One of Maven's latest videos has him talking to recent WWE wrestlers. They discuss how things were in Maven's day and how things are now. You'd probably find that interesting.
But when a wrestler blades alot they start to get a scar on their forehead. That’s why guys like Sabu, D Von, New Jack, Dusty have scratches on their forehead
And then you have someone like Jun Kasai who is basically covered from head to toe in scars thanks to the fact he's probably the greatest deathmatch wrestler of all time and that of course involves a lot of glass and barbed wire and stuff.
During the Wrestlemania 17 match between Austin and The Rock, you can see the entire sequence leading up to the blade job, and then the referee Earl Hebner looking around for something. Then he picks something up and puts it in his pocket.
I’m really enjoying your reaction to Maven he’s really underrated in my opinion really since he was pretty good as a pro wrestler to me😊thanks bunbun for the video hope you watch more of his videos in the future
I love these tricks of the trade type videos, cause i honestly thought all these years that the chairs had to be fake or rigged somehow...but i learned something new here..pretty cool. Great upload bunny👍👍👍
Bunny, the ropes being in the front part of the neck would squeeze his airways, but compressing the neck on the sides actually closes the arteries carrying blood (and therefore oxygen) to the brain. You can breathe all you want, if it doesn't reach your brain you'll pass out, so that's the idea of it being on the side of his neck
Just wanna say there's a reason wrestlers don't let OTHER wrestlers blade them, doing it to themselves every time it is needed. Look up the New Jack/Mass Transit incident in ECW in the 90s - pretty grim stuff without knowing who Mass Transit was.
Some of the wrestlers who were really big on using roids in the 80's, 90's, and 2000's were Hulk Hogan, The Dynamite Kid, 'The British Bulldog' Davey Boy Smith, Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit. They wanted to look as big, strong, and as muscular as possible on TV. Simply because they were getting nationwide and even worldwide exposure.
I wasn't a huge fan of wwe superstars getting color(bleeding) like maven explained some a lot of superstars did it use to happen a ton now it's a lot rarer fantastic reaction love you bunny 😊❤
They usually hide someone blading by having the other wrestler get the audience's attention. I've seen them taunting to the crowd, arguing with a referee, or grabbing weapons from somewhere. Also the guy blading would lie facedown as the did it so even if you were looking right at them you still might not see it.
I've been a wrestling fan for 25 years and never noticed the left side thing. Noticed guys selling the wrong leg or arm before but now it makes more sense how that can happen.
What's interesting about the glass thing is that sometimes, real glass IS used in a match. It's rare, but it happens. In fact, the incident that led to CM Punk's firing from AEW was Jack Perry insisting on using real glass in a match over Punk's objections (Jack even went as far as to taunt Punk on-camera when he did the glass spot). That's just how crazy the world of pro wrestling can get, whether it's in OR out of kayfabe.....
Funny EZ money was the one who gave him that blade trick considering EZ rarely bladed. I know EZ well, we wrestled each other often and he lives 5 minutes from me. I also laughed when I first watched this because the don’t let the fans get it. Which is true 100%. However once while I was still training I was at a Smokey mountain Wrestling show, Tracey Smothers and Tommy Rich were having a brawl into crowd and both were bleeding. Tracey and I were already friends. He stumbles over to me hands me his blade, as the brawl back by, Tommy does same thing and the ref Mark Curtis, who was part of the training crew for me, laughs and tells me bring them to him later.
Maven is awesome I've seen a lot of his videos he is one of my favorites would love to see you react two more of his videos in the future thank you for another awesome video bunny keep up the great work ❤
Bunny, to make you feel a little better, most of the blood leaking on the wrestler’s face isn’t blood. Sometimes, it’s actually the sweat that turns red unless you’re Eddie Guerrero and bleed ridiculously.
Yep, she just needs to learn about what’s going on currently. She usually watches the PPVs but not the show which leaves her with no context. She’s doing great tho.
One guy back in the 90's taped his blade to his wrist in a tag match I think (I think Mick Foley talks about it it one of his books if I'm remembering correctly), during the match it moved in his wrist tape and the guy ended up cutting the other wrestlers accidentally multiple times throughout the match. One of the reasons WWE banned blading (other than Mattel and the PG era) is John Laurinaitis gave the ok for Randy Orton's dad (also a famous wrestler, Cowboy Bob Orton) to 'get colour' during Randy's feud with Undertaker, knowing that Bob had Hepatitis. Undertaker was furious and rightfully so. Luckily Undertaker did not catch anything
the secret to the hangman trick is to not have ears! ask Mick Foley and as for why they use sugar glass : Kurt Angle vs Shane McMahon King of the Ring 2001. there you can see what happens when the crew fucks up and uses real/plexi glass
Hey bunny . Love your content Think you would enjoy reacting to some historic matches if you have access to peacock or the WWE network: -Stone Cold vs Bret Hart at Mania 13 -Stone Cold vs the Rock at Mania 17 Shawn Michaels vs undertaker at -Mania 25 (or 26) and in your house: bad blood 1997 (first hell in a cell match - ever) -shawn Michaels vs Chris Benoit vs HHH at Mania 20 (arguably the greatest triple threat of all time) -Edge vs Mick Foley at Mania 22
I learn the secret of the blade from a Puerto Rican wrestler named huracan Castillo he was partner with savio vega in los boricuas years ago. but I think the style change because he did it in the 80's
If you compress the windpipe(the front of your neck) thats called an asphyxiation choke and those are rare to pull off with anything you actually have little rings of hard cartlidge around it plus the muscles to protect it, the sides is actually way more dangerous the blood supplied to your brain comes entirely from one pathway on each side, your jugular vein and your corotid artery both of these run down each side of your neck if one of these is blocked, severed or compressed your brain has now lost its blood flow which is obviously very dangerous you're essentially forcing a stroke
I honestly prefer when you don't know most of the secrets, especially this early your "fan era" you can catch up with the documentaries and story lines but i don't think "knowing the magic" is that interesting
Honestly, I heard in WWE now'a'days you don't have to bleed in you don't want to... idk if that's true But lately they been showing more blood on TV so more people have been doing it lately
The silly thing is that while blading/gigging is seen as barbaric and outdated, it's much much safer than if someone decides they want to go against protocol and get blood by legitimately punching or elbowing someone in the head or running their own head into the post in order to open up a cut. I think Lesnar and/or his opponent were concussed more than once because they wanted blood but were banned from gigging.
Bunny react to Every Time Kane Was Unmasked In WWE by Cultaholic Wrestling I really enjoy the videos as a life long wrestling fan it's cool seeing you get more and more into it cheers.
Bunny please react to this video The Final 24 Hours Of Hana Kimura by Age Of Wrestling. Because Hana Kimura was such a great wrestler I feel like all wrestling fans should know who she is.
Blading is actually outright banned in WWE. It was like that since around the women’s revolution or something. Any real blood on television is done the real way by actually beating people senseless. Randy orton did it that way as he was beaten to a pulp by Brock during a match. Most WWE guys focus on a couple of aspects. The ability to talk in the ring and the physical aspects of doing long matches. Actually all WWE guys have a second job that they do just to earn money not from the business. The Undertaker has a real estate business. The Bella twins are real estate agents under their real names. JBL has a stock brokerage that he runs with his wife. Seth Rollins runs a wrestling school. Becky lynch became a published author. The hardy boys run their parents’ farm in the Carolinas. Lita is a musician when not with the WWE. Bianca and Montez run an online store with lifestyle stuff. Everyone has something.

