This was probably the best video I've seen. You showed how the different accessories worked, and, more importantly to me, showed it working off gravity feed (small head-pressure) vs. a pressurized water system. Greatly appreciated. Great work and I love the support from the spouse!
I can’t think of a reason to incorporate a pressure washer in the same stack of stackable tool boxes. That aside, I’m buying one. You’ve convinced me. Thanks my dude !!!
Ok. Gotcha 👍. So it's a 13.3 amp machine which works out to be roughly 1500watts. Your truck maxes out at 150watts so that's a no go. The connection size, threaded portion is m22, this is really standard for pressure washers as is the hose diameter of 1/4 inch. If you get into commercial type power 🔋 then the hose is larger usually 3/4 inch diameter etc. and the threaded connection changes as well. Those are all 1/4in quick connection fittings on that dewalt- the nozzles/adapters/extensions that plug onto that wand I see. So, in short If you ever need a new pressure hose, wand, or tips the threads for the hose are m22 and the quick connection on the sprayer is a 1/4in quick connection for the hundreds of nifty Amazon attachments. If you want to run it off grid, make sure you have an inverter that will handle 1500watts and a way to prime the pump system. Maybe put in a check valve so the non-pressurized input water will only flow the one way🥂 Not so short answer, but I see the questions down below already 👀🙄 Home Depot didn't pay you 🤷🏻♂️
Have you tested the Ryobi 2000 psi washer? Out of these 2 which would you recommend? I love all the Ryobi accessories, but I love how this has internal storage and compacts nicely.
Appreciate the thoroughness in demonstrating the “stacking” feature and compatibility with accessories. I’ll hold off on this pressure washer and wait for future generations which are battery powered and lock into tough system/packout.
Great video, today I opened my DeWalt pressure washer, and after connecting everything and started to use it, multiple times the pressure went down for a few seconds, and then went back to normal. Is that normal?
Im no engineer and this is just my theory but I think pressure washers typically require a positive pressure water feed to prime the pump and line. The pump stabilizes the water flow and pressure is created by the pipe diameter reduction in the wand and nozzle. Once primed it might be possible to run it without a positive flow if there was no air introduced as the internal pump could have pulled a vacuum on the source. This could be confirmed by connecting the pressure washer to your rain barrel, prime the unit, then elevating it to be above the water level in the barrel and see it it still runs. Note, the shorter the hose, higher chance of this working. Water is heavy.
Great video! I like how light and portable the Dewalt pressure washer is. I hope that you and your family had a great Christmas, it was very strange last night when 9pm rolled around and I didn't know what to do. Can't wait for the next Mayhem show...God Bless and Have a Happy and Safe New Year.
Still don't know if the water inlet of this machine uses 3/8 (where you connect standard faucet hoses) or just 1/4. Thanks if you could update me on this.
Water inlet is standard garden hose that threads onto the machine which is a 3/4in connection although the internal dimensions of a garden hose vary, just make sure its "standard" and it's likely a 3/4 which is what you need.. Don't overthink this part, just screw on a garden hose from the yard😆 ... The connection from the machine to the wand is an m22 thread/m22-14mm/ with an internal hose diameter of 1/4in. This is the standard for pressurized hose. You can buy longer if you need longer then the 25ft supplied pressure hose, just remember the threads need to be m22. 👍 The quick connection fittings like 15°, 40° etc ... those are 1/4in. Confused yet 🥂 Stay safe 🙏
thank you for your demo. I buy one. But why the water inlet always leaking? I use the white type put it on thread but still leaking from the back of the inlet port. It looks like a loose connection. Or I use wrong? Thanks
If you read the INSTRUCTION MANUAL you will fine under "Correct Pressure Washer Position" ; Always keep the right-side up with its feet (17) and wheels (21) on the ground as shown in Fig. B. NOTE: Never attempt to use pressure the washer while standing vertically, on it side or flipped over on the ground. Instruction manuals are not meant to just start the BBQ with.
Exactly man I bought this unit today love it but kept reading reviews of leaks etc. I saw where it says not to stand up during use. It amazes me how some people make it in the world
Thanks for that demo of the stacking capability. That's a little disappointing, misleading putting that picture on the box in my opinion. That would have been sweet if it did stack. It couldn't be that hard to make it stack. I wonder why they didnt add this feature. I'm wondering is the exo type frame solid enough, in your opinion, that it could be modified to be made to lock up in some way. Thanks again MM for the win
You will hate the cordless. First, you will still have to use the hose. Second, holding the gun with the battery attached will tire your arm to the point of throwing it away. Also, 10-15 minutes of use, drained battery. Electric is so much better.
"Warning: If you buy this product in the Los Angeles Area you must travel to Ontario for service under warranty. My unit's telescoping handle broke after 6 months, so it is not easy for me to get it repaired under warranty as the service center is 1 hr away.
An electric/battery hybrid would be nice. It's probably too much of an energy hog for batteries. Do you have a watt meter to see how much energy draw it has? One could get an idea by multiplying amps × volts, but a real world test would be nice. Did you mention the rated amps? I don't remember.
When trying to get water out of a bucket you have to let the PW prime. Take the nozzle off so that water can more easily be pumped out. once the machine has sacked a bit of water in you can connect the pressure tip.

