I enjoy your car reviews, especially your coverage of Mazda. I bought a Z125 back in summer of 2016 when they first hit the U.S. market. I also have a 1970 Honda Trail 70 identical to the one I rode as a kid. Two Mazdas in our garage, both bought new. 2008 MX-5, and 2015 Mazda 6.
Glad you are happy with your Grom! Just riding is awesome on a little bike! I bought the z because I thought the styling looks way better, it handles better, adjustable rear suspension, and just better for me!
Nice Fj-Cruiser at 6:18 on the right. And these small bikes are fun. Until you reach some mountain roads, then the ride can get really looong.😅 But not much of a problem in southern Florida.
My first bike was a 06 SV 650 I rode that for 3 years before I got a grom. Since I've had the grom I've rarely got on the SV and I kinda feel bad but the grom is so much fun
I wanted a Grom for years, but when the Monkey came about I was sold, I wanted new to tick two bucket list goals that would never get fulfilled in my life any other way, 1. One day own brand new vehicle, 2. Possess a white or Yellow vehicle, to justify spending on the most expensive vehicle I've had to date, I sold my ZX9RE1 which was my longest owned vehicle and main bike, so now 125 is the biggest bike I own!.. no regrets, going slow on a monkey is as fun as going fast on a ninja! 💁♂️👍😅
From my experience from riding these minis the hondas are pretty much the best when it comes to quality, just pick which form factor you like. Most will recommend the Benelli TNT 135 as an alternative but no. The fit and finnish just isn't there. That CFMOTO is pretty good though. They're a popular company here but still lower than the honda.
Your bike was down for a couple of days because of handlebars. I am pretty sure it took me 15 minutes to change my bars and I had to reroute the clutch cable because it wasn’t long enough, but there is a way and it’s not hard to figure out.

Z125 was not for me at 6ft. Bars hit my knees. I wanted the monkey just to get the good seat but I think it's little slower than grom and at 125cc slower sucks. The corbin seats are around $500 which sux. How bad is the grom seat in your opinion?
What in the aftermarket would you possibly want that they don’t make for the z125 pro? Just curious! Because I bought one, love it, and the aftermarket makes absolutely everything that I’ve ever needed or wanted!
I dont know about the other bikes but you didnt even cover the difference in the Grom and Monkey. Its more money because it has longer travel suspension. You can only ride 1 up on the Monkey vs the Grom has passenger pegs. The display on the Grom has a tachometer the Monkey does not. The tires on the Monkey are a taller profile, it would be better suited for light off road.
Yes. Grom aftermarket is huge compared to the Kawi. Both good little fun bikes. You cannot go wrong with a Honda. The aftermarket is usually best with Honda. If you want a dual sport. Just skip the tiny bikes and get a DRZ400. The aftermarket for that is huge too.
I get a kick out of folks who buy low-powered bikes, and then spend material money trying to squeeze trivial amounts of extra power out of them. Another fun thing to do would be to find a flat girl friend and to then to help her shop for padded bras.
depends on local/state regulations but you have to get a 49cc scooter which will work for posted speed limits of 35 to 40mph. Honda Metropolitan or Ruckus
lust got a rps condor evben though its a china bike bit blows the grom away in alot of ways i can easily put most parts from honda straight onto my bike including rhe abns brake sustem efi only gives better gas mialge the condore out of the box gets to 65 mph the grom 55 plus the cfraftsmanship and quality has greatly improved as well as reliability
Don't do a Navi, just don't. Minimum for me is full disc brakes and efi. I commute on a modded 2015 grom and am working up a 2019 monkey at the moment. These bike companies are dumb, there's demand for these mini motors specced at 200-250cc in the US market.
Not in the market with the Grom and Monkeys where they got great reputation and long history, I would say that is a bargain not the best, and also need time to tell if is reliable or not.
@@kencai6803 Look into CFMOTO quality. They just built a huge plan in the USA. They are serious about making quality machines with great warranties. CFMOTO also makes A LOT of parts for other manufacturers. They own part of KTM and Yamaha too.

What with the dealerships adding on all these financial abuse fees?
Cool bike, I went with the Honda Monkey, drive it on LBI N.J., where the speed limit in the summer is limited to 35mph.
Are the pro tapers the klx bar?

So the Grom has a gear indicator? It didn't use to.

How about a decent rear rack for a removable top case, that I can order from a US reseller?
Yooo thanks for the video where can I get this orange and black ridding shirt? It match my nitric orange 🍊 24

Which is better for beginner who sucks at shifting, Grom or Monkey? Does Monkey have a gear indicator?
@@Frip36 The Grom has a better display and a gear indicator. However dont get in the habit of relying on a shift indicator.
I don't know if you realized it or not but you said the Honda Navi you don't have to change the oil???

So the conclusion to the title is; the Grom is indeed still the best miniMoto for 2024.
my 23 grom gets around 120 to the gallon bone stock without me on it lol I ride in central oklahoma
3:37 bikes and scooters are the cheat code.
I have a talaria xxx and thinking of getting a grom. It's definitely the after market that matters for me.
I just want to know how many GoPros I will need… 😬
The z125 pro costs 3x as much to flash an ECU. There's a big chunk of the savings.

I live in Lakeland Florida. Thanks.
The Z was a nicer bike, better looking and way better suspension than the first two generations of the Grom. The new Grom has outclassed it tho.
I got the 2023 Grom last year for my first motorcycle. I’m looking to trade it in for a bigger bike
Grom is tough as only bike unless you're in a compact city or use it as a beach cruiser. It's best as a companion bike to a bigger-engine motorcycle.

You don’t have to do the math if your average fuel mileage. You have a button for that on your display 😂 and you can reset it all you like.
Navi is a GREAT STARTER BIKE for beginners, to wet your feet . 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
great video though i still would love to own o real grom though
any info about NEW $12k Pickup from toyota?
The one only sold in Indonesia?
What I've seen from youtube reviewers on the Honda Navi the gas mileage is only around 70 mpg, much less than what Honda claims
That's wild! Still impressive but not the Groms 100 mpg
NOPE YOU forgot to mention the best mini on the market Lifan kp mini 150cc cost 1749 killing these bikes you mention
