RC at its finest. Hats off to all the guys that took on the challenge of taking a basher to the race track. What a challenge and I want in. See you at the next race.
Amusing on-road mayhem. 😂 This must have been a learning experience for most of the guys. One lesson, I hope was learnt: that drag-racing speed shoots you straight off a road racing track, and in terms of battery power, less is more.
This is exactly what me and the DMV RC Assassin's do just without the nice built track. We're trying to get one made but time and money is holding us back. I love it though. This is the environment these cars really need to be on. And a good place to learn some throttle control. Whoever was driving that Infraction V2 is Kamakaze 🤣💯 it appears that driver doesn't have great vision on the back stretch cause you can see the lack of speed he used but when he came around closer to the camera side he would throttle hard. Now I'm not putting down no one, this is simply an observation. And a few things we can learn from seeing others drive especially on a road course. With apex turns. I just find very exciting is all. I would love to see more of these cars on a track and multiple drivers driving competitively and not wrecklessly. I would definitely jump at the chance to experience that. New Sub👍🏽💯😉
I am glad you enjoyed the video, we have a lot more 1/7 scale road racing content heading your way. It is a blast to hang out and race with your buddies. The Infraction V2 is my boy Ant, he was just having a good time. Slower is faster on this track!
@@NorCalMiniMoto 🤣👍🏽Ant was very fun to watch. My buddy Hollywood does the same thing but has calmed down a bit 😅 But yes please do more. It's cold over here so I'm need something to watch.👍🏽😆
Thank Kurt, I am not going to make it Saturday I am out of town of Thanksgiving and my nephews birthday. I can't wait to get my Limitless on the track!
Getting back into the hobby. Used to race alot back in the day. Tc3 and Tc4 and Losi XXXS racing was my choice of cars. Wondering if the Arma on road cars are good for bugger scale racing. Also in the bay area. Thanks again!
They are definitely a lot of fun once they ae dialed in. Out of the box they aren't the best "racecar" since they are a street basher but with the right setup you can get them to handle pretty dang well. If your coming to race Warm Spring anyone will share the right setup with you for the track so it's no big deal.
@@NorCalMiniMoto thank you for the input. I remember when Rams or the 5th scale guys uses to race at Mission college. Definitely been Awhile. Anyways man thanks for the info. Will definitely swing by for practice or race 🙏 take it easy 🍻
@@NorCalMiniMoto sounds good my friend. Where can I go to see RAMS schedule. Practice days and race days? Also do a lot of people race the 1/7th scale class?
Well they are On Road Bashers not really Racecars. When we started thinking about it, we figured more people had Arrma's then actual racecar sitting at home on the shelf and if we opened a class that could give your everyday rc enthusiast a chance to race. Ever since then it has been the biggest class at the track and we have figured to how to setup the Arrma and make them handle. It's a great class that I would recommend to any track!
Yes we all run the GRP tires S3 through S5 compounds. IT really depends on outside temperature, track conditions and so on. Last race I was running GRP S5 in the front and GRP S3 in the back. I am going to try some S4 up front at the next practice. Hope to see you out there!
With great respect I am thinking why don't you pick a rc on road like xray, I understand you like bashers but racers can be bashers, bashers can not be racers, it is like racing truggies, you can use them as bashers and monster trucks, they have the throttle and the ground clearness... And you can go on the track too, the only disadvantage is the appearance, bashers are old school and cool in design... Thanks for the video, keep up the good work...
I completely agree with you, the 1/7 Scale Arrma Class was a big move for the Bay Area. We have always had on road racing local but the 1/7 Scale Arrma Class has been a great way to introduce people to on road racing. They already have the Arrma car sitting on the shelf and are wondering where to drive it. We were getting 30-35 people in our winter series with A-D Mains. The Arrma Class will probably dwarf all other on road classes here this summer. I am definitely lookin into getting an actual on road race car to run too.
@@NorCalMiniMoto i agree there way more arrma owners than on road racers its pretty low in nyc i was thinking of doing a limitless street race series through nyc using parking lots and streets in the city. since we know street roads are not perfect it would make for good video and spectators to watch. people love the limitless and the infraction.

I have a Limitless sitting here on my desk ready to hit the track brother! I can't wait until the December race.
Lol this is great
It's the biggest class we have at the track now!
Let me come with my own Limitless
Bring it out, we would love to have yo join!
Does anyone know if that limitless was still using the spool or if it has a center diff?
Most of them were running center diffs back then and have seen gone to a spool.
If one of those guys would run 4s they would probably win.
Back then definitely. Now days there is no way, the cars are dialed in and turning 17-16 second lap times.
