You can fake basically everything ... but you CAN'T FAKE GRAVITY! Some of those saves are amazing! Shows that there's skill involved that goes beyond acting in the ring.
17:12 lol it was just Carmella's gimmick. Her character was incredibly vein and self-absorbed so she would call herself that, and one of the commentators (Corey Graves, who is also her husband) would double down on it and really put her over. In a way it's kind of sweet.
One of my favorite things about wrestling was always how they looked out for each other. You can't do most of the stuff they do if your "opponent" isn't helping/letting you. So they hold each others lives in their hands.
Logan Paul saved Rey Mysterio at Crown Jewel. It was impressive not just because of the speed and strength he showed but also because he did it by instinct rather then from a experience. I’m no Paul fan, but my respect for his talent went up a lot.
Yeah you gotta give Logan credit where it is due. He is actually putting in the effort to perform and look like he belongs there. He isn't just banking on his "celebrity" status to make a quick buck by just showing up and half-assing it. If he wasn't already an established (and infamous) name from youtube no one would have thought twice about whether or not he belongs there.
Stevie Richards did a great breakdown of it. Yes,ogan was too far away but he reacted well and saved it. Don't like him but gotta give him his props for his dedication to working here.
Bruh Logan literally himself said he almost killed Rey, if he was a little closer he wouldnt need to "save" him besides Rey was in this brand for a long time he was ready to save himself.
You might be surprised to know this, but while some spots are planned, most of the matches you see are improvised, not rehearsed. Even a lot of the planned stuff is just part of an outline that the wrestlers fill as they go. The only things that are really fully planned are endings to matches and the sequences that lead to them.
There was one match I saw with Jericho and Jeff Hardy. Hardy jumped on the top rope and lost his footing and Jericho ran up and pushed him off the other side preventing Hardy from landing on his head. Another match with Jericho, his opponent got hurt and the ref didn't stop the match even after Jericho can be heard saying "He is hurt". Jericho went over and grabbed the ref which is an automatic DQ and ended the match.
That's why i hate when people say the WWE is all fake. Yeah, not really. It may be scripted but how they perform it is still real. Respect to all Wrestlers out there.
In 2007, I was sparring in Taekwondo; we were having friendly competitions however something went wrong; the week before, I had dropped a skim board on my toe, and broke the nail and bruised the bone. During warmups, I accidentally kicked the plastic sand part, my toe nail broke off, and it started bleeding. I couldn’t feel it, so I started sparring, my friend I was sparring locked me in an toe hold when he saw that my toe nail was missing, he switched to the other leg, so it was hurt anymore. Moral is, when you have trust with someone and they are looking out for you, it can be the difference in protecting vs serious hurt.
I saw a show where they were filming the training schools they go to. It did a great job of showing how hard they have to work to keep each other safe.
I love that you go headfirst into the wrestling world! I remember when I was catching on, just before Wrestlemania 25. And my first house show in 2015, sawing John Cena live! Goosebumps!
As some1 that has watched wrestling for awhile and worked on production side for some shows it is fun watching your journey into WWE and just who and what catches your eye
Yep, these saves are amazing, all right. That's why these folks are pros! 😉 Anyway: @17:11 That was Carmella's gimmick at the time... she was the _self-proclaimed_ "most beautiful woman in WWE". She even went to the trouble to put on a special mask to protect her face for some matches, lol. She's since dropped the gimmick, though. @18:50 Yeah, Riddle fights barefoot. As I recall, the main reason why is because his feet are really sensitive, so it hurts for him to wear most types of shoes. Also, he was an MMA fighter before becoming a wrestler, so fighting barefoot just comes naturally for him. Ironically, WWE gave him the boot just recently, lol. 😅
It's always funny seeing non/newer fans reacting to certain things about wrestling, and more specifically WWE, and it's strange ways of marketing/promoting like Bunny hearing Carmella be referred to as "the most beautiful woman in the world". That wasn't the narrator's actual opinion, that was literally a nickname that WWE gave Carmella at that time and how she would be announced in her matches 😂
Bunny, you gotta do some First To Last Match Bell To Bell reactions. Those videos could help you get to know a certain wrestler and what happened during their career. You can try with a wrestler you already know like Bray Wyatt, Stone Cold, Undertaker or Triple H.
"Guerrero’s in-ring collapse during the SmackDown episode was completely scripted. It did not happen in real life! The collapse was a follow-up to the storyline where he lost a significant amount of blood while defending the WWE Title against JBL at Judgment Day a couple of days earlier."
Live shows are more relaxed and fun as they r not televised and canon to the storylines. Even wrestlers break character to interact with fans in hilarious ways
Asuka Saving somebody by kicking them in the head feels so correct. That's why she's my favorite wrestler. I don't know if you watched Crown jewel. But Logan Paul literally Saturday saved Rey Mysterio's neck. Ray was going to hit a springboard frog s flash. I believe but he didn't get enough time Airtime or Logan was not in the exact right place. So Logan rushes forward and falls to his knees in order to catch ray and then transitions it into like a power slam. If he had not, ray would have landed directly on his head, improbably broke his neck if not at least severely injured himself
Good thing they are pros and they are being there at the right time😊 It’s scary how close these wrestlers we’re close to having a injury or worse Thanks Bun Bun for the awesome content😁❤️
enjoyed the reactions as always, so thank you for improving my day. i could recommend so many videos for you to watch on wrestling (even if i keep it to mainly wwe) i think i could easily put together a whole playlist for you to choose from. 🤔
About Gangrel, that was in late 90s, WWE at that time didn't make as much money as now, so 5 Grand was a huge amount of money for the accident on the show.
Ho boy a lot of these really stretch "save" some of them the opponent is just there like they should be. Others are just normal set ups for moves like the buckle bomb.
he's 5 foot 2 inches. (157 cm).. not exactly "average size" but he's not a 'short person' either.. and also not a kid, he's 27, and at least at the time, was a contracted wrestler.
@@briwanderz anyone who is 5 foot one is actually considered average in the states. The below average is 4 foot 9 inches. 6 foot and above is above average. Most people average around 5 foot 2 inches to 5 foot 3 up to 5 foot 6 so he’s bare minimum normal.
Trust me Bunny! Someone WAS hung publicly in WWF! Also, Carmela is NOT the most beautiful. Nia Jax looks better than her. Plus, the guy with no shoes ALWAYS wrestles barefoot. He got frostbite as a kid on his feet and can't wear regular shoes without his feet feeling like they are on FIRE!
Jazz is a real problem in wrestling as she is just not very cooperative in anything. She will start fights backstage for no reason and management tires of her quickly.
You can fake basically everything ... but you CAN'T FAKE GRAVITY! Some of those saves are amazing! Shows that there's skill involved that goes beyond acting in the ring.
Dutch Van Der linde aproves the Gravity Part 🤡

