As a newcomer to the rc hobby its sort of confusing when you see "waterproof" on the box when its clearly not the case. Would you say they are more water resistant than actually water proof?
I bought these hex adapters and they’re binding! You have any issues with that during your install. My metal bearring hubs wouldn’t work. Switched to stock beating hubs front and rear and they’re still binding. Not as bad but I don’t like the way it feels.
Cheap China junk one that worked better but then realized trying to put 17 mm hex wheels on the big rock was an absolute waste of time and thought because then it overdrives everything about the truck

🚘🚘. Great addition,,,I did the same thing only with hot racing 17mm extenders,,,,,,,I also installed the hot racing steering rack,,,it really tightened up the steering,makes it real solid.....😀😀😀. Also the hot racing nut has much more thread,,going into the hex....😊 you can tighten a lot more because there is no collar on the the insert.....
LMAO haha that run away truck reminds me of good old days with nitro trucks. Throttle linkage broke apart on my Savage X SS and had to drive it full throttle with only steering until it ran out of gas - luckily I was in a field and could drive it in circles. Cheers brother!

Maybe not the same reason, but I had my GoPro on with all the connections active (Voice activation, Connected to phone, connected to remote). All the sudden my Maxx wouldn't listen to me at all. It would go stop or not move at all. Eventually I turned off the GoPro and all returned to normal. Maybe coincidence, but I am cautious about what I got turned on with my GoPro now.

I'd recommend the tires I put on my mini maxx the proline lp trenchers 3.8.. there awesome tires for the maxx. Ive been hooked on proline tires ever since I have the 3.8 badlands on my kraton and the 4.3 badlands on my xmaxx. Sorry to hear you have had so much bad luck with your xmaxx. I had a esc issue with my maxx out of the box had to wait 2 weeks for a new esc. And my rear shock leaked on my xmaxx out the box. Keep up the great videos and hope you read this comment..

My 3s typoon did a runaway it went stupid crazy wide open cartwheels it did all kinds of stupid stuff it hit wheel of a car it's over I called horizon they said it was interference but I live in country nothing around so I got to send the typoon to horizon they going to go through it see what happed

@@rcguygarage HR makes a bellcrank and pivot ball set. I'm going to get the pivot ball set at some point, after it breaks. I hit a huge rock! That's what knocked mine really loose. But it had some slop to begin with. I think it helps as far as bashing though.
