I got a lot of respect for you bunny with everything you do I've been reacting to you for years now and you always make my days better whenever I react to you so thank you your the best.
Wrestlers' court was a form of self-policing in the WWE locker room for many years. The idea was to hold mock trials - often with The Undertaker presiding as judge - to deal with backstage incidents and squash any beefs between wrestlers.
They don’t get paid the same bunny, they just get the same amount each month. But every wrestler has their own contracts and the best ones will get paid more.
I got a lot of love and respect for you bunbun with everything you do I've been reacting to you ever since 2022 when I first saw your channel and you always make my days better and happy 😁 so thank you so very much you're simply the best ❤️🎉
CM Punk got heat for saying it, but he did say that guaranteed money has sort of ruined wrestling. Because wrestlers no longer feel the same need to push themselves creatively to make sure the attendance is high by for example working with people you dont really like or taking a loss to a big star because you know it would increase attendance. He was specifically talking about AEW though.
From a old school WWE guy to the younsters watching today, the 2000's WWE was very fun and entertaining to watch. I atually grew up as a WCW kid and when they got bought by big vince it was a adjustment but it was still ok. I missed out on the Attitude Era but loved the Ruthless Agression Era. Around the time after the invasion angle ended in WWE was when it started to get really good imo. Also, I loved the Smackdown Six era, like most others. Maven did grow on me around 2003-2004.
Flight from hell was the big hurrah from the old timers. The guys in NXT usually go to a bar and eat after a big show. That’s what happens in Orlando when the big NXT shows end as they go to downtown Orlando to church street to eat and drink the night away. Church street has really changed from the big dance clubs to more restaurants with bars attached, and a few lounges to smoke or just enjoy a drink or two. I know the Rocky’s replay is still around which has older games but a nice bar to just have a few drinks at. Sundays the performance center is closed and the wrestlers get a day off. Some go to church others just hang out or whatever, it’s really up to them. I know a few wrestlers that go on dates on Sunday so it’s quite common.
27:00 - I may not drink, but I know Zenith - they're THC-infused caffeinated cold brews...and secretly working on a custom drinking trivia game for someone.
I love Mace & Mansoor, their Maximum Male Models gimmick was absolute gold and their Making It Maximum RUclips series is the single best thing WWE ever put on RUclips. WWE releasing them was a terrible move.
@@DustyVitaYep but I think Mansoor should come back to WWE since Vince is actually gone now. When he left Vince wasn't gone yet until the Big bombshell reports officially came out and force him to step away.
Brock is actually an absolute freak of nature not a roid user. He was just absolutely jacked since middle school for no reason. He joined the weightlifting and wrestling team in high school because of his unique body. He joined a college wrestling team and he went to WWE after graduation. Brock is also unusually smart for his physique and can do complex math that makes my head spin. The man is a freak of nature that is ridiculously smart.
Keep in mind that wrestlers also get a share of their merchandise sales (if they sell a significant amount) etc in addition to their normal payment. So they are being motivated to work harder or better nowadays, too. The more popular you are among the fans, the more merchandise you sell, the more you get paid. Wrestlers also get additional money for their video game characters etc. PS: I wouldnt say they are getting ripped off. They get paid like most workers in western countries (guaranteed money), only much more, obviously, with potential bonuses.
I bet he felt really old. The company has changed so much and it's so much more professional and kind of sanitized and the culture is so different that he didn't understand and couldn't relate to some of their experiences and they didn't get his either. It's understandable because it's been almost 20 years since Maven was in WWE, but that's precisely what would make one feel old. It's inevitable but it still kinda sucks
About the "banned words" thing, that's another of Vince's eccentric rules back from when he was in charge. He had this weird tendency to "censor" certain terms/phrases from being used on air in recent years. For instance, for the longest time, even using the term "professional wrestler" was more or less taboo under his watch. Instead, all the talent were simply referred to as "superstars" (and the women "divas" before that designation got dropped about a decade back). Related to that, "professional wrestling" became "sports entertainment". Oh, and did I mention that you had to say the entire word "disqualification" instead of shortening it to "DQ", or "medical facility" instead of "hospital"? Heck, the fans weren't even allowed to be called _fans_ .... instead, they're collectively known as the "WWE Universe". You'll notice that most of these "corrected" terms are still in use today, but far more sparingly since Triple H took the helm. As for the exact reason _why_ Vince felt the need to police the grammar of his product? Eh, I just chalk it up to him being a controlling old bastard (which is pretty much what he's always been, lol). BTW, something amusing to note is that AEW actually made fun of Vince's wacky terminology a couple years back with the Jericho Appreciation Society faction. The idea behind the group was that they were all "sports entertainers" who looked down on "professional wrestlers". They even referred to the fans as the "AEW Galaxy"! It's also fitting that Chris Jericho was the group's leader since he had nearly 20 years of experience under Vince's creative umbrella.....
