I've owned one for 18 months, I love it because of a few reasons. Port fuel injection, regular gasoline easy to drive in the city and a great value for the money. I would like to have a power hatch, otherwise I love my 2024 HRV. (the 24 model came out in midyear 23)
We bought the 25 HRV, love the vehicle. Plenty of power for our needs, comfortable and fuel efficient. There is not a 12 volt outlet in the front of the vehicle, the outlet is in the cargo area. More leg room that the CRV and plenty of cargo space.
I just completed the first year driving the 2024 Honda HR-V EX-L. It’s a terrific car aside from the powertrain. Compared to most other cars in its category I considered it well worth the price. I drive it mostly in the city so the lack of power is not a big deal but I do get a bit nervous when entering the Interstate. I wish it had a bit more horses.
We own a 2017 HR-V and can't imagine life without our fold up Magic rear seats. Its a great feature taken from the retired Honda Element. Its possible this will be our only HR-V if Honda doesnt bring them back. Otherwise we love the car.
Your comment about being tall and fitting I am 6 foot 8. My son is 6 foot 6 and we both fit in it no problem he can actually fit in the backseat behind my wife. We bought the 25 HRV sport all-wheel-drive for my wife for a commuter.
Additionally, Acura just announced their new Acura ADX which is over 80% based on the Honda HR-V with the typical nice Acura cosmetic exterior and interior enhancements. The Acura ADX will be fitted with the same 2L turbo engine that powers the entry level Integra so it appears it will be another underwhelming power train. The Acura offerings (3 models to chose from) do not include a Type-S model but if the Type-S was to be offered later with a Type-S worthy engine, I would be first on the list for a Type-S version.… I’m certain an ADX Type-S version if made available will rock that small luxo SUV segment of the market.
I've heard from other reviewers the engine is just too weak for this car. Honda really needs to bring the hybrid version to this vehicle. The mpg with the ice engine is not impressive at all.
I like this car but there are some things that could be better like for the exl trim 8 speakers are nice but the wattage for the radio should be higher for that trim in my opinion
You asked for top three “must haves”? (1) high level of safety features, (2) seat and driving comfort (over crummy roads) and (3) AWD. ( Note-also glad it does NOT have start/stop tech like Toyota or cylinder deactivation like Mazda). Go Honda!
My plan was to buy a brand new Toyota RAV4, but I just can’t get past the utility style looking of the nose of the car. I like a streamline refined styling so I’m looking at other options in Honda and another great make good record of longevity so I’m considering the CRV or the HRV. Unfortunately the HRV gets 20 to 30 miles to the gallon highway RAV4 gets 40 miles to the gallon Highway 39 city HR not good on gas.😫
I had this car for 2 years, not fast at all I struggled merging when getting on the highway. The defrost system is horrible and it’s cheaply made things started breaking inside so fast. The apple car play always had issues. I brought it when Honda remodeled it in 2023. Traded it in 2 weeks ago. I do love the way the car looks but Honda could have done better. Oh and the seats are hard!
@67keyakaren68 Riding on the same architecture and drive train, and that's where it stops. The ADX is far superior in interior and exterior styling, not even close. No one is buying an ADX or HRV for racing.

if they made this in hybrid, it would be even better!

Thank you for sharing. I appreciate it!
They kept the 1.5 turbo engine for ADX. But honestly, we need hybrid in this economy 😂
I think this is my next car

Also miss the magic seat of my 2018 HRV. I have the 2025 exl and apparently the location of the gas tank was moved ultimately retiring the “magic”. 😢

@@jackdelarosa6036 no it won’t. It’s for acura fans that can’t get themselves to buy a superior kia or hyundai. Acura can’t compete with luxury brands

A super nice looking vehicle. How is the interior noise level compared to other makes?

Thank you! I appreciate your feedback.
Compared with Toyota Corolla Cross, Nissan Kicks & Hyundai Kona
What is the interior noise level number of decibels?
It's just a number. That number does not define what you personally or others are going to think is acceptable or not.

Got mine 2 days ago ❤❤❤ loving it!

Thank God Honda offers a beige interior. Looks rich and pretty. I hate black interiors.
own one and would buy another best car for the price
2025 and no charging in the back what year is it 2000
oh look an acura adx
Blasphemous!
@ same car

@ it looks the same just a giant acura grill. Same lame CVT. Not even a hybrid in 2025. Honda is so behind it’s not even funny.
Isn't that ADX pretty??
