@@BikeWorldTVshow but looses some points in the video production quality and storytelling :) and I do prefer reviews where bike's are not just praised to the sky anyway I like both, but F9 has just the most interesting motorcycle channel on youtube :)
@@WojciechKalka I agree this video production, that’s because our video team weren’t there. F9 tells a great story, we concentrate on riding the bikes, F9 does have issues with the cold weather. 🥶
Best reviewer on the tube. Hands down. Love how you always put feelings first and spec’s last. Don’t stop saying we, we are the we, all of us. Best of luck.
It's fair to say Bike World has had an awesome season, with just enough maturity to boot💪😄 from Perth AU cheers for all of the super reviews in 22 Guys
No if’s no but’s the best informative bike show by a country mile, don’t change anything because it’s to notch already, I loved the TL1000s superb bike, I have the sv1000s total bookers 👍👍
So after the first 25-30 seconds I was like: 'Jesus, that riding is a bit dodgy!'. Then when I saw it was Chris, I just smiled and thought: 'Ahhhh, makes sense now....... It's bloody Chris, he's just taking the p1ss!!!' 🤣 Best bike journo in the business - love it!!
It looks like good fun but I do wonder it these systems are a boon or not from the viewpoint of learning how to ride (a track). Do you think these "extra" systems are catered more for the less serious riders then and do you think it's a good direction for the next step that the systems and electronics take?
Darn that Chris! I have bought more bikes over the years based on his videos, plus I already have metal reinforced collar bones from a previous misadventure. If, by “My job here is done,” Chris meant he just sold a boatload of double Rs, then I’d say he is quite likely right. We’re gonna need bigger trailers.
I really wanna buy this bike so bad but i cant get out of my mind all this engine blows and elektronic issues the preview modells had. Nice video btw i really enjoy it!
I am not sure about this bike yet. I never take my K67 to the track and I don't fancy slip sliding around on public roads. Also the livery on that bike is a bit watery compared to the K67 M package. I am assuming the model featured was the new M package?
Can’t wait till April when mine is coming , so curios how does it feel from a 150bhp naked honda 2022 to 210bhp Bmw S1000RR M sport 23 . 😊. Hopefully like I feel from 125 straight to 1L 😅
I’d love for the TFT updates to be available for the previous years K67 model, I’ve asked and they’ve said no but fingers crossed that changes, can’t see how it couldn’t be doable as it’s surely just a software upgrade.
@@beeraiii8449 In that case I’d maybe expect them to offer it further down the line but tbh it’s only a few differences with regards to the TFT displays etc, I doubt someone will swap out their K67 purely for that reason. I have the K67 as well and I wouldn’t trade it in just for those reasons, but I would pay x amount for the TFT changes which would make them money.
The scariest thing to do on track is to find the limit, this electronic package is remarkable - it'll still be scary until you learn to trust it.....and 2 million horsepower !! 🙂
it better be good ! i have a CB1000R Honda 22 model and i ordered now the S1000RR 2023 M package ,wife is not going to be happy and i need to tell her somehow till April when it arrives😅
I still aint got a clue by watching this video what I can safely do on my bike and what I can't do. I took my 23' S1K M package out last week where it was wet and even though I had all the safety features set on max the back wheel tyre lost traction 4 times on acceleration or turn and I feel like if I didn't release the throttle it would spin out. thought electric would cut the power to the back wheel even if I was in full throttle.
Does BMW have a new head of production? it used to be the sportsbikes from BMW were so good that some thought they were boring. as Chris said, they have had an injection of humour :-D
I really think it's a wonderfull motorcycle, tough if the M is standing next to it it's terrible. Even tough budget wise this is the far better option, at least I think.
Funny. Best thing is you can easily turn the electronics off and it is a good bike to ride regardless. Think it sounds like BMW have done a good job bridging worlds.
Where is the fun in hitting the "easy button?" I support using all those electronics for street riding that help us for the unexpected motorist or road debris. Racing or track days for me was about improving my lap times by learning how to brake and use the throttle. I mean I'm sure riding bikes described would allow me to go quicker and safer. For me the point was me to improve my skills to improve my lap times not jump on a piece of machinery that does that for me. I think 95% riders would rather have aids on and off the track, after all who would turn off those aids if it help beat his buddy.
Beautiful Bike. However for all the Manufactures and Riders. I don't understand the point of having 200bhp when you need all the electronics and Nannies to even ride it ?? A Good Rider on a 04-07. GSXR, R1, CBR, ZX10. Would Smoke 90-95% of the people who will buy this Bike on a Road Course. And your paying $20k+ for it. Help me understand
From my perspective, this bike is pointless. It's just proof that a computer is able to do much of the work of a skilled rider. So what. I mean, where does it end? Yamaha already built a robot that drove a motorcycle around a race track. Give us a 1200cc superbike, a 1300cc superbike, a bike that has adjustable handlebars, pegs, seat with the press of a button. A bike with adaptive aero. Adjustable wheelbase. Adjustable frame geometry. A bike with multi-displacement engine, something truly innovative. Yeah yeah I know, all the racing sanction rules.
all of these electronic aids make these bikes easy to ride even for novice riders and almost impossible to crash! phuck that. its a computer on 2 wheels. no heart no soul
I'm very nervous about riding fast on the track..... THIS IS THE BIKE FOR ME!!!! Excellent review mate!
I think of you more as a 2023 M1000RR kind of guy 🤭
Don't be nervous ib
Takes big balls to do 200 mph on the road.
Lol
Eeeerrrr. Get a 600?
A very indirect way to say that you're slow when you have to actually ride. Don't worry, we know