I appreciate the info and I’m sure everyone else does too. Home Depot is not paying me…maybe some day 🤷🏻♂️🙂

That was awesome of you to test it right at home depot! Hopefully they appreciate it as much as the viewer's!

Great demonstration..so great that I want one now.hope you had a great Christmas God bless.
Impressive. You can always come do my driveway for your next test. Happy Holidays to you and the Family
Will you pay for travel? 🙂✌️❤️
@@MasteringMayhem 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Serious your doing a good in depth review of the pressure cleaner.
Congratulations 🎉🎊🎈 on the new baby. You make me wish I hadn’t bought the Ryobi pressure washer and gotten this one.
Cool little washer for small areas! Thanks for the review 🛠️

Awesome! Thanks so much for this, I thought this thing was only good for car washes

Nice review as allways 👍 have to look at one much smaller and could put it up on a shelf to store it not like mine now
How much they running ?
$249 right now
Cool video. I’m curious to see how a surface cleaner would work with it…
surface cleaners DO NOT work well on electric pressure washers......
Does it have a longer wand or do you have to power wash hunched over?

Do u post this on every dewalt pressure washer review? Lol
@@zeestrees2780 Only on the two videos I saw. 🤣
12in surface cleaner is the tool for that concrete, ... if it is capable of a fast and good job ?

I think it’s solid enough to modify for making it latchable
Can it work the same if laying flat ?
Would this be a good pressure washer for car detailing or is there a better compact washer out there?
I think it would work just fine for car detailing. Do you detail fleets of cars or is it a few cars a day?
@@MasteringMayhem GDP didn’t answer you back after asking a question first. So either he’s rude or dead.
I definitely want to find out the price
1/4" hoses/fittings come in 14mm and 15mm sizes. they are not interchangeable.
Maybe prime the hose so there is water in it first. Then go off the lowes bucket.
Thanks for the tip. 🙂✌️❤️
Hello, what is the length of the power cord and the length of the pressure hose?
Power cord is 35’ and the Hose is 25’
@@MasteringMayhem Thank you.
I herd the cordless version is coming in June. Dose anybody have any if on This ?. Keep up the great videos
I’ll keep my eye on any updates about that. 🙂✌️❤️

I do what I gotta do for my viewers…with permission from HD of course 🙂✌️❤️. I appreciate your support as always.
It would be cool to see how it does powered by the Dewalt power station😁

13.3 amps so roughly 1500watts when it's trying to pressurize
125VAC 60HZ 20A 2500W Stamped On the Power cord reset portion. I hope that helps? 🙂✌️❤️

115 volts
Always purge the line before starting it.
