      This is a great performance by Aaron, but the MTV Unplugged version of "Nutshell" by Alice in Chains is ( in my opinion) the greatest live acoustic performance ever. It taps into a troubled soul that is crying for help, but sadly goes unnoticed. R.I.P Layne.

    This is just unreal... Ive been listening to Aaron my whole life, and his voice is unreal.
    What sets him apart is the emotion put into the songs. When he is singing Outside you can hear the pain that motivated him to write the song. A plus

    Such a beautiful song! The chick that yelled "What'd you say?!" after him explaining how hard it is to concentrate and Aaron saying "Right!" made my giggle and made my day! :P I suffer horribly from ADHD and have all my life. I will NEVER put narcotic medicine in my body for this! I will try any natural/herbal thing first, because the medicine is definitely not good for you. The struggle is real! -_-

  • @mickyfxstc011

    Most of us that play music for a living are ADD, High IQs but our grades never reflected it. But the rythym allows us to concentrate and the words just flow!

    • @SoftTacoDFXR
      @SoftTacoDFXR 9 лет назад +4

      artistic creativity, in my opinion, is the only way to show your intelligence. school only reveals what you can remember, not what you can create. art in all forms whether it be music, painting, writing, building, is the only way for us to get a glimpse of the genius behind the creator

    • @mickyfxstc011
      @mickyfxstc011 9 лет назад

      agreed Dom, I have been in studios so long, I cant remember songs Ive played for 20 yrs! If I try to think where I am in a song that I know, I close my eyes and see the Story like a movie in my Brain, But If I try to go back where I am in the song, I fuck up! I have to wait till my hands stop and I stop singing! LOL I was told by a shrink 10 yrs ago that was a friend, that Scientists like Von Braun, Thomas Edison, or A musician and the like Jimmy Buffet or Cat stevens , etc, If they were tested, the Best would be A.D.D. we have so much going on in our heads thinking way ahead of where we are, (Scatter Brained) But If we concentrate on that one thing that is where the Genius comes out! Think of the documentaries of those people and remember they were working on many projects at one time! I feel Privilaged to be ADD , Except when driving! Thank god for GPS's LOL

    • @bchawell7193
      @bchawell7193 9 лет назад

      Micky DeLoach I have ADD pretty bad, my son has ADHD that will drive you nuts, but my wife swears I have a memory for music unlike anyone else, I cant remember our talk at supper, but I remember names of bands and songs/lyrics that everyone has forgotten, I think my boy will be that way too, hes already got his fav songs and hes just 5, long story short I agree its a way for us to calm us and help us concentrate. I tell my wife its like Supermans fortress of solitude

    • @mickyfxstc011
      @mickyfxstc011 9 лет назад

      Absolutely! Most musicians and artists are ADD But the music tempo keeps us focused, Most Great Scientists were add too, Ben franklin would work on 3-5 projects at a time, Wernher Von Brun also, Beethoven would get bored with one Composition and would look around and see a composition he worked on a week ago and whe would work on of finish! Add is a Blessing Out Lord gave Artists and musicians!!! Yes it can even drive the add person crazy!

      +Micky Deloach i've met plenty of musicians that definitely did not have high IQ's...i think you are reaching a bit. most musicians are actually just as dumb as they look, and they really are just doing it because it's fun and they wanna get chicks.

      Stay strong brother, this too shall pass. Remember that feelings aren't facts, they eventually fade if we don't build stories around them and obsess about them, or try to push them away. Just let them come and acknowledge they're there then let them fall away. I hope you find peace brother. Take care

    It never really occured to me that this song dealt with ADD... it's so strange maybe I have ADD myself. I hear people... feel them... their words are directed at me. But i'm not there all the time... sometimes I get so immersed in thought I have to snap out of it. How I made it this far in life is beyond me... Anyway, this performance is incredible. Aaron really sings it so well... the song is very somber, but yet so beautiful at the same time.
