My dad had an excavation business when I was growing up. One morning when I was a teen my siblings and I were getting ready for school when my dad turned the radio up really loud. Suddenly we hear the morning DJ dedicate the next song to Joannie, love Andy. Then this gem started playing. I will never not associate this song with my parents. Even though their marriage didn't last in the end, this was one of the good, bright spots when there was genuine love, and I absolutely love it. I can't not love this song. ❤️

Worked at a farm/small store/bakery owned by the farm owners. They had a radio station they played where it was a playlist that never stopped repeating itself bar short news bursts.
This song played about 10 times per 8 hour shift, 5 days a week, for the 8 months that made up their business year, multiply that by three years.... Stockholm Syndrome in full effect. But he didn't write this, James Collins Jr. and Paul Overstreet wrote it, the first artist they pitched it to was Kenny and he jumped at it.
The story of how it got written is as good as the song itself. James and Paul visited a friend, the guy was out in the shop working on the restoration of a tractor. They asked if his wife got upset over all the time he was putting into the tractor, he sarcastically said, "No, the she thinks my tractor's sexy".....
On the way home, one of the guys said to the other, 'I think tha'ts a song.' Within 1/2 hour of walking in the door (of which ever writer's home it was) they had the song written.
This is the song that got me hooked on country music many years ago. I never get tired of Kenny's music.
