I just bought another PS3 to go along side my other ps3s. This one is fully backwards compatible, with the 4 USB ports and everything. Super excited to get back on home.

Home blew my mind back in the day. Going to the plaza, doing random dances, meeting real people connected through their avatars. It was pretty much a tame version of second life (I haven't played Second Life but I am aware of the historical importance of the game) for PS3. Does the PSN account connectivity mean that users will have to purchase content they didn't previously own? If so, who would that money go to and what's the legality around those purchases, considering the items have been pulled from sale?
Whatever you bought while Home was alive, will be already in your account. Most items in the PSN store are defunct, thus items can't be purchase. If an item in the store is available, all money is going to PSN. Any items that are not available will be free to all users.
Not sure if anyone knows this but there has been a game on the PS4 called "Four Kings Casino and Slots" and it's free to play. When I first played the game it took me back to the old days of PS Home. It's almost like it's a parallel universe of PS Home. The characters are the same as they were back then where you can get costumes, emotes and what not that you can either purchase or do random tasks to obtain certain items in the game. Is the developer team that works on this game related to the PS Home team from back in the day? Or could they have bought the game data from Playstation and just ported it to this game? It would be nice to have a collaboration of these groups along with the Destination Home developers to possibly create a PS4/PS5 version of a new PS Home. Let me know what you think.

@@NagatosRevenge I understand that I would need to hack my PS3 temporarily but once I have the client, would I ever need to use HEN again? Or are any additional patches downloaded via the server?
@@HarraYT The simple answer is no, the only time a client update would happen is if we have to patch something security wise which will give an announcement for that.
