appreciate it for sure. The taller you gear, the less torque your motor has. So just like accelerating, braking also takes torque. So it's actually normal to have less brakes when you gear up significantly. Need to up your brake % on your esc

Nice rides. What shrink tubing do you use for your 8mm connectors? I always get the shock from the xlx. Should I leave some over the female like you do?
I use 3/8 size to fit over 8awg bullets. That spark is normal the battery is loading the capacitors in the esc

Nice runs dude 👍👍 would you suggest the 1100kv 2028 Castle motor over the 1650kv 1717 ? for speed runs in a limitless ?
yes, for its torque and efficiency
Overall the 1100kv is a superior motor. BUT. The 1650kv still holds a weight of its own. It has been at 150 mph before. But the difference is that the 1100 will be more efficient under load. Pick your poison!
@@InnovationRC Thanks for the quick and detailed response. Once i know the XLX2 issues have been resolved it will be time to dive in to big boy motors 😂 enough of the max8 in the limitless - was good to dip our toes in to speed running.

I think that kid hit 106 before actually. Lol I ran the 1100kv and xlx2 geared in overdrive. Use decent lipos and you'll get a triple digit number for sure

Absolutely anytime man. What I would do is call castle before purchasing anything with an xlx2. Have them test it out before they send it out so you don't have to do resend it back if anything happens.

You know what bugs me about the skyrc gsm020 when it reads the speed it has a decimal point like 23.7mph but when you read the max speed it doesn't? Anyway I'll finish watching the video now 👍🏻👍🏻

Both are great, both are nearly the same vehicle. Infraction comes with body posts to make it out of a gt car already limitless doesn't.
just build a custom chassis, fit 20s lipo and hit 300mph. 😅

Can you please tell me why you use such high mah on your batteries? I thought mah was how long your run time is also aren't they a lot heavier. Is the extra weight to keep the car on the ground? Please help me understand thank you.
