The plastic pivot balls wear out really quick on the 3s cars. I changed all mine over to the Traxxas 5525 tie rod ends, which have steel pivot balls installed. They screw straight into the arrma turn buckles. Tighten everything right up. I'm not a fan of the HR pivot balls as they are made out of aluminium and I've heard they wear out quickly as well.

    • @lwinter69

You know that’s right!! If you’re worried about wear why would you use aluminum rather than steel!?!

Put some heat shrink around the ball end then heat it up then put your piece back on it will be tighter

Returned it and bought a big rock, senton and typhon lol! Now it’s back to phone recording for me. Gave my daughter the typhon and painted it pink. But I'm starting to get into electric more because they are cheaper to keep running they ain't as messy there is far more part support for electrics. And it's fun. Parts wear out with hard use. That's normal but if there breaking fast ok up grades . You want more power go for it. Ime going 4 s steel spire gear and aluminum front Stering knuckle. Why over 40 packs now The way I drive I have broken 2 Stering knuckles in cold weather . Spur needed for 4 s 💪 but other than that my big rocks are solid I have dents in body I drive it like I stole it. But it's holding up great better than expected. The way I drive warrenty is void because it's all user abuse. I know that. No problem I put 26 us dollars in my 2 Big rocks fixing them for hrs of fun . You can't go to a movie for cheaper 🤣 And it's way more fun. That's why I work to play hard my thanks go out to arrma I almost got out of rc because I got tired of fixing my cars with every trip. Been out 25 times broke a 6 Dollar part. Ooh let me cry🤣🤣🤣👍 yes I drive it like I stole it. Bash on people 💪👍
