- This prosthesis has been designed to help those people with missing fingers.
It has been modelled keeping in mind the following principles:
Keep the number of printed parts as low as possible. -Keep the assembly process as simple as possible.
Use the least possible amount of non-printable parts. In this new model, you can choose how to join fingers, using screws (2M), axes wire, or filament printer. Leave openings in the model to allow the hand to transpire.
The previous model had another hand rotation system on the wrist, had more freedom. On this occasion I have modified the movement of the wrist using the fantastic idea of a union that uses hand "Flexy-hand v2": www.thingiverse.com/thing:380665
I have also modified the system of tensioning the strings. It is safer than before and takes up less space.
I have included a version without thumb for those who have their own finger.
The fingers flex when they are pulled by strings, such as fishing line, and extend automatically with the help of elastic cord. A fabric strap with velcro is needed to secure the prosthesis to the arm.
You can download the original file blender, and thus can be studied and modified to improve its performance.

Es funcional y esta muy bien logrado...pero creo que al diseño le agregaría la falange proximal que le esta faltando a cada dedo para mejorar a un mas el agarre...eso digo que se puede optimizar pero por lo demás cumple su función 👍💪

hola yo estoy tratando de hacerme una proteis de mi mano , la diferencia de esta que ayo de tantas operaciones me han alargado la mitad de dos dedos (la pinza ) y no encuentro una hecha o parecido a lo que necesito yo voy a ver si sigo buscando o empezar a estudiar autocad para diseñarmelayo mismo y fabricarla

Realmente lo has pensado en las múltiples iteraciones: el retorno elástico y el uso de sólo 2 segmentos de dedo en lugar de 3. ¿Es este tu diseño? Me encantaría saber más - he trabajado en unas pocas manos los últimos años y ahora trabajando para obtener una mano myoelectric muy asequible para los amputados por debajo del codo utilizando sensores de músculo igualmente asequible. Realmente me encanta tu diseño, ya menudo me pregunto por qué hago mis diseños tan complicados, cuando algo como lo que has hecho es fácil de usar, táctil y 100% funcional. Compliments on the design. Nicest looking model I have seen so far. I am currently building one using ABS. I am not too sure how the wrist joints are going to function. I put too much pressure on them and cracked the plastic outside of the joint insert hole of the palm. I will try to solder it but ultimately I think this material is going to need a thin layer of coating to strengthen it without blocking off the holes. Any ideas what I could use? Epoxy perhaps?

could someone get a link for one of these because some years ago my science taacher lost her fingers in a car crash where a big truck collided with her flipping the car upside down and her fingers got jammed in a window. it just makes me fell really sad so i told her i would make her one!

Nice design but has one fundamental flaw that limits its usefulness. With fixed length strings for each finger, as soon as one finger hits the object that you're grabbing, the hand cannot close any further so the other three fingers will not contact the object. It needs a whiffle tree so that the force on all the fingers can equalize and allow them to adjust to different distances.
I think that the wire hinge pins are too small and will quickly wear a slot into the plastic. It needs something with larger diameter to spread the force. Some things that come to mind: print a pin, use a piece of bowden tube (not sure if that is strong enough) , a large nail (if you can cut it), plastic rod, copper tubing, round ballpoint pen, round plastic coat hanger...well just walk around a store and look for anything that's made of hard round smooth plastic that's cheap.
One tip: at 2:24 if you position the wire closer to the joint it will increase the leverage and make it much easier to cut.

Juanillo Pillo es cordon elastico de 1mm de grosor, lo puedes encontrar en mercerias. También he oido que lo llaman cuerda de paracaidas.
Hola , tendran alguna tabla para saber que porcentaje se le da para las distintas edades en los niños. Por ejemolo si quiero hacer una protesis para un chico de 5 años y otra para un chico de 10 que porcentajes le debo dar?

A bolt and a piece of paper clip. :-( Not sure what the piece of filament is for at 3:24. A cable guide? I wouldn't expect it to last long. PLA isn't that strong and gets brittle with age. :-(

Los archivos están en la descripción del vídeo. Así que puedes ir a un sitio de impresión 3d para que lo impriman. Pueden reducirlo o aumentarlo al tamaño de la mano de tu hijo.

Looks like you would need to modify the design in order to have a functioning all PLA version. Slippery objects would be very slippery.

Hola Jorge, yo he compartido esta idea para que la gente que lo desee, con ayuda de una impresora o de una tienda de impresión 3d pueda imprimirlo y construirse una mano. Los archivos están compartidos de manera libre. Y por supuesto quien lo desee lo siga desarrollando y mejorando. Pero yo no me dedico a construir y vender esta prótesis. Espero que puedas encarga la impresión en tu pais y consigas mejorarla. Un saludo.

Buenas, ya has podido resolver tu problema con la prótesis? De ser así me alegro, de lo contrario podriamos ponernos en contacto, soy estudiante y como trabajo final voy a diseñar y construir una protesis.
