Just test drove this car & put a deposit down & love it! I'm a speedy demon & don't need alot of hp so this is perfect step up coming from a 23 sentra :)
I own a 24 Sport. If you floor it you get absolutely nothing from it. If you ease into it you can get 0-100 ( Canada ) in 9 seconds. The CRV is 8 seconds. At the time all they had available was base model civic and the HRV. All CRV's were Hybrid at 52k. If you can live with the Low HP it is a great little SUV. I would definitely rather have the CRV LX base model. But perhaps in a few years my wife and I will buy that.
My question is why the Civic 158 hp motor is direct injection ( carbon buildup magnet) and the 158 hp HRV is Multi-port ( non Carbon buildup heavy)? Honda is dropping the ball with Non Hybrid, CVT crap, non rear vents, non rear cup holder Arm Rest, yet high priced!?!?
no way??? these 2.0 motors and the old 1.8 you cant kill them.... the motor is legendary.. all these other companies aren't making long lasting motors...
In 2022 the Honda HR-V was a great spunky looking fun car. In 2023 Honda updated the look and made this car longer and wider AND UGLIER so they could CHARGE YOU MORE❗ In 2025 the HR-V is one of the UGLIEST cars on the road BUT Honda is charging BIG BUCKS for a LESS RELIABLE CAR ❗
Not to mention they removed the Honda magic seats, where the seats in the back could fold up like the Honda fit to fit in tall items. Idk why Honda being stingy with this car. No usb & ac in the rear yet in 2025 too. Like cmon

You sound just like me , I get photo radar tickets in my civic touring non stop, havent got one in my 24 HRV sport yet! lol.
The mpg is vry underrated, I'm getting 37 on the hwy.

Do you know if the 190hp (crv) vs 158hp (hrv) makes a significant difference?
The hr-v weighs less, and doesn’t need as much power.

The old H is hideous, the new one is bigger and better looking.

I love my Si. Just about all Honda's are fun to drive I've found. Mine is 19 years old and has been in the shop twice for repairs in all that time.
