Thank you for the work on this. I'm sure it's been mentioned, but on desktop when a viewer pauses the video the red progress bar obscures the tab quite badly (and doesn't disappear). Might be an idea to leave a border a the bottom to allow for this? I'm probably wrong somehow.
Thank you so much for this! Only thing I've noticed is that you've written the tab for the fill at the 3 minute mark as pull-off 9th to 8th fret on G, but you're playing it 8th to 7th fret! Took me a hot minute to figure out why it didn't sound right when I played along lol
thank you for all these they have been helping me. i saw your own comment on your other video about not being able to mute properly. What i have been experimenting with is never really resting my thumb on a pickup or string, so that it is always muting whatever im not playing. sort of like a floating thumb.
Thank you much! Yes floating thumb is a technique I’m trying to learn and use almost in every situation, but while recording it’s hard to remember the correct playing technique because I’m focused on the correct execution 😖
This is an old video, I can't remember the sound set up, but usually playing Vulf I close a little bit the neck pickup and tone. And some software plugins are useful such as compressors...
Hey, Thanks for this awesome. I've been studying the fills and I'd like to ask you something. What key are the fills in? I'd like to get them in my vocabulary and play them in songs but I couldn't figure out that which keys I can play them over.
This is a strange song because of his chords, I cannot define precisely the main key. I'd say F minor with the major seventh (the E note). And then I play a Ab4 with a minor/major third, Bb4 with a minor/major third (same hand movement) and a Db major. The second descending riff is a F minor blues scale.
those two muted notes on the second bass fill blew my mind. thanks a lot for this.
It's actually
G|----8---7--------------------------------|
D|------------x-----8----6h7--------------------|
A|--------------x------0--------6--8----------------|
E|---------------------------------------6--8--4/6--4/6--|
how can i play those muted notes, i'm confused ahaha
@@rayanelkamel6242 fret hand covers string loosely without fretting, play the note as usual. Also called a ghost note :)
@@willdrumforbills1392 kinda late but just saying, the last 2 slides are actually 4/5 and 4/6 (dunno if he intended to play this though)
This is so in depth and is everything I ever wanted. Thank you
you forgot to show the neck parts
So satisfying to play I’m sure. What an incredible arrangement. Joe Dart. A beast! The best!!
Fantastic work, thanks. I think I’ll get the fills up to speed by around 2022.
This is your year bro

Thanks man, this has been really helpful, cheers from a fellow lefty!
We are the best!
@@LeftyBassman it's easy to see what you're playing lol, no need to flip it around in my head. Thanks for the tab, i figured this out because of it.
This is so helpful, thanks lefty! Have you ever thought of doing vulfpeck's skymall?
I have to listen it and decide whether is playable for me or not 😅
@@LeftyBassman haha if you do, don't worry about speeding up in the end , that part is insane 😬

Yes I know, this is one of my first videos and I wasn’t so skilled with RUclips 😊
Thanks a lot man. Going to jam this, if my finger speed will allow me....

I noticed this too. The play along tab is wrong
Excellent work! I'll be learning this tonight! Thanks!
+Fvcknut thank you! And from now you can also learn Back Pocket!
This is sooo well done. My only issue is that the tabs are really tough to see on a small phone. So it’s kinda my problem lol
