kitkat37399 Thank you that means a lot. Just as this song means a lot to me. Im glad me and you are both still here to even talk about it because a lot of friends I knew aren't anymore.
+Jonathan Wright no problem. I too am glad we're both still here. Not too long ago I wasn't so sure I would be... I'm sorry you've lost friends along the way. That's a tough thing to swallow. I'm sure they're in a better place.
+American Beard Oil Alliance I agree besides his idol/friend Layne Staley... before his OD death. You can go back to an old Staind record anf find a song called "Layne" that he made after Layne Staley from Alice in Chains death. I love Arron but no one could sing a tortured soul song like Layne. Aaron is the only person to ever cover "Nutshell" and make me happy that someone ever TRIED to touch that song. Layne would of been happy. I absolutely love Aarom by himself just doing whatever he wants. He is a very very truly talented musician in multipl
......this song brings tears of extreme pain to joy..... powerful song with a lot great meaning to me.... as i am i recovering addict....7yrs 8months 17 days clean... happy i got beautiful wife, 2 healthy kids but no doubt the demons of addiction haunt me everyday.... thank god power of family, friends, god n music as this are here to help to keep on trucking...

amen brother i feel ya.. seven months clean its amazing what song can do.. nothing beats a song that makes you realize how messed up your life is.. i was in bed taking a hand full of pills and drinking when this song came on one night and i totally broke down and lost it and saw how much help i really needed.
+Jessica Dunn best advice jess i can give is take the first step and admit you are an addict then get help. its the toughest door to open IMO....there is the long battle the rest of your life, its not easy but i was fortunate to move and change people, places and things to start over, without that id be dead or in jail. thats me... i have a cousin that had same addiction, living in same area and 10yrs clean. everyone has their own path, its just very tough to start... you need to believe in yourself again, which you can, EVERYONE can!! i was also fortunate to have great family, friends, faith n music. there is also a song by "sad brad smith" called "help yourself" to me one of or the most powerful song that touch me on my addiction....... good luck Jessica and never stop believing in yourself, take that first step to open up that door you see n feel your old self....but them damn demons wont and will hold you back, you can beat them!!!
Best version, best audience they rocked it. I love this video because the audience and how much they appreciate Aaron. You can tell it meant a lot to him.
Awesome crowd! I always imagine what it must feel like, to write a song, perform it live and have the whole audience sing its words along with you. It must feel amazing.
I love how awesome the crowd was during this concert. They cheer and clap at the correct times and for an appropriate time. Music is why everyone is there and they allow him to play and for everyone to hear!
I'm 11 months sober off a 20 year addiction to opiates. This song gets me right in the feels everytime. This song explains it perfectly along with "Nutshell" by AIC
This song touches my soul because I went through depression and lost the love of my life. I struggled to get back to myself and this song helped me. I am proud to say Aaron Lewis’s songs Lost and Lonely, I Lost It All, and this song made me realize that man I was isn’t who I am. I am happy to back to the loving man I was and will always be from now on.
In my opinion, there isn’t an artist today who plays and sings with more emotion and conviction that Mr. Aaron Lewis! If I could steal a voice from anyone in history it would be this man!! God his music hits me hard!!!
Break the Cycle cd by Staind changed my life. Every song affected me so much. Outside was the first time I heard Aaron sing and I froze in my car. I had never heard lyrics like this and he pierced my soul with that voice. I have chaged so much since that time 16 years ago. I am in college taking psychology classes. Thank you Aaron for the story I love this song.
I've never felt so connected to one band or one artist before I started listening to Aaron. I feel every single song. I just want to make this post a thank you to Aaron. Thank you for every single song you have written. They mean so much to me, as I'm sure they do to many others also.
few shots of Jack and my guitar and finding this songs makes me pause and nearly tear up. Thankyou Aaron Lewis trying to cover and learn the lyrics of your work has gotten me through a rough time these past three weeks. If I did not have music like yours here to show me what is still possible out there, then I doubt I would have ever picked my guitar up again after the hardest change in my life. Thankyou, Its a honor to cover your songs, and I hope I will not dissapoint you, if I ever see you

Robert Plant, Ozzy, Dio, Freddie Mercury, Roger Daltrey, Chris Cornell, Shannon Hoon, Janis Joplin, Joe Cocker, Stevie Nicks, Grace Slick.... should I continue? Dude is great, but to say greatest of all time is a long shot when you consider how many voices you have to compare to.
I have never commented on any video(s) on you tube....but felt it necessary to express my appreciation for the incredible videos of this London performance. I've seen Aaron Solo a handful of times and never found any recordings close to this quality. Thanks again!!!!
No point in asking if someone’s still listening to this in whatever year for likes. Cause this song will always be loved cause it hits those special and messed up memories for everyone. There’s always two moments for someone listening to this song. When they enjoy it cause the quality of the song, and when you listen to it again later in life and truly feel this song.

It took years of hearing them on the radio, and now recently, going through some shit, listening to them non-stop, I can say I love staind and Aaron Lewis. Such good song writing and just as good of performances. Thank you for your music.
while i was waiting for him to sing, i really got excited after not hearing for so long... and for you who think he is underated, he was never underated... we grew up with his songs, he is the man.

Savage Tilley Don't know how old you are man but seriously, work out a date to kick for good, start cutting down slow up to that date and then stock up on whatever you need to get through that first 10 days. Valium, sleeping pills, hit the docs for something to help with the pain in the legs etc, try anything and everything that works. Otherwise you'll just dive downhill fast and your life will vanish, i know it helps at times but I swear man, that will soon pass and you'll just be taking it to stay alive. Goodluck

underated ? no. he is a star now.
Always loved him as a 30 year old. I’m 53 and excited to see him in concert in 2 months
Hearing a crowd sing along is one of my favorite things about music. It brings everyone together.
the man can write a tortured soul song like no one else can

Hows that?

This is probably the best live version of this song I’ve heard. Perhaps the best version period. Aaron has a lot of passion in his voice

Totally eternal, still resonates today as much as it it did when it was first released. Aaron Lewis is easily the overlooked voice of a generation
A man. A mic. A guitar.
This is music.

The craziest part is, Aaron made up the lyrics of that song on the spot besides the chorus. Super talented guy

This is no doubt the best crowd ive seen at any of his performances during his solo tour. I would love to attend one of his concerts on his solo tour with a group of folks as well behaved as you guys were. Randomly select 3 videos from here in the states and you will find on all 3 of them some drunk idiots screaming out and interrupting him every other second. I would like to say nice job and thank you for posting these.
Usually the crowd singing along with live recordings is annoying. But it was stunning here for some reason.
It's a different mentality in other countries. They are there to appreciate the artist and the performance. Here in 'merica people go to concerts to get drunk and sing or talk the whole time. There is actually a video around somewhere of Aaron getting pissed at the crowd for not shutting the hell up while he's singing his soul out
It sounds like he's performing to a small audience in a play room or something though.
