It's good to see FTX stepping up the quality of their cars. I love their stuff, and have 7 so far. I hope the durability is as good as the looks on this. 👍🏻

I have a infraction v1 & v2 & a felony & limitless v1 & v2 & just bought that mustang but under fsr brand in blue color i can agree its the best looking by far then the limitless . For me

Great looking bit of kit. Not sure you could have found a more aggressive surface to run on! It’s basically a giant belt sander. 😂 I’m always looking for smooth, polished places to drift around with my vendetta so I don’t burn £50 notes every time I take it out.

Do you think you could put a infraction body on it?
Being a lifelong Mustang lover since 1964 and the Arrma Infraction and Felony I have to have one of these to go with my RC Mustang collection, the only thing I don't like is the same thing you pointed at, that stupid FTX sticker on the center of the grille but that's an easy fix.
I’m gonna hold for few more months. Parts not readily available yet in UK.
Why is the Infraction better than the felony?

I got thr grey Reely version. Very good car but leaves a bit to be desired. A faster stronger servo is a must. Not sold on the ESC at 150 watts. Tires are a very soft compound and will run bald fast.
Still need to find out about parts availability.
A bit expensive here in the States. All in all a good car.
How do cars like this do on crappy road surfaces? I'd love to see you rip one of these on a beat parking lot as an example. Where the surface is pocked and pitted and theres little rocks and stones and things, is it still fun, does it just break stuff?
If there was a lineup of different sport vehicles with this platform...then there could be a battle for licensed shells... looked real good on the sway. Good rip!!🏎️💨🏁👍👍
This car looks proper good. As far as talking about one car being a clone of another, we're at a point where most cars fit into the ball park of one design or another. The overal layout/designs of most RC cars per category have been pretty much pared down to what works best, barring someone coming out of left field with something unprecendented.
Even designs from back in the day are the results of designers copying eachpthers homework really. Cool vid as always btw.

🙄Pricey!!!😮💨 I hope they make more of them, with different colors of the mustang gt, I'm a long way off saving money, probably to do it around the next holiday ending or work it out after taxes, times are tough.(🤔+💵=🏦start saving) Great review (A-) Almost for the rc product.😅

I run a neutral camber on my 4wd drift basher otherwise u run out of plastic prematurely. Be interesting to see how the ftx goes after a few sets of tyres my mates got an infraction seems bullet proff
It's a nonbrand car that you can sell under any name. It's also sold as a Reely Deathwatcher XL 6S. I remember when i bought a Reely it was sold under at least 3 different names.
I saw it when you pulled of the pinion cover. The motormount was the same as on my 10 year old Reely Generation X. Even suspension arms are stil the same.
So, a tried and true design, with excellent parts accessibility and several years of experience from users?
@@BigFatCone It wasn't so for the Reely i bought. That was a wast of money. I was able to use the electronics in a real brand car.

Will the body fit the infraction? I can’t justify another 1/7 street basher, but I would happily run the body if it fits.
🤔It needs custom inner fenders for the mustang gt to stop paint rubbing, i hope you find something on ebay, good luck with that!😅
Ah, The rebranded FSR Mooel/Model GT, can't get parts for that yet either only wheels, tyres & shells. Looks like you need thoses already tho! 😜 👍

very nice car ...what size spur gear on the center diff is running in this car ?
Nooooooo complaints!.., The bodywork is beautiful! This is going to create competition with other companies making more detailed and equipped bodies but hopefully that does not lead to compromises with other aspects like the “servo” which can be replaced easily., just not compromises with aspects that would be pertinent or problematic. Overall I think it’s the best overall detailed rc to come RTR. It could use slight upgrades in a couple areas but then that changes the concept of this kit. I’m probably not the only guy thinking if that body will fit snug on the ARRMA platform.

Just got a Supaforza and its a beast. Camber alignment needs sorting as factory setting is was too much neg camber.
Stupid, stupid blinking turn lights. Who does that?? What a gorgeous car, all around - and possibly my next speed machine!) but SUPID STUPID LIGHTS. Just clip the leads off & replace them with 100ohm resistors (To keep the amps happy). Thanks for showing us this one, Phil. Looking forward to future tests.

Very nice shots, drive, always good content! I have the Infraction v2, Felony and the ZD Hoonicorn - this would make a great addition! Seems well made too, good that the Hoons fit - because yeah I’d need new tires often…
That said not sure if this will ever be a US sold car? I do feel like ARRMA has given up in releasing cool new stuff, last releases were entry level rehashes of existing cars. Maybe ARRMA is joining the under 1:10 scale wave, or just gave up 🤷♂️
For everyone that missed out on getting a Mashigan or even the Hoonigan bodied EX07, you better pick this up quick before Ford's Cease & Desist letter arrives.
The more popular it is and the more RUclipsrs pick one up the more likely that will happen in IMHO, which I believe that is what happened with FMS
That's not just camber that's also somebody who likes left turns more than right . That outside rear wheel takes the most beating when your sliding and watching you drive it was 90% left turns so that rear right took everything thrown at it.
Honestly, it was mostly the camber.. I’ll put a photo up on my community post later where you can see how bad it was 😅
@@TomleyRC I'm not saying bad camber didn't play it's part but your always going to get poor wear driving in one direction majority of the time and because the rear tyres are wider than the front you don't have the option to rotate tyres to get more longevity.

I measure the gap in the links with my calipers to set my camber/toe then just eye the angle... My eye is a precision instrument, especially when alcohol is added. (to my mouth not my eye) 😂

Oh yeah, don't skimp on a suspension set up kit. I remember being in the same boat and setting up a drift car with my "Keen senses". Its an investment!
I remember this car park from the tamiya video. That pavement looks perfect......they did a nice job of trowelling it but I bet it eats up tires.

Did you find a way to make the rear lights stays on all the time?
What is your thinking about real mini rc car 1:76 or 1:57 , as competition set 2 cars or 4 cars but WRC style with diaporama of famous track. Also what you know about coke can rc car. I building set like this but the track are totally different thinking.
