Knowing that Vickie and Rey gave him the ok to say it probably made it easier.

Randy Orton tore up a little kid’s sign at a WWE live event I was attending in 2008/2009 time period. It was the best bad guy move ever. John Cena went over to the kid and made sure he was ok. There is a Dark Side of the Ring episode on the Fabulous Moolah that documents some of her evils that are widely believed and told by female wrestlers spanning around I believe the 70s-90s. Bunny, the thing about "The Legend Killer" version of Randy Orton is that it was very well done, and followed tradtition. As wrestlers get older, they want to do for the next generation what was done for them: Give Back. When new guys come in, it's "expected" that the older guys "give them the rub" (meaning, make them look good). It doesn't matter if the new kid wins or loses, as long as they appear to be a star. Randy's father was active in the 1980s, and I remember him very well. His grandfather was active in the 60s, but I don't really remember him much (I was born in the late 1960s, remember?). Randy was touted as the "First THIRD generation Superstar", and great things were expected of him, partially based on how he was built up and pushed. Don't get me wrong... Randy is VERY talented, and was well deserving of the push he got. The fact that he "got the rub" from SO many legends (as the "Legend Killer") speaks to how highly those veterans of the ring believed in him. Of course, that was 20-odd years ago. NOW, Randy is "giving back" to the next "up and coming generation", by giving THEM "the rub", and taking losses to further their careers. I have nothing but respect for the man, because of how much he's grown as a person over the decades.

I Remember Watching Randy Orton Back in 2009 When I Was Like 7 Years Old and He Was Definitely A Menace Like The Things He Did Took WWE to Another Level
Yeah, Peak Randy was truly something else.... @2:50;Trust me, if you knew more about Moolah's history, you"d definitely agree she deserved what she got, old or not....
Yes, a long-running rule in pro-wrestling is that if one gets disqualified, a title does not change hands. The idea is to prevent potential issues where a champion might accidentally get DQed for some reason. It's a "championship advantage" as a result. And yes, it's basically a cheat code. This is why WWE and other companies have many matches that do not have the DQ rule attached.
Love this explanation and it is all true, but the rule is also there as part of the psychology of wrestling. Fans are supposed to want to be like the babyfaces, and hate the heels so much that they buy a ticket to see the heel get beat up. That's also why the babyfaces are supposed to look like they're better at wrestling than the heels. That makes it very damaging to a babyface (from a fan's point of view) if they lose a match without shenanigans. The "DQ to save the title" rule lets a heel champion look worse than the babyface, but still keep the title without the babyface actually getting beat. It provides a logical reason for the babyface who gets screwed like that to challenge the heel champion to one of the many "no disqualification" match types.
Heel Randy is probably one of the greatest heels of all time. One of the most ruthless, brutal heels ever. He would go to those levels of evil, and make it look so believable. He was and still is one of the best at what he does. He had just been out of action for 18 months and was thought to have to retire at one point due to back injuries, but he just returned at their PPV/PLE last weekend, and he's a good guy, at least for now lol.
Randy orton was savage and the most hated character in the wwe history. From being the legend killer to being the Viper he definitely was a menace villain in this video.
Getting DQ'd or counted out means you lost the match, but your opponent didn't beat you, so, through something called "Champion's Advantage", the title stays with you. Usually when that happens, they have another match later under No Holds Barred
There's also some matches where they add a stipulation that the title can be lost via DQ or count-out essentially nixing the champion's advantage without turning the match into a no DQ match. Usually to even the odds for a babyface and get them the win or to add credibility for a heel.
In pro wrestling, there is a "Champions advantage" rule. This means to lose a title, the challenger has to get a pin or make them submit. A disqualification or countout by either man (or woman) in a match and the champion retains the title, win or lose.
a memorable Randy Orton moment was when the fans were doing random chats and at some point they said We Want Divas and Randy Orton presses and holds the Taunt button to charge up his "arms out sniff the air" pose

Titles can't change hands on a count out or disqualification. You have to win the championship via pinfall or submission. This rule has become important as a storyline point a few times down through the years. And there are at least a few examples of heels deliberately getting themselves counted out and/or DQed to protect their titles, but nobody's ever done it quite as blatantly as Randy did.
I actually did remember back in 2005 when Randy Orton and Undertaker had their first rivalry on Wrestlemania through Armageddon and they had a good match 👍
Bunny on the disqualification that is something they will add if they have another match first match you hit the ref you lose but keep the title second match with that speculation added you hit him you lose both the match and title
The whole "slapping the referee" move was clever lmao. During a championship match, if the champion get themselves disqualified whether its using a weapon, attacking the referee, using illegal moves like the low blow or get himself counted out; they'll lose the match but can retain the title. Only way a champion loses the title in a championship match is by being pinned or submitted. So Orton IQ was godly that day against Cena lol
With Raw moving to Netflix next year they will no longer be limited to the TV age ratings or censorship from networks so we hopefully see them return to the attitude or ruthless aggression era storylines.
Randy was a 007 villain but the 2 MAN POWER Trip Triple H and Stone Cold was on a different level Lita probably still feels what they did to her every time it rains

It was NOT done very well and I feel like that was because Dean himself didn't want to do it. The guy who made the video is talking about (ISIS, the terrorist group) but Isis is also a name. Not super common but I've known a few people named Isis. Its a female name based on the Egyptian goddess. Isis is the wife of Osiris (his sister too but thats not important lmao) which makes her to Queen of that Pantheon.

Randy was a real handful backstage for some time. Basically he thought too highly of himself. He had a major attitude adjustment when he was put into the hell in a cell for the first time as he was busted open for real, and when undertaker clocked him good. Randy unfortunately has a slight smoking habit which he’s working on. Randy has really mellowed out in the last few years becoming more of a guy that is reliable and can teach the new guys well. Unfortunately he’s been out due to back injuries and required surgery so was out for over a year. He’s supposed to back soon with survivor series on the horizon. Not sure as his cleared status is kinda up in the air still.

You should react to Don’t tell a wrestler that WWE is fake next