Do you know if the same electronics package is on the new m1000r?
I love the wings! And they come standard + painted to the color you get bike wise🤩 ddc is cool but I want the m1000rr suspension instead
The M suspension isn't top drawer, it's good enough, to be replaced by nitron, ohlins, etc in the race bikes. The DDC is better for the road though.
daamn these bikes are getting crazier every year
DO have the 2022 version have the same assist?

@Hugh Jaanus that’s actually such a good point. That’s one thing I’ve hated on the new beemers

Chris, do you prefer this or the Panigale V4?
go for panigale... in our country bmw has alot of electronic issues even there mechanic cant even fix the bike
What about a real road test against an average supersport, ducati n aprilia, to see if its worth the price

"Stunt mode." Wow!
I kinda prefer to go half the speed and do 100% of the riding - but that's me. Lovely bike.
What is the value of safety and personal health?
13500 rpm 🔥🔥🔥🔥
If I was buying a 1000, this would be it.
niiice!!!
..and slowly but surely good technical riders will be a thing of the past🤘😉
This looks like agressive m1000rr
Looks better than the m1krr
Clicked so fast thinking its the M1000 RR lol
If I had to guess, 90% of the people complaining about the electronics probably don't ride fast enough to need those electronics in the first place.
I just put deposit on this bike I can't wait
Well if that's the case then this is the biggest game changer since the Fireblade.
Probably some kind of computer modeling to figure out the traction control levels
It has all that and no brake light.... make it make sense. Bring the LED brake light back
Stopie mode next thing you'll know it won't need a rider
Just a shame Scott Redding can't ride it as well...
_Say, that's a nice bike..._
Why can Ducati have such a small unnoticable exhaust tucked underneath and BMW has this behemoth of an exhaust underneath on the side looks just awful
Because a Ducati runs so hot that you always get burned :), while a BMW runs cool
Bro you can change exhaust
Because Ducati loops the exhaust under your nuts and ass!
Different configuration guides the design of the exhaust - another example, the KTM Super Duke R. Many people will replace the OEM exhaust anyway
Those under engine exhaust box look ridiculous!
If BMW spent time reshaping it, the s1000rr 2023 would be the finest all around super sports bike
Just buy a new exhaust and get rid of the catalytic converter.