Just an FYI thing, Carmella at the time was calling herself "The Most Beautiful Woman in the World." Which is why the presenter called her that
was going to post the same... also i think Corey Graves (her husband, now, i think they were engaged then) probably said it on commentary.

Asuka is one of the best wrestlers WWE has ever had. she is so ingenious, fast thinking, creative, agile, is a phenomenon to witness.
Bunny is not ready...For Asuka!!
Love your Rhea Ripley Tshirt.
people like to say that Wrestling is fake, but what is REAL is the pain wrestlers go through and the comradery they share as they suffer together.

I love the videos from Tap Out Corner. I strongly recommend watching more of their videos

Bret saving Michael is unbelievable 😱
both of them are professional despite a lot of heat backstage both of them still save each other during the match to prevent the injury

Great idea
that clip of eddie collapsing was real, he had a heart attack in the ring.

This past Saturday at WWE Crown Jewel Logan Paul saved Rey Mysterio from spiking his head into the mat & possibly breaking his neck
I'm sure someone else has probably mentioned it but if you can find it, "Wrestling isn't wrestling" is REALLY good. Also, loving the t-shirt choice 👌
It hurt like hell when you are watching wwe it gives you chills watching it. Bunny hope you have a wonderful Tuesday.
I remember this ,gangrel say no but they force him do it ,he almost dead
Good thing they are pros and they are being there at the right time😊

it’s so cool to see you wearing that wwe shirt😃
It still hurts
Good smooth luck with the move.
Seeing a show live is soooooo fun ❤❤❤
Do the Black Mass Compilation
They don’t script matches anymore. Usually they call the match in the ring, with the exception of large spots meant to get huge reactions.

If you're interested or havent heard WWE is having a PPV event in Berlin this coming August you should try to go!

Carmella was called the most beautiful woman in the world because that was her gimmick at the time

Kind of depressing that thats mizs only mania main event and he doesnt even remember it
FYI, "The Most Beautiful Woman on Earth" is Carmella's tagline. So, it's not the commentator's claim.
👍 Quick like a bunny.
What is the song she used at the beginning of the video? 🤔