Actually they have pay scales now basically you get a certain amount for lower tier guys, mid tier guys, and the main event guys earn a million. Maybe more as you climb the ladder. NXT guys get paid pretty much the same every week and it’s still a lot.
Actually you get a copy of a title for your house. It’s something that trips keeps around. He simply likes the policy. Those titles are like 30 pounds of dead weight and it’s actually hard to carry them around. What WWE does is have a large tool chest that titles go into after the match to keep them secure. The entire company creates custom plates with your logo on it and the guys simply screw in or out the plates saving time. They don’t do custom belts like they used to back when cena created that spinner belt.
If we were talking WCW, the champ would have to put a deposit in the belt, and when they dropped it, they turned the belt in and got their money back. That's was the problem with Flair sitting his first run in the 90's.
Yes there on steroids...... love the channel found out about your channel from Maven's channel. Keep up the great. Do a show regarding rap, wrestling, or football or basketball
I knew some of this, I'm glad to hear of people who lived it. Also, wow wwf (it will always be wwf to me) is toned down, I watched wrestling from 84 until 2003. And I got to say wwe backstage is toned down, it is a good thing though.
The wellness policy was a godsend as it really forced wrestlers to reevaluate their own needs as you had to pick either being jacked but can’t wrestle worth a crap or take time to perfect your ring performance. Most wrestlers chose to work on their ring performance and it showed. Jeff hardy really screwed up as he got hit hard as he kept getting drunk. Also Alicia fox got let go because she kept getting drunk before shows and was caught.
The leader now is Randy for the guys as he came back from injury although kofi steps up as needed. For the women it’s Becky but as she’s leaving Nattie is next although Naomi has been stepping up lately. Kairi has some sway but she has some heat for the Saudi show. Asuka got injured but she also stepped up. Mayu iwatani who Asuka lost the main title in stardom stepped up to take the locker room leader spot. Njpw it was okada but when he left for AEW naito stepped up. Njpw has a lot of old timers that stayed with the company through its troubles. It’s now a thriving name and where wrestlers want to be.
Vince McMahon hated certain words and would not allow his wrestlers and commentators to say them, hence they couldn't say belt as opposed to championship title, because a belt holds up your pants.
yeah, paying system in WWE and honestly any pro wrestling company is very questionable. Not only that, WWE wrestlers are independent contractor, which they have no benefit and no health insurance, but when wrestler got injured, WWE paid the surgery and rehab
No every wrestler gets a cut of the ticket sales that day and the largest amounts go to main eventers. Although wrestlers push their own merch before the event to earn money. Japanese wrestlers do that a lot.
You’re misunderstanding the getting paid one. Each wrestler gets different money, but they are consistently paid the same amount week after week. Wrestler’s court is an outdated “boys club” where certain veterans would bully younger guys and do this like kick them out of the locker room and make them change in the halls/outside. Mace and Mansoor have not workied for WWE for a while now. Most recently, they’ve been on the indies wrestling in companies like GCW.
16:50 Roman Reigns isn't that muscular actually. He's not as big as Maven was in that picture. A better example would've been Batista but yes, many wrestlers didn't look as big and they were probably on as well as the bigger guys
Zima's were like the OG Sminoff Ice back in the 90's and early 00's.... it was like a Sprite with alcohol in it.... often associated with a specific sexual preference... lol
Wrestlers nowadays are waaaay smaller than back in the day. Some of them are still likely on them today, like Brock Lesnar. He actually got busted for using them while being in the UFC. Other ones probably are more on some type of TRT and bonus approved by WWE doctors. But who truly is on them is actually The Rock. Two of the ones I would suspect to be on TRT are AJ Styles and Randy Orton currently. But I honestly do not care much since hard work is still needed. Far back then even the chubby fat guys were on them which is Kind of a joke tbh.
of course, as for being influenced by others, you may feel some pressure. But just be yourself, your subscribers follow you for a reason: they like who you are, so changing yourself or your style to copy other you-tubers with more followers may not suit you well. Instead of playing games and change into someone who is not yourself, be authentic and be your true self. Have a nice day.
Right now WWE fans are actually mad that AEW wrestlers on average are getting offered more money than what WWE offers them. It's maddening because they should be mad at WWE, as the standard-bearer for 20 years, for underpaying wrestlers so much in comparison to so many other sports. They shouldn't be getting mad at the company wanting to raise that standard.
WWE's pay system is pretty awful. And it was actually only recently they started paying for flights for all talent, but they still don't cover a penny for hotels, car rentals, anything. Thankfully other major companies pay 100% of travel and lodging, and no dumb bucket system. Lol
I laughed so hard at "Who decides who gets paid what?" "The wizard. On the mountain."
Mason Madden & Mansoor are awesome and underrated
great talents
I was so sad to see these two get released. They are amazing talents.

Aka kangaroo court. Really common in team sports
Edge and Christan are the ultimate trolls.
This video should DEFINITELY emphasize the difference in how rough and tough WWE used to be vs now.

Yeah it was changed.
They're InsideMxM now
Thanks; just found and followed them.

Paige was the last big prank. It was CM Punk that got her as he came back to WWE. Paige and punk are good friends and was like really.
