Each car had its own sound but the cool thing about it you can always tell when its a mustang. Beautiful cars!

@@RCREVEALED Just by the sound back in the day without seeing the car you knew if it was a 5.0 push rod.Stock there nothing like a set of Flowmaster exhaust.
Bad ass man. Any guy who grew up with these cars that's in there late 30s 40s to there 50s or 60s this is music to the ears..no other sound better than a 302 v8 under hood of a foxbody.

I have 97 Cobra and my 16yr son has 89 vert, we put top in on it. Nothing better in life than ripping gears in stang after bad day. Beautiful collection you have brother.

Awesome video and very nice cars you have there--this was a great idea...the sound and look of these cars always takes me right back to the 80s/90s--a great era for sure...it's pretty special to see one on the road in the northeast these days.

Headers, mufflers, and cats all sound different, even different long tubes sound different. Cam, intake, and heads will change the pitch, tone, and chop. IMO the one thing most share is the resonance from the unequal exhaust and why that sweet flowmaster 5.0 sound is so specific. The 5.0 Flo drone is the soundtrack of 90's performance IMO.

Btw, the red one reminds me of a '89 LX hatch my friend had when I was in my teens. It had a lumpy cam, long tubes, and 40 series Flowmasters dumped right before the rear end. It had a LOT done to besides, but the sound was similar to your '83.

Gotta say a stock 5.0 sounds really good. I have an 88 GT as you can see in the pict. It literally has stock wires and everything and mufflers, the only thing i have done to the car is lowered it and put 2003 Cobra rims on it. The car is very clean, i bought it with 52,000 on and it. It was lady owned she owned it for about 28 yrs. She was about 68 maybe 70 yrs.old. I've owned it for 3. She never left the top down to wear everything got faded or dried out, wasn't driven in the snow or rain. I will be tuning it for sure this summer, but i gotta say it still runs like new, the heater hoses and wires still look brand new and are not dried out. I believe the garage was heated just like mine is for the winter. Anyway nice cars you have there. "🇺🇸 MERICA "

Had a '93 GT, 303 cam, Mac headers, Granitelli X pipe, Mac back half with 3" tips! Loved the way she sounded!

@@RCREVEALED wow i just saw this and funny because it popped up while looking for one as i have been throughout the day after seeing your video last night. Iv owned hard top fbs an convertibles but never a notch so and would like to find one (easier said then done). I know where my 89 gt convertible is. It's a solid car an do like coverts but would rather go with a hard top because id like to build it up something fast. More of a track oriented build but can run light to light with the rest of them.. Or if you'd just sell me your Cobra id leave it alone and have the car i always wanted lol. Thanks again for the inspiration!

Always wanted a foxbody notchback but everytime I see one for sale it's either a full restore or they want a stupid price. That 83 just makes me smile, it sounds so good.

Ran great! Ripped the ring & pinion out the rear end one day….. he got tired of it & sold it to a friend of mine!
That 83 is nice, we have a black one with T Tops, she's all stock and rough, a future project. That cam idle is nice.

Nice cars, I love my 1986 G.T. 60k original. Just had a 306 H, C I done . 370hp. 375 tq. With 410's no cats, x pipe, shortys, magnaflow mufflers. She moves well.

83 and 90 sound the best. I just picked up a 94 5.0. Did bassani o/r x and pypes m80 catback. Can’t wait to get a cam in it and hear it.
I like the old school big block Chevys and hemis and cars of the era of 60s through the early 70s but growing up in the 80s and 90s these where the cars that sounded the best from the factory. All those 5.0 302 Ford Mustangs we're really nice right off the lot. I worked for a car dealership as a car washer and I would drive the cars around the block after washing them and I remember in 1990. A brand new 90 Ford Mustang hatchback GT 5.0 with a 5-speed black on black and that thing felt so awesome to drive I Got a Boner but I was 16.

my 91 fox sounds kinda like your 90. And I have no idea what cam is in it but I know it has gt40 heads.
They're all music to my ears but that stock 89 is Mozart.
Where in Mo are you? I got a couple foxes. Just picked up a 23k mile 1979 notchback fox that was passed around and someone prepped it for paint then it sat outside for 2 years in the shade. Still hasn't had anything done with it and I'm looking for a good paint guy to take it back to original paint color. Interior is mint. That is for the video. Brings back memories

Love the collection and the walk thru. Just wish you gave a better breakdown about what each car actually is running for exhaust. They are all different. From front to back there are so many suttle changes you can make.
