There is a teacher who also survived. There is a video of him sitting in front of his house after being released , town folk driving by giving him gifts and hugs . Arnulfo Reyes, a fourth-grade teacher at Robb Elementary School .
I saw that video several times. The poor man feels guilty because he was unable to save the kids in his class, all of whom died. I hope he gets therapy. It's really heartbreaking.

Meaning, the injuries were serious and warranted intense treatment and observation. She was in a room where most everyone else there with her was slaughtered. She is resilient. She is strong. This massacre has impacted people who are hundreds of miles away. And yet, this child is leaving the hospital smiling, being an absolute happy child. I’ve seen other clips of kids that left the hospital (Uvalde kids) and they seem afraid, broken and vulnerable. Adults shy away from cameras. This child was like a rockstar (rightfully so). Her courage and Witt is admired.

She’s not the last survivor released from the hospital. The grandmother is still in the hospital. She was the first victim and people seem to forget that. I am happy to see this beautiful child leaving the hospital to go home. Praying she gets all the help she needs to move forward in life.
