Hp EliteBook 745 G6 Ram Upgrade

A quick video on how to upgrade the Ram on a HP EliteBook 745 G6. This works on both Intel/AMD Processors the Ram configuration can be either DDR4 2400/3200 Feel free to ask questions in the comment section of the video.

I am waiting for my additional RAM order for this laptop. Currently running 16 GB stock but will add another 16 GB. Hopefully, an additional RAM will do just fine. I don't have the funds to buy two new sticks. Hoping that it will work. Thanks for this guide!

No but you can use a external Gpu

What is the max ram the motherboard and the CPU can support?

Not sure about the CPU but can max out the RAM at 32 gigs of DDR4

I checked the specs on HP website yesterday, G6 can use 4, 8 and 16GB modules and you can mix them like 4+32 or 8+16. Mine used to have 8Gb from factory, now has 16+16. :)