you want to know about proffecional wrestling. then watch wrestling veterans like Jim cornette, Dutch mantel and others who also have RUclips channels and their stories. also recommend watching old school wrestling from old wwf, wcw,Nwa, WCCW the golden era of real wrestling. not a lot of scripts back then only feuds and a few storielines.
I highly recommend SuperEyePatchWolf's videos about wrestling. He is a huge fan and creates the most captivating stories. "The Unreality of Pro Wrestling" is probably the most famous one.
Don't worry about your allergies, you sound fine. You kind of have a naturally nasal high pitch voice, so there's not much difference. You always worry if you sound ok, if the video is ok. Don't worry so much, you're doing fine, for real.
I still find it sad that as a new fan you are exposing yourself to all the secrets of wrestling early on in your fandom and leaving yourself no mystery. I worked in the business for 15 years as a referee travelling all over Europe working with some of the biggest names in wrestling and when I retired I quickly found out that I wasn't able to watch wrestling again in the same way I did as a kid and before I got in to the business because I had seen behind the curtain and now when I watch wrestling I watch it knowing the secrets and looking at it from a more critical stand point which is a shame in some ways but no regrets I absolutely loved my time working in the business and meeting all the people I did and working in front of thousands of people and touring all over the place.
Hi Bunny, hope Maven loves you back, who knows, maybe he'll drop you a line lol. You live next to a school with yelling teenagers? LOL poor Bun Bun. Maybe Meatcanyon can do a video segment about your life :D

For instance, they don't blade themselves anymore. When someone bleeds these days it's a legit accident 99% of the time.
But when a wrestler blades alot they start to get a scar on their forehead. That’s why guys like Sabu, D Von, New Jack, Dusty have scratches on their forehead
I think Abdullah the Butcher could fit gambling chips through his forehead scars lol
And then you have someone like Jun Kasai who is basically covered from head to toe in scars thanks to the fact he's probably the greatest deathmatch wrestler of all time and that of course involves a lot of glass and barbed wire and stuff.

Bunny lives in a gulag and that scream was someone getting caught trying to escape
I'm guessing that individual was never seen or heard from again.

I noticed it is more rare now
I like the insights Maven gives.
more Maven videos let's go
I actually want Maven to have a show on WWE Network
Bunny, girls do it too. Especially in AEW. In WWE, it happens rarely.
They usually hide someone blading by having the other wrestler get the audience's attention. I've seen them taunting to the crowd, arguing with a referee, or grabbing weapons from somewhere. Also the guy blading would lie facedown as the did it so even if you were looking right at them you still might not see it.

@@JordanBDCkinda hard to do that when timezones make WWE show up in the AM

I prefer bleeding hardway instead of blading. Especially, when the cameras catch wrestlers blading, like in AEW.
Balding is alot safer tho and I'd rather they be safe over getting caught wit a razor
Surely if you were a wrestler you wouldn't say that
@@Mr_Leo_DS I'm not saying they should plan to bleed hardway. I'm just saying that if the blood presents itself out of nowhere, than let it.
